Last night I was flashing some rom for sony LWW wt19i and I was on low 20% or somewhat like that amount of battery. Suddenly after flashing rom I left it to charge, then I saw battery became 100% but after sometimes the battery drained and phone shut down. So I kept it charging the whole night and in the morning it was all the same.
I flashed another rom, the problem stayed. Then now I flashed stock rom FTF with flashtool, the problem is still there. full charge in 2-5 mins but phone shuts down after one of two mins.
My thinking is the phone is not charging actually. What Can I do?
Never mind the problem is solved as soon as I flashed stock rom.
It was a problem with Panic Kernel.
Sorry

Hi,
First of all o tried to serch something like that all day and didn't found, so, if anyone knows a topic about it with anwsers or some website, pls post it and close the topic.
So, yesterday i took my x10 with 67% battery and connected to the PC to charge and gone to sleep. I use a desktop and it was on all the time. But like 5 hours later, my phone was powered off and completely drained. It only flashed the red light 3 times when i tried to power up. So i connected again to the same computer without touching the pc. It started to blink the flash light for a while, then the light turned green. I waited a little and tried to turn it on. Again, it blinked 3 times and nothing. Connected again and some time later, the charging battery icon appeared, and it started to charge again, and i powered it on normally, and my battery was at 1%.
Even it got no recharge at all, with 67% on standby, my phone lasts almost 3 days, so only 2 options left: The pc is draining it, what i think its nonsense, since it never drain battery from nothing i connect, or theres a bug on the mod, or its a problem on the phone itself.
It's not the first time it happens, but never happen when i used the Miui mod or stock mod. Happen about 5 times already, only on cm mod.
What i already did:
- Reseted the battery stats when it was 100%, drained it until it turned off alone, charged again.
No more ideas.
I noticed something like that too few days ago..
Usually, when I want to charge it from a computer, I turn all the radio (wifi, 3G, sync, etc..) and let the phone charge and its working fine.
Don't know the reason though.
When your computer goes into sleep mode the phone doesnt charge anymore but its not supposed to eat 67% of battery neither ....
Sent From My X10!
I was using Wolfbreak's ROM (v007) up until two days ago, and one of my biggest complaints was poor battery performance. Not sure if it's the ROM or the baseband (52), but when I was at work my battery would drain stupid-fast (100% to dead in 5-6 hours). Part of that I think was that I get poor reception in my office (typically around 99 dBa), but the battery didn't drain that poorly using the old FreeX10 ROM.
I'm now running Jerpelea's CM7.0.3, but still on BB52. So far battery use seems about the same as with Wolfbreak's, but I'm still trying to optimize my battery stats.
Ive used the last few versions of trips roms and on v008 now..battery drain is the only issue ive pretty consistently had with them. Im on bb54..
*wouldnt necessarily call it excessive tho*

First, I apologize for my bad English.
I very doubt with my battery life. e.g. Today, I had been using my phone about 9hrs before battery dropped to 1% and after a few minutes it grew up to 2% and after a few minutes it dropped to 1% and grew up to 2% again
e.g.2. I turned off my phone when it has about 50% battery and after I turned on the phone, my battery directly dropped to 13% and after a few minutes it grew up to 25% WITHOUT charging.
I tried to wipe battery stats in CWM recovery mode, delete batterystats.bin, pull of the battery for 2-3 minutes, use battery calibration app, change the ROM or kernel or modem and it still no change
I am using Criskelo Rom v34, Speedmod k18 kernel and XXKL1 modem, edge on, sync off
Yup, seen that as well.
Just quit messing with all those battery related things, charge it to 100% a few times and use it up a few times without flashing roms kernels and wiping stats etc.
It should be normal after that. Give it a week or 5-10 cycles or so.
Thanks, I will try it and come back to review : )
i also had this problem once. i just kept using my phone as normal and the problem fixed itself
i have a serious issue with my device , my device indicating wrong battery status (which i think so) , whenever i try to charge my device it starts charging 1% after every 2-3 sec and even more faster discharging rate, so i changed my battery with another one but still same result . my phone take 10% of juice within 30 sec of uses.
the problem begins when i switched back to stock ics rom after using a lot of roms without flashing the kernels . now i tried everything i m on stock rom with stock sony kernel , even more i tried stock GB rom but same result again .
currently i m on.....
stock .587 firmware
formatted D-card
locked bootloader
stock SONY kernel.
How can i solve this issue. please help me, its so annoying
thanx!

download this from playstore:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration
charge till 100%, start the app, press calibrate and then unplug your phone from charger. your phone must be rootet.
after calibration use your phone till it has only 1 or 2 % left, then charge again to 100% without interrupt. dont calibrate again.
if the problem still isnt fixed with calibration, try this:

...It could be that your power meter has gone wonky and this can be reset by charging the phone to 100% and then removing the battery and the usb cable from the phone for 10 minutes. Return the battery to the phone and charge it back up to 100%.

