Hi, I was thinking of buying the HTC ONE MaXX and I have some questions about it.
1) I know that rooting voids warrenty, but after unRooting is the warrenty back again ?
2) What does the following terms mean :
A)bootloader?
B)S/off?
C)Lock, relock, unlock?
3) Is it easy to root?
4) Will the fingerprints sensor keep working after I root it?
Thanks in advance
Mate, you need to use search.

Hello everyone.
I have an Xperia with ICS .. now I want to hear from you, experts, medoto easier for root and benefits of this. if you can put some roms and if it's worth it!
Thank you!
up
the easiest way is.... use the SEARCH BUTTON or read the STICKIES
I've already read but unlock the bootloader is a mess .. then a curiosity, I still gotta do replace the screen, should I do now or even further?
up
If you have to replace the screen you need warranty for that. If you root your device you will lose your warranty and have to pay for the fix.
So, first go to warranty, fix your device and then root.
Hello, and sorry for my bad english..
I have a question maybe stupid to ask ... I have a Sony Xperia S with ICS 4.0 and I would like to know if it is possible to install one of these status bar (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583288) without CWM. I don't want to unlock my bootloader because i wan't to save my warranty.
Thank you.
You can't do that without root, but
1) unlocking doesn't void your warranty
and 2) there is a way to root without unlocking
Thanks for your answer !
Can you give me the links of the tutorial to root without unlock bootloader ?
Look in the general section.

1 yes you can
2 so many do a search
3 no you cant update your phone if it is rooted
3.1 but you can update it by unrooting it temporarily using an app superuser
4 1 rooting will void your warranty
2 do it as clear as per the instructions for rooting else you will soft brick your phone you can unbrick that but take precautions
that's all take a risk friend
Hey all, I've just got my Z5C the other day and just can't seem to get on with it due to the lack of gravitybox tweaks I've been spoiled by and other things like DPI changing without breaking swiftkey.
I'm on the latest firmware (32.0.A.6.152) and wondered if it was possible to root on this version? Thanks all
Yes, it is possible to root using TWRP.
To rephrase it, it is possible to root if unlocked bootloader, not possible with locked bootloader
Next to that, for me it didn't work out to install Xposed framework without running into lots of crashes and reboots (with no modules installed).
is it that hard to do forum search?
Thanks for the useful comments guys!
Just another one, on the z3 series I read about loss of camera quality due to DRM keys when unlocking the bootloader. Is this still the case for the z5?
Also, is it possible to re-lock the bootloader?
Thanks again

Hello guys,
I search on the forum but didn't find the answer for the Z5C.
I just want to know if today, can we root the phone without unlocking the bootloader ?
I mean by that, if it possible to get the root and not lost the DRM Key or other stuff like the quality of the camera ?
Maybe can I use a pre rooted rom with flashtool to get the root and no unlocking my bootloader ?
Thank you guys for answering me
LEthien.

No, never. Z5c is identical to Z5 and Z5P regarding base hardware and software. Sorry, but you did not search enough, 1000th post like this.
