Not sure if this right area so feel free to move. My wife has a Kindle and she just purchased a Kindle book from Amazon and it downloaded to her Kindle. Is there a way I can get a Purchased Kindle book moved to the Prime?
Thanks

Thanks. I felt like a dumbass when I saw the Kindle App that a pre loaded on the Prime....LOL
With the Amazon HD within grasping distance and newws that it is running off ICS, Am I the only person excited about the forthcoming jacking of the video .apk for my other Android devices?
I can't wait. Prime is chock full of Sesame Streets for my son and decent movies for me. I'll sure we'll run into hurdles with rooted devices, though...

Strange but last night I randomly discovered that I had purchased the movie from Google Play when I've never bought the film. Just talked to my brother in law who owns a Nexus 7 and he confirmed it was free with his tablet. Can anyone else confirm if it shows they bought the movie from completing this conversion process? If so then it's a nifty freebie for us users!

haha thanx for the heads up I have it too.!
That's called theft and you, sir, are a filthy pirate! You wouldn't steal a car would you? So why are you stealing movies from the poor hardworking film makers like Michael Bay?
/sarc
Interesting side effect. I'd think Google would be able to tell that the same Nexus 4 "device" has given this movie to x number of different accounts. Bad security on their part. I got this movie free on my N7 as well (it's also on Netflix) and I have yet to watch it. I'm waiting until I'm completely out of entertainment options I guess, ha ha.
Edit: You should also have access to several (now way outdated) magazines in Play Magazine or whatever it's called. Not that anyone has that bloat app on their phone, but they should be there.
You would think so if this is what were happening. I imagine it might be similar to when a Samsung phone a while back was offering free copies of Avatar to those with t-mobile when they bought their handset, although this is not being promoted.

Another point towards the Nexus 4 conversion...
Thats awesome. I have it too
If anyone has the tomb raider map app could you please send it to me. It's not available on Amazon market and can't find it anywhere on Google. My kindle isn't rooted so I can't get it from the play store. Thanks

You are asking for a paid app. The rules prohibit the distribution of paid apps on xda.
Sorry.

You could pm it to me. I would have no problem paying the lousy 2 bucks but Amazon doesn't have the app and they have the kindle's on lockdown so I can't get it from the play store. Not like I'm trying to steal just have no other choice. Not my fault

Why don't you just root your kindle so you can get it legitly from Google play store?

Don't want to root this thing cost me 400 can't afford to brick it. Plus I'm not going through all that trouble for 1 app. I don't even like the play store don't trust Google with my credit card

Um that link is invalid...
Well rooting it very very rarely hard brick's it, its rare that something like that would occur, soft bricking has happened on occasion, but if u soft brick it it is always fixable. All you would do is reflash the os. I find it funny in a sense you don't trust Google, I was like that at first when android first came out because I heard the reports of them going through peoples accounts emails, then when I realized that android was Linux based I said eh sure I guess I should trust it more. And I thought u already owned the app or were planning on paying for it if you could, if your not going to attempt paying for it then I can't help, I don't feel like getting banned for supporting piracy.

well see that's just it. I would love to pay for it but Amazon just doesn't have it. Paying 2 bucks for it would save me all this trouble. Also I'm not real tech savvy when it comes to android so I'm really not comfortable rooting. I do trust Linux based android I just don't trust Google as a company I hear they are sloppy with your credentials. And it's just not worth the possible identity theft for the one app I want that Amazon doesn't carry. Also I have tried to buy from play store through blue stacks but Google won't take a prepaid visa which is all I'm willing to use with Google. So I have defiantly attempted to pay for the app. Also I have been trying to find someone I know who uses play store so I could just give them 2 dollars to download it for me but everyone I know has iPhone so that's no help. If someone is willing to work something out I would be open to it

Please learn some manners, your incessant begging won't get you anything; here and in life. Adding "you suck" to your signature will NOT earn you anything.
Now, about your problem.
If you are on these forums, you should know how to search them. There ways to root the kindle fire hd. The steps are laid out all for you to follow. Any chance of you bricking your device is YOU. Any bricks are due to USER ERROR. Rooting isn't hard kid, read a bit; you'll figure it out.
You had a problem. I gave you a solution.
I didn't mean to get off as rude or harsh, but your attitude is really unnecessary.
Quit complaining please
I would like this thread closed, hopefully soon...

agree this is not the place for search for warez, much less for bad attitude towards the community.
Another legit solution to his problem is if he has and android smartphone, its to buy the app in the phone, then extract the apk and transfer it to the kindle via usb.
The walking dead season one (the telltale game) is free on the Amazon app store. I don't have a Kindle but I really want this game. Anyone know a workaround to get this game?
Guess I missed it cause it says Naught 2...
You don't need a Kindle to download amazon apps. I never needed one on my Optimus G. Maybe they changed it
