can anyone unlcok 800's locked bootloader

please someone unlock bootloader do something work on this please
and please sorry for my thread
As much as i agree with your plead, forumtiquette dictates that thou shall not create threads on such subjects as there are enough of them already created, and pretty active. In other words, run before they come and get you.
this thread is also important becouse the problem is locked bootloader and i think it needs a single thread
i dont have anything to run
This thread is simply ridiculous! If I were a dev on the unlock bootloader project for the Lumia 800, I'd consider quitting the thing. You are suggesting in your thread title that nothing is been done at this moment. Some people are working hard on the bootloader. Please just be patient, and don't ask to "do something", because they really do!
i understood but it would be better to post news here

Believe me, if we unlocked it one day, there will be guides all around for you to explain what you should do

After an intense examination of this thread, it has been determined that it does not contain development, thus does not belong in development. We are moving it for you, but please make sure you post correctly next time.

[Xperia U] Camera flash issue

Hi Guys
I purchased an Xperia U yesterday and when I took it home and played around with it I found a major flaw with the camera flash.
Basically any time I take a photo with flash the photo comes out as fully washed out / over exposed and almost "white". It is fine when flash is turned off though.
I took it back to the store I bought it on and we tried another one and it had the same issue. So I returned it.
Not sure if it is a design flaw or a bad batch?
there is plastic cover on the camera which has to be removed after opening the battery cover. i had the same issue and fortunately i saw this thin plastic. weird that it is in the battery cover though.
regards
ankjain
On the camera lens or on the LED flash? I don't think i saw one there and the problem only happened when flash is used - are you sure you are referring to same thing? Anyway too late I returned the phone already on Sunday.
on both the led and the camera and the quality will go up alot.

HTC DNA post OTA update bootloader unlock

Hello all, sorry if this is a redundant thread, however I have been searching and haven't found anything in regards to unlocking the bootloader after big red's update. If there's a thread addressing that, I'm sorry, I just haven't come across it. It's been a few months since the update, and ( not to pressure anyone here, but I've usually seen work arounds for things like that by now lol ) ) don't get me wrong, mad props to you guys who figure this stuff out and making like easier for noobs like me :good:

It hasn't been done. This should also be in Q&A or General not Android development.
This has been answered dozens of time someone plz lock the thread

Send your phone off to have it it unlocked and s off with JTAG process.
For all those people who complain about the 10 post rule, this thread is the reason it's there.
Nothing personal against the OP, he's not a 1 post member, this was just a good example, imagine how Many of these there would be if the first post could be made in here.

and I thought it was time to collect the bounty after reading the title
Thread moved to Q&A and subsequently closed, as question has been answered.
Please do not start a thread in dev forum unless you are actually releasing something.

[Q] SIM Unlock

hey guys, I have a question : i have a galaxy s2 phone bought from france, but now i'm in lebanon and i need to use it with a lebanese sim card. the problem is that lebanese cell companies have restricted the use of cell phones that do not have their imei registrated with their companies. Is there a way i could unlock my phone to work with a lebanese sim ? Or should i say unlock the sim ?
I am very confused, if someone could explain to me how this lock works and how to get my phone working in lebanon. Thank you very much in advance !!
Based on your description of the issue, it sounds like you can't do much (or anything) on your end of things... If the carrier requires an IMEI registration, it wouldn't matter whether your phone is unlocked or not, since the carrier still needs to recognize your IMEI. I don't know how the process works, but I would guess you'll need to talk to the carrier about having your phone "registered".
I have to say, their policy is quite retarded, if that's true...
Are you serious?
There is clearly a [Q] here, so don't you think that Q&A is the appropriate subforum?!
Also you when you categorized your thread as a question thread, you probably got a popup message stating that you're about to break forum rules by posting the thread in the wrong subforum, but you still went on and posted it here anyway.
Not to mention that there's a sticky thread on top of this subforum saying that this, what you have done, is against forum rules.
Thread reported.

Okay, first of all, let me just state that this post was, before i reported it, in the Galaxy S II General subforum.
Second, just because my join date is recent doesnt mean im a complete idiot that can't read rules and start my period on new forums by breaking rules, there are plenty of people out there who knows to read rules before entering a forum..
Also, how is this flaming?! Please explain.
I was simply telling this member that he was breaking forum rules, maybe a bit harsh or not, since you get several warnins in several ways if you're about to break forum rules.
At least it was a more interesting problem than the usual repetetive tripe that appears on here.
Ive not heard of the OP's problem before.
Correct, having a recent join date doesn't mean you're an idiot, that's not what I said. Thanks for reading the forum rules, not many do. Flaming is verbally attacking someone, so technically, maybe you could class it as not flaming. Either way, it's a harsh way to enter a forum with that kind of greeting. True the OP may have posted in the incorrect section, but next time there's no need to be harsh about it. Apologies if I've over-reacted. End of discussion on my part, this isn't helping anyone.

I could understand that he bypassed sticky threads, or the he/she didn't actually read rules of posting. But i couldn't understand how he bypassed a popup warning that appears if you post a question in wrong subforum. So that's what got me angry.
But maybe i overreacted too, you cant expect anyone to know everything, even if you know that everything has some forms of rules, which you clearly should know about, otherwise there wouldn't be any rules
well i dont either want this to be an unrelated discussion, so i'll just say Im sorry for overreacting. To you Hopper and to OP (if he/she will even read this )

General xiaomi mi 11 lite scam

so basically xiaomi is scamming it's cutomers. the mi 11 lite comes in two different variants one with a diamond shaped pixels screen which is sharp and good and one with an rgb delta screen which i have right now not only it looks very blurry and cheap
it causes headches and eye strain which can be very harmfull
they randomly ship units with the different screen variants basically it's a lottery for customers where you can get your hands on a good or bad one
good job xiaomi now i have to throw this worthless piece in the toilet where it belongs
this Applies to both the 5g and 4g versions
You know, there is already a thread about this? And you don't have to waste money and throw it in the toilet. You can claim it and give it back.
This phone is not worthless just because of different screens. I can't understand people that let out their frustrations in forums like this one.
Anyways, I hope you find a better phone for you.
Have a nice day.
