they push it out in stages, basically blocks of customers at a time. Patience. its coming.
I haven't gotten it either. Its coming though
Lol... It better be. I'm just so impatient for updates, but far too scared to root and install custom Rom while being locked into a two year contract and risk ruining my device and having to spend a bunch of money! D: but yeah... Ill be waiting. And checking every five minutes. Haha

I've already rooted/unlocked my phone, and I'm running the base ROM. Is it safe to install this update? I haven't seen anyone mention it, so I'm thinking it's probably alright. However, I figured it would be safer to ask anyway, given the "do not allow any OTAs to install without asking if they are compatible" warning in the FreeGee thread .

The prevention of Dev Unlock is totally on HTC. Unless AT&T is pushing a new Hboot, which MIGHT block it, but it is easier for AT&T to contact HTC and tell them to block the AT&T phones from the procedure.
Yeah you're right I was a little paranoid because I didn't want another HTC One X situation. I rooted and rommed my other One but haven't done this one so I guess I can just test it out and see what happens. And btw, do you know what the current hboot is right now?

I just really hope it doesn't prevent any of my rooting or romming capabilities. What I will do is try it out after work tonight at let you know if I can still unlock bootloader and root. I'll post back when my update is done. I just started it about one minute ago. I never rooted my G2, so I'm not really concerned about it bricking. It does say on my screen that it is currently updating software 1/2, so it appears that the update is two files.

I'm surprised they are even still updating the phone its beyond a year and usually Verizon stops so we are forced to buy the latest and greatest device, unless you unlock and flash custom roms.

Lucky. I asked him why the DNA got pushed back to "integration" no response
Checking his feed for news or responses and Verizon was the second to approve the One update. Now for HTC to make the DNA 4.4 that can go through approval... Which by history, I'd say might never happen given the age of the device compared to the One.
