I bought an OSO mount via Amazon after I found the EXO mount on Amazon US. It seems to be the same product. But any of these search terms will pull up a mount that is at least similar to those two. I have mine mounted on the structured plastic dash in the middle of my Smart 451 and it didn't come off yet. And I could only find bery few ratings where people were not satisfied. I got me the mount that comes with something like an extension arm and I'm glad I did. All other mounts on my screen would put the phone too far away to operate and the other mounts that go on the dashbord would place the phone right in the middle of the windscreen and blocking the view. But both, OSO and EXO have different models to chose from.

Thanks Mikegrmn
Looks good.

I'm not in the UK, but, I am using the iBolt dock and love it. It works with the entire Galaxy and Note lines. Here is the link to the Amazon UK site.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/IBXS-33603-...&ie=UTF8&qid=1387552679&sr=1-2&keywords=ibolt
I originally bought it for my S4 but am now using it with my Note3 and have docked a S3 for grins to show people.

I'm in the UK. And you're right most of the decent mounts are us made. I only buy the slip grip mounts as they take our phone whilst in a case.
Very good quality and you can buy from them through eBay.

I'd assume so. I didn't try, but from how it holds up on my structured dashboard, a screen shouldn't be a problem. I had tried it on the smoother surface on our kitchen countertop and had problems removing it
The suction cup itself is sticky. This most likely causes that it holds strong on textured surfaces. And the cup is also thicker in material than what I saw on GPS units. The only thing that is, due to the thick material is, that it acts a bit like a suspension damping. So there is a little wiggle room when you touch the device. I'm not sure if it's clear what I want to say, but it doesn't feel like screwed or welded to something. Hope this gets it better across.

Audio works through the dock port when enabling it in the Settings [Settings >> Dock Settings >> Enable sound through Dock]
Phone clips in very snug to the holder. Perhaps a little too snug as it's not easy to get the phone out with one hand.
Built in Voice Control is great! "Hi Galaxy" "Text [contact] message 'whoa this is awesome!'"

Anxiously awaiting pictures and a review, was thinking about getting this myself. I like the fact that it charges, and has a landscape mode which my current cheap plastic cell phone holder that goes on my air vent has neither.

Here is an alternative to the Samsung car mount that you might consider:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/320764561950?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
I have been using this for about a week and am thus far happy with it.
The construction feels a little flimsy but that is by design, I think, since due to its flexibility, it allows for useage with the phone in a case...which was my primary reason for buying it.
It slide locks onto a proprietary disk mount that has adhesive tape on one side for placement on your dash or other flat surface.
One downside is that there is no dedicated audio out connection...you have to use the phone's audio output. But that isn't an issue for me since I connect to my car stereo via bluetooth.
Rotates to landscape and charges the phone through a micro usb connecion at its base

that's a pretty big downside as the plugs aren't on the same side of the phone (what a weird design by Samsung)

Not weird. People prefer to have the charger cable coming out of the bottom of the phone when in portrait use (usually, the phone is above or at equal level to the charger).
However, they prefer the headphone jack to be at the top, so they don't have to flip the device over when pulling it out of their pocket.

Hi Wounded.
Got the mount this morning. All I can say is, well worth the money. It has a long flexible stem, idea for long dashboards. Twin suction cups. The part where you put your transformer is removeable, leaving just the suction cups and stem in place. Came very well packaged and fast delivery.
I will post some pics tommmorrow. Works very well with Sygic. I plug mine in via 3.5mm jack lead to stereo and wifi tethered to phone.

The above wouldn't be legal in California, due to it being attached to the front windshield.

That would be an issue here in the UK as it is in front of the heater grill and we need that grill for heating here, not air con, lol, thus it would heat up the Eeepad (not good)
Thats a good point about the heaters...but it depends where they are situated. The OP's setup would have the same issue if the vents were in the same spot.

I see what your saying here, and thought about this very issue when initially deciding where to place mine. I have now settled on a pretty central location with the base of the TF just above the display of the stereo. Vision is good, no obstructions. Having used it for a couple of days, I have now gone off the idea of using Sygic for Satnav and have changed to Co-Pilot and to be fair, seems to be working alot better. I was finding Sygic to be slightly behind when driving, not a great deal, but for a picky person like me, it was enough.

the DX one? I don't think it will hold it if you are not driving on a flat (tarmac) surface.... so I am looking for a more stable/secure one
ps why do you have your internet speed in your sig? is that high in the USA?
I got this one from ebay here.
I have tried this on most road surfaces: Tarmac, concrete, off road(I mean really bad roads). Not had a moments bother. The dual suction cup works really well. Added bonus of being able to remove the part which you put your TF in and leave the stem still attached. The stem is bendable, but stiff so not to move whilst holding the TF.
Like I said, very happy with it and worth the money imho.

THanks for the reply and link! Can you explain how the mount works, or make a photo of it without the asus in it? because it looks like there is no support on the bottom of the device? and how do you clip it in? Hope you can help me buy one
i don't think I would trust suction cups in general. Back when I had an Ipad 2 I picked up a mount that attached to the car seat. You basically loosen a bolt, and it mounts in between the bolt and the seat, you tighten it back up and that's it! After I picked up my tf I tried it out in my car and it works perfecttly. I guess I can't link yet.. but I found mine at mount guys dot com, but I've seen similar ones elsewhere.

