Is there a radio app (free or pay) that is working with any Cyanogenmod on p760? I mean a true radio receiver, not IP based.

Well I'd sure like to know where it is cause I don't have a radio in my P769. Also couldn't find any specific info on the P760, so I assumed it was the same.

P760 and P768 have FM radio app in stock firmware, we have FM receiver and it works. But to make FM radio work on non-stock, it require more than FM app. My old P500 have working FM on CM and I wonder how dev did it.

Lately there has been some new AOSP Roms coming out and was interested if anyone knew of the best alternative for the Stock Sense FM Radio. ( Or radio that specifically uses your local area to listen to local stations)
Any help / advice/ suggestions regarding a replacement would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx in advance for your advice.

TuneinRadio Pro doesn't use the FM antenna, but it absolutely pulls in every FM and AM station in your area....and the rest of the planet, which is nice. Wanna check out what the AM scene in Antarctica is like?
Who wouldn't?

Hello LG L9 forums!
I made a little hotfix package for all 4.2.2 roms!
What it does:
-Fixes all the audio issues related to headphones volume, echo while talking etc. (switched to stock audio hals)
-Fixed NFC bug - now you can disable it without problems
-Disabled 1080p in camera until fixed in kernel tree.
I will get my AOSP 4.2.2 to run on my new device so I could focus on fixing other issues.

Is this patch working really? Are Speakers loud enough at least like Stock?
When I flashed CM10.1 (21Mar) I found very low volume in all three (BT Headset, VoiceCall and Speakers) without patch
Yes they are like on stock rom.

Can we add USB otg with just a module? Doesn't it requires a different hardware?
It would be amazing

It requires a kernel mod and a external powered USB hub.
BLN and BLD would be great too, but it's not very important (Phone call's echo is soooo bad).
I tried in AOKP and it gave me a problem: the phone was no longer able to reach 3g or edge connection

Jackpot didn't add the support for the si4709 drivers which is the fm radio chip one. This is why it's not working.

Just so you know, this problem is not limited to the yp-g70 on pacman, i\t also affects the yp-g1 on pacman, cyanogenmod, and aokp. I bet that the same applys to the yp-g70 variants of those roms as well.

FM radio do work with the YP-G1 on CM10 and pacman. Maybe you can't hear anything because digital audio is set instead of analog. The digital issue is fixed and you can listen to digital in PAC, CM will follow in the next preview build.
i cant access them. how do you get to them?

Hmm in spirit go to settings, audio, method = Galaxy S ALSA/ICS.
Im am interested in this as well I just updated to the latest PAC (6/24 build) and changed the settings to what you listed above zaclimon but I dont hear anything either weird.
Also zaclimon did you happen to purchase the full version of SpiritFM already if so I had a question is it possible you could test something for me? Does the record function work with our device?
Thanks

Hmm depends on if you have the 4.0 (seems so). And yes I have the full version and I do confirm that recording works. However it works only if you're on digital mode which I'm running. You should be able to listen if you have pac running to your 4.0. (don't forget your headphones plugged in)

You won't get audio working. As I've said on the second post, any devs of the 5.0 didn't added support for the fm radio drivers.

Just wanted to post for anyone else who may be trying to find this information as of this post SpiritFM (2013_8_12) works with the YP-G70 (5.0) if you use the option under Audio > Method then Galaxy SL/i9003 and FM radio should work. This has been tested so far with the 10.2 ROMS and Sultan Kernel.
Hope this helps

Sorry to quote you on a old thread but didnt want to start a new one. I noticed here that you were able to get the Digital audio work hence also the Recording function on the 4.0 did you have to do anything in addition than adding the Radio drivers in the kernel to make this work? Would like to try to get this working for the 5.0 if possible. Thanks again
Well I just needed to add this line to the init script:
mount debugfs /sys/kernel/debug /sys/kernel/debug
The reason for it is because Spirit searches for this component: /sys/kernel/debug/asoc/smdkc110/wm8994-samsung-codec.4-001a/codec_reg
If it can get it, it can decode digital fm, if not, you won't listen a thing. The problem with your device is you don't have the wm8994 codec so I don't know if it will ever work on your device.
Hope it helps!!

I was also able to get this working with the settings above, just an observation when I left the Audio -> Method at automatically it worked when using the speakers in the back but didn't for headphones. However setting the setting for Galaxy SL/i9003 allows both the speakers and the headphones to work on my U.S. device running the R6 sultan kernel.
