If you bricked your device obviously you cant go into Recovery mode ..
I think you used wrong combi for going into download mode
Again check by Going into Download mode (Volume up+volume down+power button).
Now flash stock rom via ODIN .. Anyway dont panic buddy

Hello my friend,
nothing with this combination.I see only black screen who say "samsung galaxy ace s5830i"

open odin
remove battery. press the volume+ and volume- keys.
connect usb to pc while holding the keys
if necessary then press the power key
you will get a blank screen
now press the volume+ key
odin will recognise your device
if you want the download mode screen back then use the bootloader file while installing via odin
and try odin flashing again

Hey!
The black screen you see is the download mode! Again press the volume up and connect it to the system with ODIN running! It will recognise your device! Then flash the stock rom! Hope it will be helpful!
Hit thanks if helped!

I am getting the exact same screen...cant get it to recovery or download mode.
its not bricked, I had this many times while pulling the usb or battery while in odin. Plug in the usb and press and hold vol up and down and power. When the screen goes black let go of power while continuing to hold vol up and down. Should bring you back to download mode
I was able to get it into download mode and flash the rom. Thanks

How'd you get it to flash? I got that same screen but in ODIN it just sits at cache.rfs... nothing good happening after that. It is basically frozen.

OMG I finally got it. I had to leave ODIN open after it stuck at file analysis. I then took out the battery of the phone and put it back into download mode. I click start in ODIN and thankfully... she's flashing back to stock 2.1. I had tried a million different ways... ODIN is not exceptionally stable. No bueno. I think I'm going to keep the stock Kernal cause this was scary... lol.

I had the same problem.
What you have to do is run Odin with the usb connected to the phone, then you unplug and plug the usb back in, hold the vol - and + with the power button at the same time, once the screen goes black, release the power button, but keep holding the vol - and + buttons and Odin will recognize your phone. then the phone will be at the downloading screen
That's how it worked for me.
What did you do to get your phone in this state? Try to root ??

Only suggestion I can give is to keep trying, that's how I got my phone out of that dreaded state in the OP's pic.
Man I'm in the same boat. I tried the key combination many times before this. I was flashed bionix 1.2 w/OC and was using ROM Manager to revert back to my previous ROM which was stock and when it was done it rebooted and would stay stuck with the Samsung Vibrant screen. I ended upsing ADB to get it into download mode and the other modes but I tried to use ODIN to restore after it was in download mode and it just seemed stuck. How long does it take to usually load the kernel? Well it was taking so long so I just pulled the USB plug. After I did this I got that cellphone and computer icon. I've tried many times to get it into download mode or restore mode many times with the volume button and power button and haven't had any luck at all. I'll keep trying. I hope this really works.
I have tried every combo mentioned and a few others along with every button combination, I read it has to do with what rom you were using before the phone -> computer icon. I came from bionix 1.3, I would love any help to get this thing fixed before my wife finds out...
This happened to me earlier today instead pull the battery out and usb then put the battery back in open odin attatch the usb to the computer and then hold down volume up and volume down while plugging the usb to the phone finally and it worked might take a few tries and if odin doesn't recognize the phone unplug the usb and plug it back in if it's already in dl mode
if ur device is hardware locked, ur as well as bricked at this point, i cant get mine out
An easier way to get to download mode that I have been using. Have Odin open. Turn off the phone. Hold volume up and plug in the USB. Goes straight into download mode for me every time. Not sure if this will work with the hardware locked phones (I don't have a hardware locked phone - got it on launch day).

Old thread, I know. Just my 2 cents. I only found this to be true of Odin v1.0 since v1.3 seems quite stable.
If your using odin and it hangs during flashing never pull the usb always pull the battery out first then the cable the phone will stay on when you pull the batterycuz the usb is giving it power but once the usb is pulled the phone is off and you won't be stuck with the dreaded phone ! Computer screen.

Open odin in pc.remove the battery and re insert it.press volume up,down and power button together.the icon(icon indicating pc and phone) will disappear in a while.now unpress the power button while holding volume up and down together.phone should get in to download mode ..now you can odin back to jfd.
If the phone does not get into download mode by this method remove your batter.connect the phone to the pc.while holding the volume up and down buttons together re insert the battery.then the phone should go into the download mode.then you can coding back to jfd.good luck.

