I am trying to update my samsung galaxt s3 to 4.3 jelly bean but with no success
I tried using the mobile update setting and tried even with kies but its telling me that i have the latest update ( the info is 4.1.2)
can someone help pls

im currently trying to downgrade from leaked jelly-bean 4.1.1 using Samsung kies and there is no option to download the official Samsung 4.0 ?
im trying to get the official Samsung firmware if possible please ?

Download official firmware samsung here ; http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/
With Kies you can only initialize your phone to factory state (it will be some older ICS version) and in next step upgrade it to newest version.
You can do this with Odin immediately by flashing required ICS version. Kies doesn't allow you to selective downgrade.

Try a Samsung or Kies forum
or use CHECKFUS to download the firmware and flash via Odin .

Had this myself ..... until today.
Today I ran Kies and was told there was an update to Kies. So downloaded & ran the update and connected an S3 that needs Jelly Bean. Device is recognised and Jelly Bean is being installed as I type.
Hi i'm new to this so apolgies if i have asked in the wrong section,i have a galaxy s3 that was on orange but has been unlocked,so far i have not received the jelly bean update OTA i have tried via kies but it only updated the older ice cream sandwich firmware,i don't have the software update tab either on my phone which is annoying....can anyone tell me how i go about installing the update manually please???

and with kies and with wi-fi doesn't work .

I have a Korean sgs3 shv e210s running anroid 4.1.2 i try to update it but it says your system is up to date. I know there is 4.3 update available but it wont prompt me about it. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
