i have search many site but there seems to be no solution to my problem.
i just bought a LG P500. there was no problem on my touch screen if i use my travel adapter. but if i connect my phone to a computer, the screen seems to get messed up. like when I'm typing the keyboard just automatically types another letter. please help thank you
The problem is not in the phone and power in your computer is not filtered, you probably have a damaged capacitor.
Hello all, iv recently purchased the Acer T series monitor for use with windows 8, it is absolutely wonderful and extremely responsive with 10 point touch, IPS, and 1080. I was wondering where i should even start when trying to get this to work on my Razr. It needs only HDMI and a USB cable. i tried the obvious to just plug it in and the monitor worked but the touch didn't. Can someone at least point me in a right direction or just where i could get some more information because i have found absolutely nothing. i cant believe no one has tried to hook and android device to an external USB touchscreen. This would be awesome if i could use a HDMI android stick/ RPi with this instead of my phone.

I have limited space at my place and I really cannot have another monitor hooked to my laptop 24/7. I need a solution that I can hook up when I need to edit on premiere and that I can remove when I´m not editing. I know there is a way to do this wireslessly with android tablets but it´s super slow and useless for editing. I need to know if there is any way to use an android tablet as a second monitor via USB or HDMI.
I know there is an app for Android called DSLR controller (or something like this) that allows you to mirror Canon EOS camera on your tablet or cell phone using a usb host cable (I´ve tested this on my cell phone and it actually works). For sure there must be a way to do something similar and use a tablet as a second monitor using a usb cable. I´m going to post this on android forum and see what comes up.

I have been looking at the Habey BIS-6332B as a possible low power field computer using Android, and I am trying to find a good solution as to what to use as Monitor's (Has 2 HDMI OUT) that can be recharged easy by Solar and other means in the Boonies.
There is a Chinese outfit called Chinavasion that sells a slew of pretty cheap Android devices, and their Tablets have HDMI ports!
All the Apps I found so far are for Windows and Mac ONLY. None yet for Android-To-Android.
Curious if you found anything?
If not, any idea what area would need to be Hacked? I am not as interested in a wireless connected Monitor as I am just a better low cost TFT Screen; self powered like the Tablets. For a $65-$120 (US) Device, there has got to be a way
In my mind I picture just some Diodes that need to be reversed in the Tablet(s). Air Display in Google Play is the only one so far that looks close Win/Mac only? Any leads are welcome.

i recently picked up a cheap android tablet at a bootsale for £5, now its a bit slow, and needs an update since its running 2.1 still,
but... bring s me to my problem... how do i update a knock off? the firmware its running is of a different tablet so i need to find a way to port a tablet rom to it if thats possible? the spec of the tablet is...

1.2ghz single core processor,
10.1 inch resistive touchscreen,
1 single button on the front of screen, usb input micro usb output, micro sd slot, volume rocker and lock button on side
any help would be nice im not a total noob with taking roms apart and editing code i just need somewhere to start, a similar device for example lol

Hiya, so I was just given a Logicom E731 (grappy cheapass tablet) because they cracked the overlay glass that detects fingers / input. The LCD is bright and intact and android boots fine but I'm not going to buy the replacement part for ~$20 + shipping when the device is bought for 50€. Can one easily gain control via the USB 2.0 micro B port and install debian/ubuntu/whatever to turn this into a usable device? carputer/server... Does it have brewtoof?
