really wondering if this forum will help to solve my problem???
I have a rooted android 4.1.1 with CWM on it. It is a phone from Thailand. No ROMS available with a higher android version.
Issue: I have a BTR-155 Bluetooth speaker microphone. Bluetooth connection works fine, but microphone input does not work.
I have been trying to understand the issue. I think it has something to do with A2DP and AVRCP.
The issue seems to be fixed with the newer androids.
Can I just copy the fix by copying the fixed files on top of the OS?
How can I do that?
Really wondering if someone here will give me a hint.

Hope someone has an advice or opinion for a problem i have and did not find a solution searching through the forums. The 4.2.2 Bluetooth sound quality is no issue and also no distractions when using with my Parrot Asteroid in my car.
My problem is that when I am finished driving and have an active conversation running and I switch back to device speaker (internal or external does not matter!!!), the sound never comes back to the speakers but the microphone is switching properly to the device's mike iso the BT system. If I switch back to Bluetooth I get the sound back to the speakers of the car.
Same symptom on all the 3 4.2 ROMs I loaded so far (currently running on Dragon's Fusion ROM).

I am wondering if any one is having the same issue or anyway to resolve the issue. I just upgraded to AOKP 4.2.2 MR2. The bluetooth pair process are ok for all my bluetooth devices. I am able to listen to music, movies, and other application that has sound. But I am not able to listen to a conversation on a call but if I put it on the speaker people are talking. I am wondering if this is a known issue or some configurations that I can adjust.

4.2.2 problem mate.
I recently acquired a Tablet running Android 4.1.2.
I am new to android and had some issues which I have now managed to resolve, but there are still 2 issues outstanding which I cannot seem to find an answer to.
I have contacted the supplier who are most unhelpful (re-install the firmware is their attitude) and I have tried various forums with no responses, so I am hoping someone here can help.
The two issues are:
- The default Text To Speech engine in the system is Pico. I installed 2 others in an effort to find an improvement, and although these show up in the Settings, whenever I tap one to set as default, the system ignores the request and stays set with Pico.
- I have a problem with microphone input when I use my A2DP bluetooth headset. It plays sound OK, but will not register input from the mic. I know the mic works and in the Tablet Bluetooth settings both Media and Phone Audio are selected.
Please...Please... can anyone point me in the direction of some answers to these issues.

I looked everywhere but could not find a solution to a problem I've been having for a long time now.
I apologise if it's inappropriate to open a new thread but I cannot find any other solution.
I've been using AOKP milestone for some time on my I9300 (S3) device and am very happy with all the features and battery life etc.
I've been having one problem with the bluetooth and am unable to find out the solution or root cause of the problem.
Recently I have even tried a factory reset and flashed the milestone 2 latest rom but still am having the same issue,
Here are the details of the problem;
During a call using bluetooth handsfree car kit or earpiece it's not possible to resume / direct / transfer the call to the devices internal or external speaker.
Once I turn off the bluetooth due to arrival to destination and having to leave the car or battery dying in the earpiece I can hear the person on the other end for 3 seconds and then total silence but the other end can hear me clearly. Once I turn on the BT or external speakers on / off I can hear for 3 more seconds and so on,
What am I missing.
Please help.

I have the exact same, but running on CM10.2
Issue is when I am on a call with bluetooth I can't switch to speaker, or phone while in call. If I do so, they cannot hear me and I cannot hear them. If I switch back to bluetooth everything works again... Anyone else know a fix for this?

I looked all over and tried different roms and issue remains the same.
I used Omega based samsung and only then it worked fine but I do not like Sam. Based roms.
Please keep me posted if you solve this.
Also another problem I'm facing is, if capturing a video in a concert / club, video sound is very nosiy and un hearable, picture is ok though

Hi, I'm driving nuts with this problem. I recently bought a Chinese Android Radio with Carplay/AA and everything works fine except the calls.
When I connect my phone via Bluetooth, no matter if I'm using Android Auto or not, incoming or outgoing calls have a 2-3 seconds delay, and it's impossible to have a conversation.
I already updated the firmware to the last v.7.3.7 and everything is ok, but the problem remains. I don't know if it's something with the Bluetooth or the integrated microphone.
So, Anyone experience something similar or know what might be the problem and care to help me, please?
