Hi.
I have a Photon with unlocked bootloader and with custom ROM (sprint version). I was using it with Airtel GSM in India. Now I shifted to US and its not showing any available network in US. I have selected Network mode as Automatic, still no luck.
Do I need to Change the radio to USA Band. Can someone tell me what is that ?

I know the us version is unlocked but is there a website or place you can get a unlocked one

Yes, you want the Motorola ELECTRIFY.
Same hardware as the Photon, except that it's an unlocked CDMA/GSM phone (no WiMax however).
It supports: CDMA 800/1900, WCDMA 850/1900/2100, GSM 850/900/1800/1900.

The only carrier lock in place for the photon is on Domestic GSM (Those used for AT&T and T-Mobile) The photon is fully unlocked for international use. I believe there is also a Japanese version of the photon but I am unfamiliar with what radios it has or if there are any locks in place but it might be worth checking out if you are looking for domestic GSM unlocked.
Are you guys referring to the bootloader?
No to the domestic GSM tower lock

Yes right now I'm with bell and want to use on MobiliCity
Unlocked phone will have no issues, unless they use different frequencies for 3g, you will also get 3g data.

Mobilicity's network was built in 2009 and currently maintained by Ericsson. The company also has a cell-site sharing agreement with Bell Mobility to share cell tower space in all Mobilicity zones. The network uses the UMTS IV frequency band, also known as AWS, to provide UMTS (with HSPA) service. Using this band, user equipment transmits at 1710–1755 MHz, and receives at 2110–2155 MHz. AWS is the same frequency as Wind Mobile and Videotron in Canada and T-Mobile USA. Like WIND and Videotron, Mobilicity does not have a 2G, EDGE, GPRS GSM Network.
Mobilicity's network is compatible with the same handsets and devices as Wind Mobile and Videotron networks, and UMTS handsets and devices offered by T-Mobile USA.

A Bell version of the SGS2 (aka GT-I9100M) will be able to connect to Mobilicity if it's SIM unlocked, but since it doesn't support the 1700/2100 bands, it will only allow 2G data speeds, if you want faster speeds you'll need the T-Mobile version of the SGS2 (aka Epic 4G Touch SGH-T989).
I went to MobiliCity shop they said no way you can use bell ver on our network.
Okay now my other question can i flash talus Rom in or firmware to bell Samsung galaxy 2?

So, do you have idea which Rom works for MobiliCity?.
Thanks
I got a ATT unlocked Atrix 4G for my parents in India. In US I used it with both ATT and t-mobile and everything was fine.
In India, my Parents have BSNL SIM and Atrix does not connect to the GSM network. Also tried using Vodafone SIM and the same issue.
Can connect to Wifi and add BLUR account.
Can some one throw some ideas on fixing this.
All your time is most appreciated.
Thanks
Ravi
Check what baseband you are using ? I have AT&T Atrix and it worked fine when I went to India. Even 3G worked fine.
If it is in the USA baseband flash radio again (only if u r unlocked).
If u r not unlocked flash the correct sbf (be very very careful) and ask people before flashing.

Check baseband version from aboutphone. Which firmware are you using?

Radio is most probably stuck to US only
Well something very similar happened to me when i first brought it here to india, it got stuck to us only frequency or something check by dialing *#*#INFO*#*#.
Now if you do not intent to unlock your bootloader and use a custom rom simply plug it in to Motorola software updater and re-install the latest update from there. It fixed the issue for me and effect is similar to installing a SBF but within more secure environment.
I have a ATT Atrix bought in US working for the last 1.5 years in India. Dial the chars between quotes "*#*#4636#*#*". Then under "phone information" check if it is in USA band. If in USA band, only way out is to flash the radio if your phone is having unlocked boot loader and is rooted else you need to flash using SBF. Be very careful while doing this. Do a thorough reading in this forum about flashing radios to avoid bricking your device.
Edit: Noticed that kapilchawla has already replied.

The HTC EVO V 4G is a variant of the CDMA EVO 3D from Sprint, that is made for Virgin Mobile's network (really Sprint's) in the US. These phones are CDMA only, not GSM, and therefore do not use a SIM card. If your plan is to use this phone on a GSM network in India, you cannot, sorry.

Can it be unlocked to use on any CDMA network in India like reliance TATA or MTS BECAUSE I have heard virgin mobile is not popular in India and they are not providing service in all parts of India.
Thanks

It's not a matter of unlocking, but you can flash or re-provision it. There are users on here that use the CDMA on Reliant, but I don't know how to do it. Google will have to be your friend on that one.
I have the Verizon Galaxy S 5 and and I would like to switch it to a T-Mobile ROM. The hardware is the same so it doesn't matter what T-Mobile ROM I choose does it?
I apologize for the noob question but I didn't see an answer on this fine forum. Thanks!
Hardware is not the same. Two different technologies cdma vs gsm. Verizon phone should be able to accept tmobile sim when unlocked. They usually work with foreign sims without problem but they are locked for domestic (US) carriers. Maybe someone have some info how to unlock it for US providers.

Verizon S5 is already unlocked for US carriers by default and it will connect to T-Mobile on LTE Band 4 network and their 1900Mhz 3G/4G network. No AWS support.
The issue is the locked boot loader. Flashing a custom ROM is not possible. So no VoLTE or WiFi calling.
