Hello, i can't charge my phone in a regular charger or by the car charger anymore.
I sort of unplugged it while i was doing doing the usb data stuff and it got stuck and now, it only charges by usb through the computer. I then reflashed my rom and redid my android but still cannont charge.
Can anyone help or know why it won't charge?
I am running Chucky ROM and running android 2.2.
I sort of need to fix this problem ASAP so thank you if you can help

Im sorry the title seems vag, but here is the thing, I wanna know from anyone what the voltage is for the tablet ( Archos A101IT ) and also when its Completly dead does the charge lite come on? If not will the system start its self? Im asking because i can get one almost new without a cord but im afraid to get it because they will not take it back if it doesn't work at all ( asking 150 ) Let me know so i know what to do!
thanks.

The device could be charged with a standard 5V wall-charger.
Refering to the Archos FAQ, a current of 1A should be sufficient for charging.
You will need special 3.5mm DC adaptor-plug to connect to the device.
Personally, i use an old IPAQ wall charger (5V/2A) and soldered the DC-plug myself. Make sure you use the right polarity.
The device will charge autonomous, even if it is bricked.
So the decision is up to you if you buy it.
On my device there'd been some hardware problem i was able to fix, but i needed professional equipment to do so.
Under normal circumstances the gen8 series are hard to brick, but you never know.
The most common hardware issues are cracked screens

does every usb charger work on the s3 or do you have to have a special one? sorry if its a newbie Q, i need to buy a new one since, my last one(the one i got with the phone ) started burning. (literally)
Does anyone also know how to check if your charger is working properly? Like if a software in the android is blocking the charge etc. since i also have a problem charging the phone
I've used a lot of different cables and charges on my s3 and they worked all.
ok, thanks
I am having charging issues. This just started happening when I woke up this morning. I forget if the micro USB is supposed to click when you plug it in the phone to start to charge. When I plug my phone in, I don't get any indication that the cable is locked in. Also if I move the cable ever so slightly. The phone will stop chatging. The USB cable feels like its gonna come out if I move the phone in any way.
I don't have any spare micro USB cable so I wanted to know if you guys are think this is a hardwarw problem or possibly if just the cable is messed up. Im hoping its the latter because I am not trying to replace my phone.
Also have any of you guys had this problem? Thanks
