Hi!
I purchased a battery with a capacity 3500mah. Here is the link to the battery
http://www.ebay.com/itm/181213511614?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
I was wrong with dimensions. Battery proved much wider. Controller battery I used from the original battery. It was very difficult to insert the battery into the reader. Across the width of the battery hinder in the details on the board. I'm remove the plastic on the back cover.
Can see a few photos.

Good mod, I want to do the same too. How is the improvement of the battery life? it is hard to put the back cover back on?

It is necessary to use a different battery. Life expectancy has increased, but now I rarely use the book.

I did a search and couldn't find anything. Does anyone know what the largest size battery that will fit with the standard door is?
I too am wondering the same thing.
There is currently no other higher capacity batteries out there to worry about, so who cares?

Saw this response, opened new tab, Google searched: htc thunderbolt battery

I have no idea where you get your info but Google is your friend 100% of the time.
As far as stock door + bigger battery, I can safely assume it won't work simply due to the VERY limited room with the door on as it is with the stock battery.
1650 the mytouch 4g battery is the biggest that will fit in the standard door. Don't hold me 100% to that but that's generally what i've seen.
I'll have to check out the 1650 battery, thanks for the replies guys
Does my battery stats file become "misconfigured" or uncalibrated whenever I switch batteries?
I buy extra batteries to use when i'm getting low, and I like to switch them out. All including different mAh's (1000, 1700, 3500).
If so will I lose battery life? I am trying to figure why my battery is running low, had the tiamat kernel and it was beautiful with some issues though, and now i'm running bcblend and my battery is dead after 6 hours.
Switching batteries throws calibration off.

So is there any alternative to using multiple batteries and the phone holding the ideal charge?

Try a battery calibration app for root users.. The downside is... Well... You have to be rooted. This is just a suggestion but you could also buy a 4000mAh Seidio battery.. Downside is... Your phone will be super thick.
It's your call.

Thanks, I have the battery calibration app, but I think I have to fully charge and discharge the phone to get the best results....sign. Ok, just wondering.
I've been highly tempted to get the 4000mAh battery, the extra size doesn't bother me necessarily but I love my case, and I'd have to dish out for the battery, a new case (to hold the larger phone), and then probably get a phone clip in case the phone is uncomfortable in my pocket.
I bought a 3500mAh battery off ebay for like $12, but there is no case for it =/
Hi there, i know there are people saying that the extended battery pack will not fit into vehicle dock and power pack.
so, my question is, if i place in the extended battery to my phone without the back case that comes along with the purchase, along with the vehicle dock or power pack, will it fit?
as for now, the power pack of mine doesn't give much juice =(
I would recomend you use Anker's 1900mAh battery instead, you can find it in Amazon and it's not very expensive.
The good thing about this battery is that having more capacity than the stock one, fits perfectly and you don't need to change the back case with another one more bulkier, so the phone will fit in all the docks.
Thanks for your reply! but i'm afraid the anker battery will explode as one of the forumers had experienced it before =D
how is your experience with the battery? can last additional few hours compared to stock's 1650 battery?

LOL! Does this battery realy explode?
In my experience the battery is performing great. With stock I got around one day of charge, carefully managing the phone to not waste any battery (perhaps not so exagerated, but more or less). With Anker I get around 1 day and a half with the same use or even 2 if I don't play a lot with the phone...
yup, as you can see the picture from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1361749
it doesn't really explode =D, just burnt marks on the battery connector.
Alright, i'll consider your advice!=)
hi
i have the 2000mh batterie with new backcover.this makes the phone 1 millimeter thicker.
i have the original samsung car dock.
this dock has a square peace of plastic in the middle, which( funny isnt it?) is exactly one millimeter thicker then the rest of the dock.
you can easily pull out this square plastic thing with a small screw driver.
after this, the phone fits perfectly into the dock, just as if it was designed for this.
i guess the bigger batterie was planed from the beginning on from samsung.and so is the dock to fit the bigger batterie.
cheers

wow, thanks for your reply, but if i buy the extended battery pack, my current power pack would be left idle, so i'm thinking 'the best of both world' solution, guess i have to put my power pack away and give this extended battery a try =D how was the extended battery life performance?
the battery has a fifth more capacity then the stock, and thats what it lasts longer then the stock too:around a fifth longer.Same other way around:charging takes a fifth longer too .
cheers
I am in search of a new battery and I came across a 3000 mAH battery that doesn't require an extended battery case. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with it:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-7v-BH6X-R...cement-For-Motorola-MB860-ME860-/271036164752
http://www.amazon.com/3000mAh-Rechargeable-Battery-Replacement-Motorola/dp/B008VO07AA
From reading, it seems like you have to calibrate the Atrix to understand the new battery through a couple charges and configuration changes; cool. I am wondering if anyone has had experience with THIS battery? Is it legit?

It's the same size at the standard battery
It's double the capacity
It costs $1.16
If it's too good to be true...

Well in e-bay I buy this battery http://www.ebay.com/itm/2430MAH-HIG...844826?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3f1e183dda and it was quiet good for one day, after one day it was dead the battery board was dead and I replace it whit old battery board so I don't think it is real.
I think the picture says it all. Not quite sure why someone would even bother considering a battery with such almost offensively unrealistic specs.
To store more current, the battery has to be physically bigger. It's why "D" cell batteries are bigger than "A" cell batteries even though they have the same voltage output.
Think of current as water. Can you fit more water in a bucket if it's the same size as the one you have?

I had bad experience with several extended batteries from ebay. I always prefer to buy an extra regular battery instead of having an extended battery.
Hey guys, I have ordered an Extra Original Battery (internal) with NFC for Note n9005. But I rarely use that battery, any way / tips to preserve that battery so that its life does not degrade not using it? (Batteries degrade over time even if not used, may also leak)
I'll be probably using that battery after 4-6 months.
I heard putting the battery in a sealed pouch and storing it in Freezer causes minimal degradation over time, but I am skeptical about it.
Any thoughts?

That actually will degrade the battery. It's best to seal it and keep it at room temperature.
Just swap it out in your phone once in a while.

Exactly that. It needs to be exercised or it will degrade. But if you don't want to swap it here and there, keep it charged at about 40% and do not expose it to low temperatures, freezer/cooler is very bad idea.

Store them at about 65% capacity in a cool dry place.
Thank you for your inputs!
