You can't just install the language files you get in Crowdin. You have to unpack the rom, add the files to each app/package, repack the rom, and flash it. It's no easy task for a newbie, i had to learn all that by myself as, like you, wanted MIUI in my native language (spanish) ...
Now that i know how to do it, i add spanish language on each weekly release.
Anyway, you shouldn't get into such fuss... there are several multilanguage miui releases available...

[APP][LG stock Keyboard][CM7 & cutom ROMs][Gingerbread based ONLY][UPDATED 26.03.12]
Hello guys,
I have made a flashable zip for those who want the LG Gingerbread stock Keyboard. I know that in CM7 is not supported and probably neither in other custom Gingerbread ROMs(only Android Keyboard is supported) .
Pay attention! This is only for GINGERBREAD [2.3.x] CUSTOM ROMS (DEODEXED ROMS)
So for those who love LG Gingerbread stock Keyboard here it is:
1. Download the desired ZIP (see below zips) to root of SDCARD (no folders!)
2. Reboot to Recovery (i use CWM 5.0.2.7)
3. Wipe cache and dalvik cache
4. Choose "install zip from SD CARD"
5. Flash zip
6. Reboot.
LG_IME_2.3.zip - without T9 user dictionary (for those that don't need user dictionary)
LG_IME+DIC_2.3.zip - with T9 user dictionary working (for those who want to add words on the dictionary)
Phone models reported to working:
LG Optimus One (LGP500) - GB
LG Optimus 2X (LGP990) - GB
Huawei X6 - GB
Samsung Galaxy S (GT-I9000) - INFINITUM ROM - ICS (working but not properly on ICS because is GB based)
Regards.
If i helped you please press THANKS button.
I'm not responsible if you brick your phone, you flash this at your own risk.

Well, glad to hear that. I also like the LG Keyboard (qwerty one) more than default android keyboard, and because is not supported in CM7 i have ported it from LG stock rom 2.3.3 V20H

Great. I have also tested on a ICS rom for LGP500 (hephappy ICS CM9 port), it works, but i cannot switch between Android keyboard and LG Keyboard after that only if i remove the keyboard...
User dictionary NOT working..
Hi!
Fresh installed CM7 Alien today (Optimus 2x) and flashed this keyboard from you...
It adds words to the user dictionary BUT, it seems that the keyboard has it's own list?
It doesn't predict my words from the UD unless I open settings for keyboard, selects dictionary and inputs a word. Then it works forever for that single word..
If I type a word and long-press it for adding to dictionary, it adds it to the built-in(?) dictionary and it does NOT show up in prediction..
Any ideas of whats wrong? Have two versions of the stock LG keyboards and none of their UD's works.. Really don't have the time or patience for adding every single word the long way..
Kind regards, Victor
OMG. ..I really need this for my cm7.2!
Sorry for my bad English: (
One more thing... would you please help me to add a Chinese input language in it?
Sorry for my bad English: (
To have a working user dictionary you have to add every word you need in future, sorry about that, you also can search on the internet for some dictionaries, probably there are users that share dictionaries for LG keyboard.

Well to have chinese input on your smartphone, i think that your ROM has to support it, but in any case if you are not able to use the chinese input with LG stock Keyboard then install from Google Play/Market the one of the following applications:
- Google Pinyin IME
- Sogou

No problem mate, i'm glad i can help. From what i know the ROM has to support first the language that you want to use with a keyboard, if the desired language is not present also in the ROM then you are not able to use it also with the keyboard.
Regards,
ben.
Can i use it on hephappy CM 9 or AOKP?
EDIT
I flash it over hephappy CM9 this keyboard works but when i creating new message, enter button doesnt work
I have followed this thread [Patch] Add Arabic Support to any ROM [0.97][Updated 9-5-2012] instructions to arabic enable my Galaxy ACE S5830i working with custom rom MINDCR v2.4.BGLH4 my baseband is S5830iXXLB1
Now I have a problem that my browser force close and I tried other browser which had the same problem
I changed the libwebcore.so back to the original file and the browser is now working perfectly but of course without arabic displayed right.
I don't have this problem in facebook or whatsapp applications which are working good and have arabic connected letters right.
My question here is that is there anything to do to enable arabic in my browser without making it force close or by other words can someone give me another libwebcore.so file which can work with my rom good?

I finally managed to fix it
I followed the madmack patch http://blog.devasque.com/how-to-apply-patch/
Then I fixed the permissions of the libwebcore.so file in order to avoid the force shut down
Then I installed Opera mini and now I have Arabic in all applications except for the default browser (Removed) and Gmail (not using)
I have Arabic in Opera mini, FaceBook App, Whatsapp ...etc
I'm using Mindcr 2.4
If you are using same Rom PM me and I can share the files and fonts with you

Seems like it's the only way to go though. Leave AOSP as it is, install GBoard and use it as default.
It's working for me and everyone else. Deleting AOSP keyboard makes no sense