The mount itself isn't just designed for the TF. I think it is universal. The sides are adjustable and release the TF via the switch underneath.

Standard size Car Holder for Note 3

Can anyone tell me a good cell phone holder that doesn't mount phone in front of vents and doesn't put holes in the interior. I like the cup holder versions okay. The only one I find says standard size. I did find some good brackets but I'd have to take the dash apart a plus Id like it to be portable anyway.
Any ideas would be great. Thanks for any advice.

If you have a thin case like a spigen hybrid case the stock Samsung car cradle fits just fine. You just fit in it. No case it fits with ease. With a thin case its a snug fit but it fits. Couldn't do like an otterbox it anything in it though.

No not at all, on the actual cigarette holder there's a adjustable knob that tightens it. Only weird thing is it doesn't charge on the 2 amp setting but charges very well on 1amp. Maybe it's mislabeled? Or maybe my cable.

I've been using ExoGear ExoMount car mounts for years. I have tent original version in black, and the new second version in white. They work great and allow you to use almost any device in them, as the mount is adjustable. The Note 3 in a bulky case fits without a problem, as will smaller devices. The are available in black or white.
Recently I just got my TechMatte 1 touch car mount on the mail. It is awesome and you only need one hand to get your phone locked in to it! My Note 3 with a TPU case fits in this mount great, but with a larger case it wouldn't. I like that the TechMatte mount has a small button behind where the phone sits, and to lock the phone in you just set it in place and push the phone against that button which makes the arms grab on to the phone and lock it in until you're ready to remove it. Works awesome!
The ExoGear ExoMount is about $20, but the TechMatte mount is only $7.99 from Amazon right now! I expected it to be cheaply made and not function very well considering the price. I was shocked when it arrived as it is constructed very well, has 2 places to adjust the viewing angle, and works flawlessly!! I highly recommend the TechMatte car mount if you use a TPU case or or something similiar. If you use a large case, then the ExoGear will be the best choice.

I love the Mountek. I think it is the best mount ever. The only bad thing is I just bought a Ford Flex with MyFord Touch, Nav and a 10" display, so that mount now blocks the screen. But I have no need to mount my new Note 3 since I just pair it with bluetooth, so it just sits in the center console tray now.

I'm with hznberg on this one, don't get an armband. I have one (designed for n2 originally), and I feel like a goof running with it. Get yourself a hydration belt/fanny pack. I have a nathans half marathon belt I use now, fits really snug but fits. Still looking for a suitable bluetooth set as the cord gets annoying from that length.

This is what I (and my wife with a note 2) use http://www.thegrommet.com/made-in-the-usa/flipbelt-athletic-personal-pack-all
I'm 6'3 and about 190 and I got the large size. It fits a caseless note 3 albeit pretty snug. If I had it to do over, I'd get the XL which would probably fit my cased note but Im fine taking the case off when I run. I also use a samsung bluetooth reciever that accepts a 2.5 jack so I can use whatever buds/headphones I want to plug in. Works out nicely. I put the note in a leather fanny when Im riding though because I need keys, garage opener etc.
I'm sure there are cheaper things out there but I like this

That's pretty sweet. I bought a belt clip sac that had great reviews but ended up hating it. Your option looks much more comfortable. I usually just run with my phone in my hand, lol. I use these bluetooth headphones and love them, they last long and are super easy to pair. The volume is solid too.

Thanks all! I'm going with Xaviers option, I'm not sure I trust my note 3 in a sock! I use Samsung HS3000 BT receiver which is apt-x and has a 3.5mm jack. Love it and highly recommend.

Still had a few dollar arm band from my note 2 that I purchased on Ebay. Works like a charm with blue tooth headphones its a thing of beauty.

I use this and love it. Works well and inexpensive. I think about $8
Oh and how is a phanny pack cooler or less awkward looking then an arm band. Phanny packs should stay in the 80's.

I'll just copy and paste what I put in the Zerolemon thread I imagine this would work with most large cases seeing as the ZL case is huge.
Just in case anyone has been looking for one I found an armband that actually fits with the ZL case, granted it's snug but fits great a little hard to get in at first because of the side grips but once you use it a few times it will loosen up. I searched but didn't see anyone posting about an armband for the N3 that'd fit with the ZL case everything else was for naked or slim cases. I got it for 12 bucks shipped and sent it one day shipping ups which was nice. It came with cheap pink headphones (I just gave them to my kids) they got the same with different headphones for a few bucks more. It's listed for the Galaxy Mega but is perfect for the ZL/N3 combo. Hope this helps someone!

YES... you're correct on this. I usually put it in my back pocket on my sweats. Gives me that extra nudge when I wan to stop.

I'm going to need a new car mount!

Most of the existing tablet style mounts look a bit crappy, so I'm on the look out for a mount that either adjusts at the corners, or has adjustable sides that aren't spring loaded so I can just drop it in a mount.
I doubt many places will start making mounts for such a limited release device, so post what you can find that looks like it might do the job.
This one looks like it might do the trick as it has a suction cup mount, and a "foot" to keep it stable.

I designed one for my 3d printer. Pm me and i will send you a picture. I set it up for wireless charging.
Up the thread
I'm searching for a Fold car support... without damaging it in any way.
Any help? thanks!

Hey can you share some pics and your thoughts on it?
It looks like a suction cup setup? Would love a quick video tour of it if you have time?
