Hi folks,
I was running Cyanogenmod 10.2 stable and decided to install the latest nightly (11.12) and the rom downloaded fine and then I went into reboot mode to install the rom. It got part way into the installation and failed. Now I am stuck permanently in recovery mode. I cannot enable usb debugging because I can't boot. I have tried to see if I can get the phone to recognise to use ADB with it and that won't work.
Is there anything I can do to revive my phone? something with a step by step guide would be wonderful!
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi everybody,
hope one of you can help me. cause i have no idea, what else i can do.
my problem is following:
i installed TWRP into my new ZUK Z1 to root it. than i wanted to install the CM nightlies on my phone and so i installed CWN. and than everything went wrong. first i made a backup of my system on CWN. and than i tried to install nightlies ROM and i got a error
"This package is for device: Z1; this device is jfltexx"
E: Error in /data/media/0/roms/cm-12.1-20151113-NIGHTLY-ham.zip
(Satus 7)
Installation aborted
than i thought i should restore my backup. and since than i have only a loop in the boot animation. i cant enter the COS.
even when i try to connect to my phone under windows 7 via adb i have a problem, cause even windows 7 thinks now, that my ZUK Z1 is a samsung (jfltexx is a samsung device)
so i thought i should give it a try in linux. in linux adb find my device but i cant enter fastboot to flash twrp back or the old system recovery.
what can i do now? cause i can enter CWN, i can use adb sideload but also adb push, but nothing else. is there any possiblity to install the twrp via CWN (cause i cant use fastboot).
hope you can help me, cause i need that phone soon
thx and greetings from vienna
I was running CM12 and everything was fine. I received a notification to update to CM 13 and I selected yes. It installed OK, but no GAPPS. I tried everything I could think of to install GAPPS, and kept getting errors. IN my frustrated efforts, something happened to my TWRP and now I only have CM Recovery. I'm trying to reinstall TWRP but my phone is being recognized as a "Marshall London Bootloader Interface" ONLY when in the Fastboot and Recovery mode. I have Huawei Hisuite installed and it recognizes the phone fine when powered on, but as soon as I boot into Fastboot and Rescue mode, it reverts to the MLB interface. I am at my wits end as to how to get my PC to recognize my phone properly when in Fastboot and recovery. I did try removing and reinstalling drivers when in Fastboot, but the Marshall Interface keeps on getting inserted. Any suggestions?????? (I also seem to have erased the SD card that has my original system backup files on it. I tried to flash several downloaded stock ROMs using CM recovery, but they all error out. )
I was finally able to re load TWRP using the Huawei Hi Suite. I flashed Carbon ROM and GAPPS and everything seems to be OK but I still cannot use ADB because the phone is recognized by Windows as a Marshall device ONLY when in bootloader mode and ADB does not find the device. When I connect normally it is recognized as a Mate 2 and it connects normally to Hi Suite. I have no idea what could be wrong, but I have read of other people who have this mysterious "Marshall" device show only up when in bootloader mode. Anyone have any ideas????? Can I go back to stock from here if I don't have a saved recovery image to see if I can fix this???
I have no idea what Marshall device means. Is it possible to place the stock 5.1 ROM on a blank micro SD card and follow the flashing instructions? (boot to download mode or whatever it's called)

I explained what "Marshall Device" is in the first post. I ended up going back to stock (322) and loosing root. I then updated to 5.1 using the SD card. Everything seems to be working OK. Maybe I'll root again and start over when I have more time.
Hey guys I flashed my i9300 with cm13 and GApps, but i didint want the cwm so i decided to flash twrp recovery. When I rebooted the phone, it was stuck at download mode. Can anyone help me? Can anyone give me the link for the firmware? And if there is a firmware my pc can't detect the phone. Tried samsung drivers already.
Please I need a step by step procedure to get out of softbrick.
Try with turn off your device reboot to recovery reset everything and reboot if not and your still on download mod update drivers using Samsung kies and here is firmware list (pls filter your country) http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-I9300/
Device:
Lenovo A916. (I don't think that matters for this isue though)
Issue:
Since the one and only firmware lenovo released was kitkat 4.4.1, i wanted to update to 5.1.
Rooted phone, managed to install TWRP, flashed to lollipop 5.1, so far so good. But had some problems with the custom ROM (no SIM detected), so i decided to download a stock ROM recovery and installed it.
When rebooted device i was stuck on CWM and custom rom installations give me errors and can't access USB storage on PC.
When i try to install a custom rom i get a no file_contexts warning and it fails.
Is there a way to fix this (maybe enter again to TWRP so i can flash a rom again? i don't know) or is my phone ruined forever? It was on USB debug mode, if that helps.
For some weird reason, it turns on by itself when connected via USB cable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Guys, in need of desperate help here!
I've heard my friends joking that girls are not good with tech so I decided to prove them wrong by flashing a custom ROM on my newly acquired Vernee Apollo phone. Well, that ended badly - I succeeded rooting it and installing SuperSU, but I bricked it when I tried flashing a ROM so now when I turn it on it stays on the Vernee logo.
I suppose I have to open TWRP recovery and reset my phone with the backup I created earlier but I can't access it - I can only access Recovery Mode and FastBoot Mode
In FastBoot mode I try to connect the phone to my PC and get to TWRP but adb doesn't find my device anymore...
And In Recovery mode, when I try to flash the ROM, it using 'Apply update from SD card' it says 'Opening update package...' and right after that 'Installation aborted' (and my battery is almost full).
Any help is appreciated! <3
