Hello there guys!
today i will guide you how to port small apps for Sony Xperia U B.89 this port is from niaboc79 and i am only posting the tutorial coz niaboc79's small app port for sony xperia u is not working for Sony Xperia U B.89
First of all i would like to thank niaboc79 for his small app
the small app for sony xperia u port of niaboc79 is not working on my device sony xperia u b.89 (running terra rom)
but i'm happy to say that i found a solution by installing the small app port of niaboc79 for sony xperia P
here is the tutorial:
1. Download the small apps part 1 and part 2 from niaboc79 thread here
2. Download the taskswitcher.apk attached below
3. Enter your CWM and flash part 1 and wipe dalvik cache and reboot to system
4. Wait to settle until the lockscreen, now you will ask for the pin,turn off your phone if can't turn it off by the power button, remove the battery of your phone
5. Again entered CWM and flashed part 2 and reboot
5. Using root explorer app copy the Taskswitcher.apk to /system and change permissions to rw-r-r, and move it to /system/app and overwrite the existing file
6. reboot and done
EDIT: for fc of note small app just download the note widget below and move it to /system/app with permission rw-r-r-
after flashing 1st part , i m stuck on the boot looping ... sony xperia p (rooted) bootloader unlocked
stock rom jb 4.1

the apps is not my work ,i only share how i installed it on terra rom which is on b.89 ics
anyway

not really. seem like it has problem with music app don't worry, open v3 via 7zip and delete semcmusic.apk
After that flash v1 and v2 first, then reboot to system, then back to cwm and flash v3
Other bug people report that when you holding power buton it restarts the phone. I don't hace X ray to check so test by yoursefl
Anyway just make nandroid backup to return if sth happen to your phone

[ Guide for using .13 with .587 Mods ]
Hi, I announced it already... quite a few days ago...
but here is a very simple guide for making the old mods from .587 compatible with the .13 ROM found here:
4.1.B.1.13 Port by Jader13254
(xperia-arc-development)
.13 has some new java code inside framework & libs, so we need to port .587 mods...
This is nooby-easy and doesn't requiere ANY coding experience...
BUT you need to know how to use apktool & java..
You need:
Apktool
Notepad++
7zip
PC
1. Download any Mod you want...
2. Get "system\framework\framework.jar" out of the mod using 7zip & copy to C:\ [HIGHLIGHT]WARNING: If your mod has no framework.jar, no porting is needed[/HIGHLIGHT]
3. open a cmd window & type "apktool d C:\framework.jar C:\framework
4. open C:\framework
5. download this and paste inside /framework (put the files from /smali inside the /smali from the C:\framework)
6. now open a cmd window
7. type "apktool b C:\framework"
8. put C:\framework\dist\framework.jar (after built complete) back inside the .zip of your mod..
9. flash it via cwm
10. done, enjoy

He is working on the XS lockscreen and small apps port. When its ported, you can install XS lockscreen the mod and install the XZ lockscreen after without installing other mods. Be patient; this is not an easy thing to do.

Gonna change from 4.1.B.1.13 to UHD 3.0 beta ( Currently downloading UHD 3.0 beta).
Will that mod that I change, still compatible with UHD 3.0 ? *in 4.1.B.1.13, works fine.

I tried to install using lupus, gives error when trying to install. zip. Using fusion, following the steps carefully get stuck in the boot for a long time and no boot.
i think it's just a CM10 based rom with some stuff from xperia z, not a Xperia Z JB ported like you say

I got status 7 errors when flashing using lupus kernels... Doesn't the rom have a built in kernel in zip like in fxp roms?if yes use that and try installing...

Everything is told on second post, you just had to read a bit which seems to be quite difficult.

I don't get it, the only changes I see when installing your mod are Lockscreen, Wallpaper picker and SettingsUI background and some button switch changes. Well, mainly images. Is it normal? Cuz your list says..

Yes arc and neo mods are interchangeable....

IF YOU WANT TO COME ANOTHER ROM ( FOR UNLOCKED AND LOCKED BOOTLOADERS )
Make a backup via CWM and backup your personal data ( app, APN, and etc )
For arc ( LT15i ) and neo ( MT15i ) users, make sure system and data partition increased into 419 MB and 440 MB ( instruction in above )
Download this ROM in download link below and copy into SD Card
for locked BL, make sure CWM installed on your phone
for unlocked BL, flash one of recommended kernel via fastboot
Reboot into CWM
Select Factory Reset/ Wipe data ( wipe data > yes )
Select Mount and storage and Format system ( format system > yes )
Wipe cache partition ( wipe cache partition > yes )
Select Advance and wipe dalvik cache ( wipe dalvik cache > yes )
and then wipe battery stats ( wipe battery stats > yes )
Select install zip from SD card and select my zip 'Xperia Revelation HD.zip' that you downloaded on link below. then, Install it
follow anything option in AROMA
Select Install and wait for 2-3 minutes
after installation completed, untick 'Reboot device' in Aroma and Reboot via CWM
when Setup Guide appeared, Select language 'English ( United States )'
enjoy full version of my ROM and tick unknown source
IF YOU WANT TO UPDATE VIA OTA ( FOR UNLOCKED AND LOCKED BOOTLOADERS )
Backup first
Go to Settings > Advance Settings > System Updates.
Select Available updates and It will shows an new updates and select Update
Wait for 2-3 minutes and It will placed on sdcard/OTA-updater/download/Xperia Revelation HD RV.xxx.zip
Move ROM zip from sdcard/OTA-updater/download into sdcard
Boot into CWM and do a full wipe ( same as procedure in above )
After installation complete, reboot and enjoy my updated ROM

Shame you didn't relase it yesterday when I was messing with roms.
I used to test Smart Xperia long time ago and I was really pleased with performance.
I hope it will be same or even better :>

Dude i will give u .13 latest Stock FW download link if u want only just ask permission to that dev. to use his work to as ur base rom coz latest .13 FW is really better than .587 FW...If u want link just PM me

So, I must ment of .587 is very good and It's being latest Sony FW
.587 is not latest FW of Sony for 2011 Line up. .13 is latest FW for 2011 Lineup from Sony ask anyone if u dont know

So, when I checked MY ARC on PCC, There's no updates . So, I hate .13 and I'd prefer to .587
Latest FW released for some specific region even im from India & Indian user's also didnt got it but i downloaded from XDA... Why u worry if u dont get it when XDA is there for US

I'd prefer to .587 So, I never update my arc until now
in my wt19 i unlcked my bootloader successfuly
i hav rooted my cell by nabeel sir's mathod i.e by (eroot software on pc) nd got d superuser app
bt nw m totally confused how to install CWM recovery on my LWW
plz help me asap

2 ways for it:
best way: install custom kernel as all custom kernel have INCLUDED CWM. just press vol ip on boot continunesly
not-so-good way: use x-parts app from playstore OR find it in xperia arc themes&apps forum. it will install CWM on system, but if u format system (..by accident or by installing some rom) u will be f*cked up.
