can someone help me? I have brick my Goophone i5S, MTK6572, 512MB when i have tried to Backup the ROM with the MTK Droid Root Tool. Now it dosen´t work anymore.

I have tried to Flash this ROM:
goophone-i5s-2 ROM from needrom
But it dosen´t work and i get this error SP FLASH TOOL ERROR: (8038)
i have attached the logfile.
i hope someone can help me
I can help if I can make a backup of my rom but don't know how to download the files to put in a zip file. any help and I can help you?

hi, i just had the same thing. it's not actually bricked from simply backing up. you can press home + volume up + power to enter recovery. then press power again to bring up the android system recovery menu, then make sure reboot system now is highlighted (is the first option and should be highlighted by default), press the volume up key to perform this action.

My I5S doesn't boot anymore, too.
I have tried to flash a newer Stockrom but it bricked my phone.
It still gets recognized from the Flshtool but I don't have a suitable Rom for my phone.
I have the same problem, I tried to update it and the phone is bricked.

Hi at all,
Yesterday I flashed the Rom (needrom website - goophone I5s 1gb version) the Rom worked a while then the battery gone empty since then the phone won't start any more.
I tried the delivered usb cable and an other no name cable ... Both don't work. What can I do to boot / load my goophone again?

this smartphone is very hard to understand.. usually when the smartphone go an preloader mode.. the battery starts to drain...
i think you have to connect the smartphone to a powersupply (not a PC) for 10 minutes.. and the try the POWER+HOME for 25 secs.

My Karbonn Smart Tab 3 is still not working..
If someone can guide me on how to flash the ROM.
1. I have downloaded the ROM from moulnisky dot com (Cant post links yet)
2. Found the Flasing tool and driver from gsmhosting dot com (just search for "Karbonn Smart Tab 3")
3. The Flashing tool is not in English and so if you just do next, next it should work.
The only problem that I am facing is my Tab is stuck at the boot-up animation screen, I am able to hold volume up + Power to go to recovery mode, but I don't know if this tab has any download mode because I have tried volume down + Power (nothing happens)
I have tried the flashing tool while the Tab is in recovery mode and also tried it when the tab is on the animation screen but nothing happens.
I don't have any where else to look for help.
Please help.

Solution
It is because livesuit needs tab to be in download mode
Unlike samsung, we go to download mode by pressing vol- +menu + power,
In tab,
1 switch tab 3 off
2 press volume down (or up....I dont exactly remember..try both)
3 keep pressing and put the usb in
4 press power repeatedly untill Tab gets detected via LiveSuit
Also I would ask u not to update to jelly bean as I just updated and Its too buggy... lags too much and also root goes off

It just hangs on the Bootscreen with the "The Art Hi-Tech" and the logo.
No chance to get into cwm with power+vol up and even the Hardresetbutton just switches the tablet off.

Have you tried to put the update.zip file and recovery image on an SD card ?
If not do that then press (Volume +) + (Power) buttons then when the screen flashes stop pressing the (Power) button and keep pressing the (Volume +) button after some time it will start flashing the Tab.

Do you have a CWM flashed already or not?
If so then I had this problem before you just need to put the update.zip on the root of the SD card then press the recovery buttons for some time like 2 minutes -some times it takes so long but it works- .

Bootloop fixed
Hi Zack.
I was able to get it sorted with fastboot. Needed the laptop to register the m3-chip that it was saying was the tablet. Once that was done, flashed it with the original stock firmware. It now runs like it was brand new.

I have bricked my Intenso Tab 814 (same as Prestigio PMP5580C). I formated the bootloader space + the recovery space, and now I can't even turn it on. The backlight of the display isn't glowing up at least. So I used my MicroUSB cable and connected to the computer, it is recognized by the computer, but I can't flash anything back with the amlogic software which I've got, I am really appreciating when someone of you can try to help me out,

Unbricked Intenso Tab 814
I have successfully unbricked an Intenso Tablet 814 also know as Prestigio PMP5580C! It had no bootloader and all partitions were formatted! This includes the bootloader, means it even showed backlight as I plugged it into the power supply. I got a rescue sd card made with Christian Troys tutorial but my tabket was nit abke to start, because the nand chip was corrupted, so I looked at the nand chip and used a scrwwdriver and put it on the 6 and 5 th point t the right side on the left side is the hole on the nand chip, after that I was able to permitt the access for the nand chip to the mainboard, so it booted from the sd card automaticaly,
Intenso Tab 814 can be unbricked! Yeah, now I need it's source to customize the recovery and boot splash + oneday the os,

