After flashing a stock ROM with Odin, are you doing a factory reset from stock recovery before booting the phone after flashing?

So I decided to switch back to stock from CM9, and i flashed XXLPQ over odin as pda, and it worked fine, but didnt go past the galaxy s screen, i've tried battery pulls and clearing data/cache, flashing again, but it hasn't gone past the Galaxy S screen. Any help? I've done this before and had no problems. Halp pls
If you've got a Galaxy S2 & you're stuck on the Galaxy S screen then you've got a problem. Sounds like you've flashed the wrong firmware for your phone to me.
factory wipe in recovery then flash via odin...
Flash cwm
Format system
Flash using Odin.
I had cm10.1 on my international s3 gt-i9300.
Then i decided to flash the stock rom
i wiped data, cache, dalvik cache and then flashed official ROM via odin.
It showed success but now when i power it on, it gets stuck at the samsung logo.
i tried to install cwm, but it wont go into recovey!
Pleaseeee help...!

Pull and reinsert the battery and go in recovery and do a data/factory reset and wipe cache and reboot. That should work.

I have samsung galaxy ace 5830i
yesterday i restarted it but i got stuck on bootloop where it repeats the samsung logo
my phone was rooted and i did increase the internal memory using link2sd and stuff.
i tried everything from factory reset to reflashing the stock rom but the boot loops is not fix.
i tried to connect it with kies to flash the original firmware but even in the download mode the kies won't recognize my device.
i even tried flashing other custom roms and then doing factory reset wiping cache files dalvik files etc but nothing is working for me
Help will really be appreciated

if you have custom rom or stock rom coocked the kies cant help you.
do these solutions in order :
>>>solution 1 : in recovery do facotry reset and install rom , wip cache and dalvick. the first boot take time. so wait. if not worck try to format system before flashing rom.
>>>solution 2 : factory reset in recovery then install stock firemware by odin after flash is complete enter to recovery and do factory reset again. the first boot take time. so wait.
>>>solution 3 (danger, do it only if you give up if you dont have any other solution) : flash stock firmeware with odin but cheek nand erase all in odin, after flash is complete enter to recovery and do factory reset(compulsory).the first boot take time. so wait.
use latest odin version.
good luck.
Hi everybody, I have a serious problem with flashing my i9300. I tried flash stock rom 4.1.2 by several methods (Kies, Odin 3.07) but nothing worked. Each flashing procedure runs corectly, but after reboot occurs samsung logo loop unless I remove the batery. I can get into download mode or recowery mode, I tried wipe reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache but nothing is worked. Thx for response guys.
Try 4.3 stock rom. I flashed via Odin and factory reset via recovery mode, and it works!
Thx It works.
Get the stock ROM from:
http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9300
Yes...it's work.
Thank you very much.
Ok so, after many attempts I decided to ask for help here.
Months ago my old s3 "died". My brother was using it and it rebooted itself. From then it's still locked on SAMSUNG boot animation.
I've tryed many solutions. At first I thought it was the power button because in the past it gave me random reboots so... I removed it
No luck.
I'be bought a JIG, booted in download mode (or fastboot? nevermind) and completely installed the original ROM and firmware via Odin.
Another time, no luck.
The phone it's still locked on boot logo. On battery it cannot go beyond the first black and white screen, on charger it stucks on the SAMSUNG colored and animated one.
I have tried to change the battery but still no luck.
Am I missing something?
Thanks
Did you perform a factory reset from recovery mode after flashing a stock ROM and before booting the phone for the first time?

No I didn't. I'm going to try this and will report here, thanks.
Btw, flashing stock firmware doesn't wipe all possible datas?
No, don't reset if you don't want to lose all data.

Flash the stock firmware, factory reset, flash the stock firmware AGAIN. Remnants will remain if you don't flash twice with a reset in between.
