[Q] How to use Nandroid backups - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

I see that there is a collection of nandroid backups in this thread. I believe the concept is that if you are already rooted and there is an update available, you can just use these backups to upgrade to a newer version and stay rooted. However, will I lose the apps that I have installed? Will I need to make my own backup and restore them afterwards (or reinstall the apps from the Play Store)?

General questions belong in the question section.

is there a way to remove bell bloatware without installed cyanogen??

i'm waiting for the ICS release so don't really want to install anything. is there a way i could just remove carrier bloatware? it's an unlocked bell phone, i'm using on Telus
Instal a cf-root from chainfires thread, then install titanium backup. You can then uninstall or freeze the apps.

What the poster before me said should work, but keep in mind that freezing/uninstalling system apps COULD lead into problems.

[Q] Flash a nandroid Backup through Odin?

Would someone please point me in the right direction? I have installed Task14, installed all my preferred apps, and would now like to create a flashable image of my current setup that I can restore via Odin. I play with all kinds of setups and ROMs, but would like the ability to return to my current setup whenever I please. I know I can make a nandroid backup and restore through cwm, but would like to keep an odin backup 'just in case'. Thanks in advance!

How to make a full backup of the following Sony P?
Plz check the development and other respective sections before u make multiple posts
U could have asked all the questions in a single thread instead of making 4 different ones
You can use ROM manager to do that, but for this you should have working CWM.

How to backup and switch ROMS while maintaining data and files?

Is there anyway to go from Stock 4.2.2 rooted to 4.3 rooted (released on these forums).
I just want to know if I can backup ALL my data and files with TWRP, install the new rom, and restore the data and files?
Will doing a backup of "Data", "System" and "Boot" in TWRP backup my photos and downloads and music and such?
Any help? I just want the 4.3 Rom while maintaining data.

Best way to backup everything is to use Titanium Backup from the play store. It's a root app and works great.

It's best to not restore anything.
