Next launcher 3d has really improved as of late. It handles memory better and has some great themes. If you haven't tried it, take a look. Here is my Christmas setup.

Last time I tried it (the beta free version it wasn't optimized for tablets good. Everything was too small and didn't fill the screen. Is this fixed?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using xda app-developers app
Yes. There are a couple options when running in landscape. Here is mine in landscape, same setup. There may still be some tablet issues but I haven't found any yet.
Also that is a live Wallpaper so the perspective might be slightly different than the last shot.

Tsf is nice on a phone but not that practical on a tablet and is too complex of a launcher for my basic use

Agreed. I have TSF. I do not use it on anything anymore. It is nice, but doesn't do well on a tablet. Like you said, I find Next 3d more like a basic launcher, though it to is not as straight forward as Nova or something like that. I do not use the 3d settings either as I find it not practical. Nothing wrong with TSF. It is all preference.

Not entirely true. Nexus Revamped is a customizable version of the Nexus One live wallpaper. This one looks to be a new variation with moving waves. A similar effect might be accomplished with Nexus Revamped using a custom background but it certainly isn't the same wallpaper.

+1 Revamped is a modded N1. The one for NS is almost completly different. I've also been wanting this.
By the way launcher is in the market!! http://androidapproved.com/item/gingerbread-launcher-for-android-2-2-in-market/

hate to break it to you,but youre wrong. sure nexus revamped can come close to it, but i can see differences. plus i highly doubt google would use a kanged version of the original live wallpaper when showing off the nexus s

Not to add fire to the flames...but it could be possible they have in fact improved upon the original wallpaper based on the nexus revamped. Wouldn't be the first time they taken ideas from the public. I mean after all why not...its us who has to use them in the end. Is there a video that shows the waves in the background actually moving or is this an assumption that has been made that's its more than just a background like in nexus revamped?
hey guys the3dman has made a live wallpaper similar to this one, check it out its included in his theme

Unless it looks somehow special in the menus and stuff, I don't see the difficulty in replicating that homescreen in any of the available custom launchers...
Or am I missing something here?
Ok first things first, I have a AT&T Samsung GS2 Skyrocket (US). Updated it a few months ago to the long awaited but crappier ICS; left lots of GB crumbs........ Anyways, may or may not work on other devices, but tried on Samsung Galaxy S3 and it worked also (both of which are on the ICS boat):
* Pull down the notification bar. Double-tap your regular ol' analog clock on the top right. *
BOOM - World clock pop-up like the one you'd find on Android's new tablets! Somewhat irrelevant use for me, but still a new Android Easter Egg!!!!
I might be coming late to the party & I've just never heard of this, or I might of just discovered something new. But I have to give thanks to the 3 yr old who managed to make it appear and who, ultimately, managed to make my jaw drop... SMH kids these days
G'day or night

Cool wil ltry it out if i get the tablet,
Check out my wallpapers too
Nice job - looks awesome.
I wonder, would it be possible to get it at 100% size? At the moment the screen seems to be about 1280x800px, but it would be great to be able to take a screenshot from the real Nexus 10 and be able to drop it in at 100% (i.e. 2560x1600px).
Soon maybe

How dows this work? Do I just load in Photoshop and add backgrounds/icons to see how a final theme would look?
This works in such a way that you can insert your screenshots within the phone or you can display your own app's screenshots. It looks pretty decent.

Leaked Screenshots Suggest Samsung May Be Considering A Flatter, Artsier TouchWiz UI...
I believe this could happen, well maybe, just look at TouchWiz on the Note PRO tablets announced yesterday at CES2014 TouchWiz is flat and magazine style.