FYI - This happened to me and you can get it into download mode but it might not show the actual download screen. As soon as you plug it in you'll get the confirmation from ODIN that it is connected.

yes, if you have CWM installed:
open cwm manager > under reboot choose Download mode > use odin to flash official firmware
If you are rooted you can use button savior on the play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smart.swkey
It will give you a virtual home button

if you still want to flash official firmware, the third option will be a "usb jig"

Buy a USB jig. Its a dongle which, when plugged into the phone, forces your phone into download mode. From there you can flash any official firmware (via Odin) for your model. You don't need root permissions for it.

OdinOdin is a piece of software that allows us to flash anything we want to the phone. The file is attached to the bottom of this post.
It is perfectly safe IF USED CORRECTLY!
This is a general guide for using Odin, take a look at this picture (thanks to screamworks):
To get Odin to connect to your phone, you need to boot into 'download mode' by pressing volume down, home, and power keys at the same time, and connect your phone to your PC via USB.

1. Just download the firmware version you want
2. Reboot your phone to download mode.
To get download mode shut down the device. After it shuts off completely simultaneously press the Down volume key+ Home button + press the power button .
You should see a warning asking you to press volume up if you want to continue or volume down to cancel, press volume up. You are now in download mode!
3. Start Odin
4. Click on the PDA button and browse to the .tar or .tar.md5 file that you extracted in step 1
If the package has more than one .tar archive then they will be labelled with PDA, Phone/Modem and CSC. Just put them in the corresponding section of Odin
5. DO NOT PUT .PIT FILE AND DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT TICK REPARTITION.
Anyone ask about .pit file is a moron
Should look like this screenshot

If the package has 3 files it should look like this:
Regardless of firmware version it's still the same methodology
6. Connect the USB cable and wait for the ID:COM section to turn yellow
7. Click start to flash
8. Do not disconnect the cable or turn off the device, it will reboot when it finishes.
It will not wipe your phone if you flash as recommended

Yes you have to press up key. It will take you to download mode.
Also you will need Samsung drivers. You can either get them as a standalone drivers package
or

It is rooted now, with philz kernel.
Yes it will turn on (personal experience)
For triangle you can use "triangle away" app after flashing the rom.

This is my fixing problems
( download official lastest rom from samsung and prepare odin)
Just let the phone boot into lineage rom
Turn on developers option
Turn on usb debugging
Then connect phone with pc
Open adb
Type adb devices
Allow pc connect to device then type adb reboot download
Then the phone will boot to download mode
Flash rom via odin- done
The problem is the phone continue rebooting I can't enter the system or recovery or download mode

That's odd. Try to hold volume down+ bixby+ power button and release. It may boot into lineage.
Nothing is working it keeps on booting again and again and stuck in the logo screen can't enter bootloader or lineage os stuck in middle anyone help

Try this.
1. Open up Odin in your PC, make sure you got the USB drivers installed too.
2. Connect your phone with the cable.
3. Hold Vol Down + Power, to cold reboot.
4. As soon as it reboots, QUICKLU HOLD Vol Down + Bixby + Power button.
I've locked myself on the Kernel issue when changing CSC, and found out that this was the only way i could get in to Download Mode. It wont go inside if the cable is not connected to the PC and Odin isn't up.
It can be tricky to find that perfect moment for pressing the buttons, so dont give up easily.
If you notice no luck, Repeat the same process, but make the cable ready but dont connect it, cold-reboot and as soon as it reboots, connect the cable and do the download mode button layout.

ANYONE THERE TO HELP PHONE IS BOOTLOOPING CAN'T ENTER DOWNLOAD MODE OR RECOVERY MODE ANY OTHER WAY TO ENTER DOWNLOAD MODE AND I HAVE ALSO TRIED Samsung 300K Tool THIS IS ALSO NOT WORKING
Any help out there
Can't you just flash official rom from the screen you show in the first post? It doesn't necessarily need to boot into proper download mode to flash official rom. I mean your phone cannot boot into download mode, so just try to flash the rom from the screen.
hello everyone, i have a technical question. is it possible to root lineage 18.1 (android 11) only by operating on a working system ?? (something like kingoroot) ... after gaining root, you can access the partition and load recovery again ....
I am probably the first victim of uploading this fake software, after analyzing the rom on the telegram (exynos 9810), wise heads said that after uploading the software, the lack of recovery and the download mode is a deliberate action of the perpetrator. so I think root can help, I remember that I performed a similar operation when I could not connect the tablet galaxy tab 2 to the pc, then root and upload the recovery from a working android ....
