hey guys i have an samsung galaxy s3 i999v but i dont see a forum on xda for that type i wanna root this phone so i can flash costom roms etc ,its on 4.1.2 so can someone please help me out on my first step

Just follow the instructions in this thread... since you mentioned you are having a Indian SGS II it should be running the XWKE8 kernel so use file that corresponds to your kernel.

Please read the Q&A forum , before raise your question in thread . If you flash i9100 ,, your mobile will bricked ..its very difficult to recovery.
Both mobiles are looks same , but hardware wise completely different. Please stay away from I9100.
You can fine some ROM for I 9100G in developer forum, you can easily identified with thread heading "only for I9100G "

but during wiping , device going held .nothing doing next . please help .

Not in the right section but....
Usually with custom ROMS you cant update your phone. Before any ROM install you should have made a Backup of the stock ROM. If you didn't, go to sammobile.com and search for your stock firmware. Keeping in mind of your location and everything.
After that flash through ODIN.

Hey DIESEL ,
First of all... its really not necessary to downgrade back to Gingerbread :/
And By the way I9100G has already 4.1.2 updates available... then why not upgrade to 4.1.2?
