Download the motorola update tool from the Atrix website
You could also check the Motorola noobs guide; it covers how to unlock and root the phone, which will you be needing
I suggest installing a custom rooms which will work better than the stock version

Indiatimes sells it for 18K
In all likelihood, it would already have GB 2.3.4. So do not worry.

This phone must have been imported from countries like US or UK, just try find that there is any sign of operator name like At&t, t-Mobile or Orange etc., in the phone box, you can find it. If you find that only you can update your phone.

You have scared me all the more man...anyone has counter claims to make against this one?? From what i have heard elsewhere, the update is a phone update...nothing to do with SIM card...
Sent from my Droid RaZr.
Sim card? if you're referring to your network you'll still be able to use it after any of these updates.it wont lock the network.it will only lock the bootloader.
If you want to do it through the SD card method remember that you'll first have to update your phone to a newer version of froyo and then update once more to gingerbread. the automated version will save you the hassle.
And btw your warranty is a sellers warranty not manufacturers warranty.so i suggest you unlock the bootloader and install a custom rom, as it wont affect your warranty status.

I think there is some confusion and i am to be blamed...i have an AT&T phone, not sure if the bootloader is locked or not...I am in India and am using a GSM SIM card here. Now the phone is Froyo...i want a Gingerbread upgrade. I have discovered two ways, through Wifi and through the SD card...
I currently don't have Wifi...so am planning to go ahead with the SD card method.
+ my fear, if i update it through the wifi, my Network may get blocked again. Here was my actual conusion...but I think i will wait for a while...I am using a Froyo 2.2.2 currently...what is the next version until i get on board the Gingerbread??
Thanx again...

Hello
I wanted to root and install CWM my N7105 LTE version with CWM recovery. Everything went fine, I got PASS in Odin, and phone is rooted.
However when I try to go to recovery mode, screen goes flashing crazy and device turn off on itself.
Do you have any advice how to install CWM on N7105 or is there any version working with it?

I have N7105 and I used Odin as well but it seems to work fine for me. Boots into CWM with no problems. My only question now is where to find the Stock ROM for the N7105 so I can un-root if ever necessary.
P.S. Anyone know if the N7105, specifically the SHV-E250L, will work in the US? Is factory unlocked? Is the GSM band frequencies in Asia and the US compatible? I live in South Korea but I am returning to the states next June...I bought the phone with the impression that it would work anywhere.
Hey. I managed to get hands on bootloader file from stock ROM. I reflashed this one via odin and flashed CWM again. It worked this time.
It could work in no problem. Mine works in Poland (Europe) so I see no reason that it should not work in states. At least I think so.
Hi, may I know the link to download the CWM?
Thank u
Im sad to say this but look at the "love" the lte version of sgs3 is getting in rom way...

You Can found Stock Rom in http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-N7105 , and how to install CWM in to N7105? I just Root it with CF-Auto-Root v1.0
Any impact on the LTE capabilities after rooting your N7105? I just got my N7105 LTE set and thought of rooting it.
None what so ever.

No.
I got my phone from one of the carriers in the Philippines which is locked. So I decided to try out the unlock method of cellunlocker and here's what happened. First they tried to find an unlock code of my phone via my IMEI and sadly they didn't made it and so recommending me to try the software way and decided to give it a shot (desperately to unlocked my phone) and the procees went smoothly though and yes it unlocked my phone and be able to use any sim card, the problem is that it works only as for Call and Text but sadly Mobile Data isn't working :/ for other sim, mobile data works only with my phone's carrier sim. This thing happens when trying to unlock a device? Is my phone still has a possibility to do a full unlock since asking for an unlock code won't popped out anymore? Or I can't do more any unlock method with my phone? Is this good as dead? yay.
You need configure APN. You can check on Google tutorials and data for configure the APN for your carrier.
