use an app called 'backup-TA' v9.7 i think was the latest.
But you do need to be rooted to backup your TA partition.
So thats probably why you can't do it using flashtool..
root first

hi.
i did a mistake and i updated my Xperia Ray with the official sony 4.0 .
i want to downgrade the phone to 2.4.3.
the problem is that i need HEBREW language and i didnt find it in the Stock ROMs over te internet.
my friend have the same phone with the stock 2.4.3 Hebrew ROM.
is there a way to backup his ROM without using SUS? if i run SUS his phone will be updated to 4.0 too.
best regards!
Seriously dude people invented google for a reason
Unlock boot loader and install cwm and backup via cwm
Or there is a kernel with cwm for locked bootloaders

Well, I'm about to root my Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, but the Build Number is 4.0.2.A.0.62 and I'm about to flash into 4.0.2.A.0.42 and root using Flashtool (As being suggested from Xperia Community Thailand Facebook). So, I searched for some app in Google Play but only rooted phone seem to be able to backup App+Data. So, is there any way to backup App+Data on Unroot Android Device? Or maybe there are some method to root my phone without flash into 4.0.2.A.0.42?
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards.

But it said that
Users who have a rooted phone: You can backup apk+data as well as market links!
NOTE: Data/setting of applications can only be supported if you have a rooted phone, or if the application integrates with us.

i tried that one too..i placed the 2 backups on my internal sd card but when i press restore efs from backup it says that no such file exists..do i have to place them in another place?or what`s the problem?can you make a short tuto please
No idea.. what would be best would be remembering how you took them....or perhaps the dev thread for the 2nd app has more info - did you read it /ask in the thread.
If you can't restore the backup, you can try and restore to stock otherwise send for repair

Hi.
My phone is unlocked bootloader and rooted.
It's build number is 14.3.A.0.757 (6802)
I want to know is there any way to just update it to 14.4.A.0.108 without loosing the data?
I've made lots of customization and don't want to do it again after update process.
In addition I made a backup of whole system in recovery.
Regards
Any recommendation?

Hello, I am planning on rooting my KIW-L21 by the official method. This wipes all my data. So can I simply backup with HiSuite and then restore without loosing root. And if HiSuite doesnt work what else can I use?
Thanks in advance!

You can make a backup using hisuite and restore it. Nothing will be lost after the root if you made a full backup.