My friend, i can see you have problem with the batery life. I don't know if any of you has noticed this, but when the phone is charging and it reaches 100%, you shouldn't remove the charger. The phone is still charging even after reaching 100%,sometimes for half an hour. If you want to see when the phone is fully charged, go to Settings-About phone-Phone status. In the first field you can find if the phone is or is not fully charged. Try this and let's see what happens. I hope i can help some of you.

I once had problems with the Mediaserver which was draining my batterie.
it did so because of 2 Videos he didn't recognize, i also heard the Mediaserver can run crazy if the sd card is broken.
So which app is using your batterie that much?
AW: battery drains on my xperia ray ??
have you tried flashing other roms? is there the same problem?

Can you post a screenshot from the first battery screen? That one will show which process are using the battery up. In places of the screen shot you posted, it looks like there is a problem with your phone staying awake when the screen is off.

battery is not draining, actually it is showing wrongly .... every time after removing battery it shows actual amount of battery remaining , yesterday i charged my phone several time until it reached actually 95% and then i starts playing temple run, the battery indicator reaches at 1% within 20 mins and then it remains at 1% charged until 3 hours of continuous gaming and then shuts off, then i put it on charging and it reaches 100% within 15%
and yesterday night i put my phone again into charging and today morning it is showing 100% and after 6 hours of moderate use it is still 100%

great battery life
did you try full wipe in recovery + wipe battery stats in recovery and flash stock rom again?
Okay so , Yesterday night when i was using my phone it was on 15% and suddenly screen starts flickering like crazy and suddenly shut downs.
I try to charge it again but after reboot it stayed to 0% even after hours of charging so i rebooted it again and in Custom recovery (Apollo 5.1 regular) it shows 100% battery so i rebooted it again and removed the charging and after 10 minutes it started again dropping like crazy from 100% to 58% and constantly dropping until it switches off itself.
Now it's again on charging it and AGAIN it shows 0% charging and no matter how much time it'll be on charging it will be 0% and after a reboot it'll show 100% and this cycle continues .
It seems like it never shows original charged battery percentage.
1) I have already tried wide data factory reset and flashing the same ROM again still no help.
2) There is no software problem i could think of as phone is functioning fluid enough it's just battery issue.
3) It happened 11-12 months before also and the motherboard got dead suddenly and i have to get it replaced i wish if again it's not an hardware issue which come suddenly .
Rom- CM 10.1.3 (4.2.2) official last stable build
Current kernel- CM default
Meanwhile I'll be checking the phone by using Neat ROM and changing battery
THIS problem is very common to many galaxy s2 users and still there is METHOD or SOLUTION provided which is very surprising even after so many users with this problem.
Could any one help me , this is literally frustrating.
EDIT- Now the scene is ,even on NEATROM(Jellybean 4.1.2) it constantly start draining until 0% and shuts off itself ,like i do nothing while after pitting off from the charger when it shows 100% just like a progress bar it runs backward from 100% to 0% . DAMN , Help me.

Could be a faulty battery. Try changing to a new one
It sounds like the rom is the culprit. Try to calibrate the battery with the Battery Calibration app from playstore otherwise, install a different rom.

Hey, I have an S2 (fairly old I know, but can't really change my phone right now :/). Since a few months back I started having problems like the phone shutting down at 12-15% battery left, reboots sometimes consumed 10-15% of the battery. So I bought a new battery but the problems continued.
Now leaving those problems aside, since a few weeks ago my phone started to discharge even thought it was connected to the charger, so I when to see a tech guy and he told me the charging port was loose so he fixed that apparently, bought a new charger after that but the problem persisted, the phone charges sometimes and sometimes doesn't and when it charges it takes hours to reach 100%.
Another thing it's that sometimes I left the phone charging at night and when I wake up the phone says it's 100% but when I take off the charger it drops down to 70-60%.
I'm using 5.1.1 so I thought it could be a ROM problem since Lollipop is a battery killer, I decided to change from Paranoid to CM but still the same story.
Now I'm trying to charge the phone while it's off and seems to be working, although very slowly.
I had the same problem with a Xperia X8, I've changed the battery and flash the stock ROM. Try to do this
