[Q] Can't flash baseband - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

Not exactly sure if I can stick with the ROM that I am using, [AOSPA][4.4] PARANOIDANDROlD 4.0 [ALPHA][12/03], and just find a baseband to flash or do I have to do a full restore. I flashed this ROM using TWRP.
not getting cell service, baseband says unknown. I appreciate the help!

You have to use the latest version of CWM Recovery to flash this rom. Its says it in the directions. Latest version I believe is 6.0.4.3.

Will flashing a rom change the Cwm version

I'm currently using galnet miui rom which has Cwm touch version and it seems to be giving me a error when I try to flash the original miui rom.
I've had this before and it was down to the Cwm version.
My question is if I flash a rom containing the normal Cwm version ie not touch. Will it change the version of Cwm?

Hi Guys,
I just flashed the last version of CMW by Pershoot (version 6.0.2.7) but it is not touch. Is there an updated version of CWM in touch version?
Thanks,
Allisson

how to flash the .img file?
Hi guys,
This link above brings a. img file. How to flash it? Odin needs a .tar file; Cwm a .zip.
Help needed here.
Allisson
Either use Mobile ODIN and flash the recovery.img or create a tar to flash with ODIN.
Thanks. I was not aware that mobile odin would use .IMG. How to make the .tar file?
Thanks again.

You can use rom toolbox or goo manager. Most people like to use goo. Personally, I use rtb. If you can't get it to automatically do it, you can download the zip and manually flash it in the twrp version that you already have installed. For future reference, the link below is the thread for twrp that you can refer to that has this information.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=35402954
I'm assuming you already have a copy installed? If so, download the latest version from here and flash it manually.
Thanks guys, got it updated with no problems!!

Rom toolbox pro works gr8

Unable to flash any custom rom

I've tried flashing a couple of roms, but I get a failed message that says "failed to update binary in zip." What does this mean?
Please give some more info. I.E. what is your hboot? TWRP version?

Twrp 2.7.1.0 or twrp 2.7.1.0b? If it is just 2.7.1.0 that is most likely your issue. You need the modified twrp recovery from Captain Throwback. Also what roms are you flashing? Make sure they are for the new partition layout.

Just 2.7.1.0, I didn't even know there was a later version, I just downloaded the latest version from TW's website. I tried flashing Liquidsmooth's rom (3.1).

The one you need is not official through twrp. It's located in our wonderful friend Captain Throwback's thread since he was the one to modify it.
