Try again, mate.
Double check the IMEI before submitting. You should get the code by the time you login to your inbox.
P.S.: please check the below post before updating.

How to Developer Unlock WP7.5(mango) for FREE!! (works with previous OS too)

Mod edit: Thread closed. This is borderline, if not explicitly, fraud.
The technique involves wrongfully claiming that you are a student at a particular community college--one, in which you do not intend on taking any classes. It is unethical, and really mean to use the college in such a manner.
If the OP wants to make another thread explaining how people with .edu mail accounts (college professors, students, and staff) can perform a free developer unlock, that is fine. Just please do not ever write about how to defraud an educational institution. That's just unethical.
If your thread was deleted, it's probably not without a reason. What you're explaining in this tutorial seems illegal to me, this might be the problem. I doubt if mods will keep this thread alive...

Of course. It's fraud. You're not a developer and you're not a student of said university.
The problem with this is that you are claiming to be something/someone that you are not (a student). This is a procedure that is open to everyone if you register as a developer ($99 a year).

An interop unlock isn't illegal as you may do with your phone whatever you want. It may void your warranty though, get over it.
This is fraud, and fraud is illegal, for sure.

This is not a interop unlock in the first place. Its the lite version of the dev unlock. You can sideload three apps with it. And as most people said I guess its illegal. Don't forget that your live id is sent to Microsoft during this step.

Thanks, worked, and I have installed 3 apps...
I'm at the last step. I can't get dreamspark to verify the school. It says, "Sorry, the e-mail which you have submitted is not a valid e-mail at Arizona College." Any ideas? I can log into my edu account just fine.

What is so illegal about it? Generating a SSN code? Well, I suppose it would be perhaps illegal too if you entered a transposed number, mistakenly?
The guy created a nice tutorial so hats off to him! Nice that you shared your knowledge. It worked flawlessly.
Cant seem to get registered.
Might be since I live in Europe and I'm a few hours ahead and its night there at the moment. But if not.. I've waited for over an hour now for the registration to complete. Not succeeded to login yet.
Will test once every hour for a few hours and report back.

Looks like they don't work weekends. I sent it again Sunday afternoon (time in USA) and got it a few hours later. Thanks for your encouragement. I'm all rooted now. Just wish we had a dev working on this thing so I can get rid of bloat and make it my own. What a great phone (screen and battery).

I didn't use mine, but have it stashed away...just in case.
In the last few years, I've become more of a leave it stock person.
My previous devices, Dell Streak 5, Galaxy Note1 (international), needed root, new kernels, new OS just to make
them work properly, but, for me anyway, quite frankly, all I've had to do with my Mate2, is charge it up and turn it
on. Probably one of the most stable devices I've used, since my old analog & digital Motoroal Star-Tac flip phone.

I have a Dell Streak 7 and still have the original Note 1 (though neither is getting any action lately). I am usually a tinkerer but I have to agree with you that this phone is not too shabby on stock. I am glad I have root so I can delete some of the bloat.

Brush Unlock??? Not seeing anything related to unlocking the bootloader on that website.
If you are seeing the link then copy it here. I haven't dived into Brush Unlock since it requires to create a "nickname" which I am not interested in doing. Have tried other links on that site to no prevail. It's bad enough I had to link it to my facebook just to get this far....

Sorry, the photo was kind of small and I had trouble reading it. So, no, not Brush Unlock.
When I follow the link in the OP I then log in using my Huawei account that I created previously. Then I am taken to a page to download the new EMUI 3. I click on the download link and at the top, right of that page (just above the pics of the different phones) is a link for "Unlock Bootloader". Previously this took me to the tool to unlock the bootloader. Today it just takes me in a loop, back to the original page to download the EMUI 3. So, it appears that not only does it not work, they have now really broken it.
If you want to PM me your information I will try and get your unlock code. I would need:
Serial Number:
IMEI:
Also, please confirm that you have an MT2-L03, the US version of Ascend Mate 2.

Yea, I remember it showing the "unlock bootloader" link a while back which is what I was initially looking for lol. I Sid some googling earlier and found the actual link that lets you put in the information but I don't think it's been updated at all lol. No option for this device. All international. They need to link up with HTC and learn from them about how to handle this kind of stuff since it is web based.

I was so happy I got to their screen and it had MT2-L03 as a model number
but it doesn't work for me as welll....sigh
gotta wait for the emails i guess.....
I think it's only north american devices that don't work with that tool? or is it WIND specific

Try this if you need your unlock code

LONG STORY SHORT, I JUST GREW TIRED OF HUAWEI SENDING ME TO THE ONLINE CODE GENERATOR LINK THAT KEPT GIVING ME THE "YOU NEED A PHONE ACCOUNT" ERROR MESSAGE. SO I DID SOME RESEARCH AND STAYED UP TILL LIKE 430am EVEN THOUGH I HAD TO WORK THE FOLLOWING DAY AND CAME ACROSS THIS http://mate7.net/ascend-mate7-bootloader-unlock/
IT WORKED FOR ME AND I HOPE THAT IT WORKS FOR YOU TOO. EVEN THOUGH THE HAM 2 IS NOT LISTED, IT STILL WORKED FOR ME. NOW I'M UNLOCKED, ROOTED, AND ROCKIN' CM 12.1
***Once you generate the product id and navigate to the online tool, choose Chinese version (change language). It'll reroute you to Chinese version of the online tool. That one shouldn't ask for the phone account. That's the one I used. (just in case, I don't know Chinese, I used Google Translate)
ONLY FOLLOW INSTRUCTION ON GENERATING PRODUCT ID, AND GETTING BOOTLOADER UNLOCK CODE.
DESREGARD THE REST BECAUSE THEYRE SPECIFICALLY FOR MATE 7
This actually works guys and gals. I have subscribed to this thread for safe keeping at the moment. In addition, I can also vouch that the program used to gain a fake product ID works on Linux via Wine. I have rated this thread for 5 stars for sharing this valuable information.

Been ready lol. Still don't have my device yet (will most likely be tuesday given labor day on monday). Only verified this procedure through other devices and it worked on them all. It did not work for those that were sample devices. Mainly due to the imei/sn not being in the system which was to be expected.

I used this method yesterday and successfully got my unlock code! Thanks!
Like you said, just use the English site as a guide - it failed to give me an unlock code after numerous tries. The unlock code came from the Chinese site. And use model # HUAWEI Y300-0000 for both the product ID generator software and the unlock website, even though our HAM2 model # is different.
What's really crazy is on the English site, the link that says "How do I obtain the Product ID?" tells how to dial a sequence on our phones to get a product ID, but that product ID is not the same as what the product ID generator software provides.

Error. Camera not available.

Hi!
Last November i bought my E2363 on Amazon.
Now when i open my camera app i get the error message:
"Error. Camera not available." :crying:
I checked on google and they say clear cache of the camera app, try other camera app.
I tried it all but the problem persists.
What do you recommend?
I have that on my Xperia L and it's hardware not software problem You can't resolve it by reinstalling system but TRY IT. If you have phone warranty you need to use it.
Thanks for reply. I was already afraid it was hardware. Somewhere i read that Amazon is not official Sony seller, so that would mean i'm screwed.

I contacted Sony support.
They sent me a list of things i should try, including clearing cache, restarting the phone and that kind of stuff, after which they would help me further.
I did the things, and contacted them again, to which they drily replied i should contact the seller.
I then contacted Amazon and i cite: "However, in appreciation to your valuable business with Amazon.com, I've made a one-time exception in our standard policies and suggest you to please return your defective item to us to receive a refund."
Thank you Amazon.
