Whatsapp Group

Let me give it a fesh start.
Isn't it hard discussing about a topic via posting it on xda? That also increases the post count and also some important tips are left behind.... So i thought of making a whatsapp group of all our HTC Desire X users.... It will be easy discussing topics.... Anyone interested can pm me their phone number with their xda ID....
Thankyou...
I don't think so, its been discussed before and people are okay with it but rest aren't okay giving their number out to people they don't know. We already have Irc chat groups and alot of users here have each other on Facebook. Xda and whatever else is already enough.
This also belongs in Q&A section

Yeah,we could do so! But as mefistoreyon said, it would definitely kill the forum,so there is no point in killing the forum!
Still interested ppl can pm me their nos...

I don't think we need a Whatsapp group. But, like @mefistoreyon already said, it's killing the forum. Besides, we already got an IRC channel on freenode if we need to discuss things directly; the logs are online as well so everyone who wants to can read all of it to stay tuned what's going on. Creating a Whatsapp group will only get a few people involved and others won't be able to join, so we would be creating groups inside groups which isn't the right way to do things together. Just my opinion.

Stay on XDA there isn't an official Telegram Group

XDA has rules about sharing Telegram links for groups, only the respective OP of determinate thread can share the link for his group where he can give a more directly support for his work.
This topic is for the security of the XDA users.
We users from worldwide have many cultural/religion/ethnic differences but we all reunited here for the love of tech and software development as a fascinating hobby. That's what matters.
I, like other users , have been victims by the intolerance and racist behavior of strangers on Telegram
I was sharing a XDA link from a respected Developer here on XDA who built an impressive version of PE ROM... https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-9t/development/rom-pixel-experience-t4071287
And with no reason one of these troll assaults me and others with hate.
These people are just haters. I am an adult imagine this happening to a teen member of XDA...
Users, just visit the respective thread official group shared by the OP on XDA...
There isn't a Official Mi 9T/K20 telegram group .
XDA Moderators can't help/reach/protect users on telegram because it is not within the bounds of the XDA site, so keep that in mind.
Stay safe, stay at home, stay on XDA DEVELOPERS...
From the Moderator oka1
To all, the OP has a good point. The Moderators in XDA Cannot do anything outside the bounds of XDA. That is why there are rules in XDA, to establish proper and respectful behavior between all our global members, Remember we all live in different parts of the world with different cultures. So it is important we are all respectful of each other and that we treat each other with understanding. That is why we always recommend setting things up and having all communication within the bounds of XDA, to continue the development and progress with our Android phones in a proper environment.
Thanks, ~~~ Oka1