But then I want to install CWM recovery into the phone as it much feature rich that the stock e3 recovery. So I've downloaded the CWM recovery from the page in the picture below.
I used MobileUncle Tools to boot the CWM recovery & that's when the issue occured. It keep restarting after the Huawei logo. I cant even get into the recovery (by holding volume button up + power button). If I hold the volume down button + power button, a sentence " => FSATBOOT mode... " at the lower left corner of the screen will appear but the phone will reboot itself again & again. Please help. Thank you.

get the firmware for your phone (don't know if it's G700-U00 or U10), and flash images back. take out the battery, put the software in download mode for the necessary images (=download to phone), and insert the cable while you 're pushing both volume buttons

I think the program he is refering to is listed on that other thread that he refers to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2412017
The program hisuite is mentioned. just google hisuite and you will find the official Huawei website with the program download.
But a "dummies how to guide" could be useful if anyone that have done this themself could take the trouble to make one.
Personally I just have ordered and not received my G700 yet, and found this thread because I was planning to root and put CWM into it when I get it.
But reading this thread makes me a bit worried if its worth the trouble, as it sounds as its a common problem on these phones.
From what I read, rooting is rather safe, but the CWM part may brick the phone, is this correct?

->again the device show up only for couple seconds in fastboot mode like just detected and den removed.
-> tried pressing vol+ key battery removed and den pushing battery but nthng helped.
tried everything but m nt able to read the partition of my device. Plz suggest any alternative to push and replace recovery

Hi i faced the same issue , the reason is mobile uncle told dint download the recovery image properly it was of 0 KB and i flashed it and error ..

I bought lenovo tab 2 A7-10f for my brothers birthday.
After one week of using it he brought it back to me with words: I broke it.
He rooted (Kingo software) the Android system and than he cleaned some system apps which caused the crash of the system.
Now when I start it the boot stops in lenovo welcome animation and I can't get to boot mode anymore (pushing volume and start button) the system freeze in welcome screen with lenovo and android logo - no martian.
When I tried to connect by ADB the device appeared to be "offline" and I can't reach it.
Can you help me, please?

CPU: MTK 8127 QC 1.3GHZ
You need lenovo flash tool and latest rom. T2-A7-10F_USR_S041_150112_ROW or another.
power off your tablet.
push volume down and connect with your computer.
tablet will start and show he is charching.
Start flash tool. load the scatter file. In above rom it is : MT8127_Android_scatter.txt
once loaded push download.
some files will go to your tablet. If flash tool quickly stops , power off your tablet, but leave the usb cable.
Once powerd off , flash tool will continue.
when het is finished , you will see this on your computer.
disconect and restart tablet.
2nd possibility : power off you tablet
hold 3 buttons. Poweron , + and -
when tablet vibrates , release powerbutton but do not release + and - button
now your tab will start in recovery. here the tab says : no command and you push the powerbutton to see the menu.
there you can choose : wipe data/factory reset
after reset choose to reboot.
if this factory reset does not restore you tab , you must flash the rom.
choosing with keys :
with - button you go down
with +button you select
with power button menu will show

Try SAMmobile.com (you will have to make a free account) when you have made your account click the firmware button at the top of the screen then type in your phone model number. For example SM-G361F the choose your country. Then in the filter box seach your network provider ie. O2 then click download. Once you have downloaded it unzip the file in a folder. Boot your phone into odin/download mode. Click BL or AP it dosent really matter then choose your file and wait for the blue bar on your phone to finish. Then it should restart

Try resetting the phone from recovery.
Enter into recovery(use possible combinations of power+vol up or power+vol down or power+vol up+vol down) and factory reset the phone. This might help.

I was asking for a way to download the stock rom for lenovo. now i got both a smartphone and a tablet from lenovo.
edit: when i try to us e the method showed by stevencumps,nothing happen. is there a posibility to flash the rom via stock recovery ?

That's amusing. they have a lenovo tablet and you're telling them to look for their stock firmware on a site for samsung devices and to restore the device with a program that is made for samsung devices, lol.

He rooted (Kingo software) the Android system and than he cleaned some system apps which caused the crash of the system.

I am not sure how this works but this is the downloable file any tablet tab 2 A7 10F gets when it's going to upgrade from kitkat 4.4 to lollipop 5.0 so I guess this will work on any of your tablets. This versión is supposed to be for latinamerica but It holds many languagues if any of you need others than Spanish or English.
