I bought a unlocked and rooted AT&T LG Optimus G E970 from ebay. I tried to install CMW/TWRP recovery on it by adb and fastboot commands. When I typed "adb devices" the device model and serial number message showed on PC. But when I typed "adb reboot bootloader" or I manually press Volume+ and power key same time it couldn't be going to fastboot mode anyway. It just going to Android system. What is correct method and how do I do to get it into fastboot mode so that I will able to install recovery package? Is there any way to check bootloader? However, I read some different instrutions online for manually rebooting device to fastboot mode. I don't know what is right instruction for my phone. Thanks a lot!

Unlocked and unlocked bootloader are not the same thing. You can download the Feegee app from the market and then unlock the bootloader and install a recovery all in one go.
Hi, I wanted to make this tutorial for those having problems unlocking the bootloader on LG L9 phones
There is a few tutorials for unlocking, i tried it all and only one that is worked is this method
-TESTED ON P768, MAY ALSO WORK AS OTHER MODELS P760 OR P765
STARTING ...
REQUIRED:
First of all a lots of patience
0. ADB Pack from google, link for setup and setting - link
1. ADB and Fastboot Drivers for your phone installed - search xda for setup
2. Automatic Offline Updater KDZ - link -this tool will automate all for flashing
3.KDZ V10A and V20B of P760 EUROPE OPEN
4.Cable USB
5. Phone
TUTORIAL
1. Back to V10a ICS with LGMobile SUPPORT TOOL or Automatic Offline Updater KDZ - link
2. Once done that, make hard reset Vol-+ Button Home + Power Button
3. After having done hard reset, power up phone, enable USB Debugging and connect the phone to pc mode LG software
4. Flash it to the V20B with same method
5. WITHOUT disconnecting the cable to the PC and NO hard reset with the SIM inside and connected WIFI and leave it there 30 minutes, phone must be connected to internet, and without rebooting the phone, SO JUST CONNECT IT TO INTERNET and leave it
6. After the 30 minutes way to unlock the bootloader is open
7. open cmd and type adb reboot oem-unlock, now phone will reboot and enter in fastboot mode, press vol+ to unlock bootloader
8. power off phone (hold power button for 10 sec)
9. using script enter in fastboot
10. copy l9 recovery in fastboot folder and rename it to recovery.img
11. then via cmd navigate to fastboot folder and enter command: fastboot flash recovery.img
12. type fastboot reboot to reboot phone
hold vol+,home and power to enter CWM
ENJOY

the problem, and the following :
I had problems with the CM13 ROM so I decided to return to the stock rom by autoprime 10e
when I flashed via ZIP I have not flashed the superSU.
Now I find that I can no longer install the TWRP via adb.
and with each restart the triangle and become red and not yellow.
I give me a adb error when I am in fastboot "waiting for the device" but how is it possible? when I do "adb devices" me detects it and also when I give the command "fastboot reboot" maybe it's because of that red triangle? how to fix ?
I tried in every way I also tried to put the official KDZ LGUP but does not recognize the model, I thought it was the COM3 - COM41 etc ... but in any case I lost all the features, how can I fix?
Update 1 : it seems that when I enter the bootloader with the command "adb reboot bootloader" The fastboot screen is freeze, because no more command or "10 sec power button to turn off the phone" work.

Just had this same issue, but fixed by updating my android ADB interface drivers on my PC...
I'll respond with a more thorough solution(or link) in a bit... Just have to find the guide I used
As far as LG Up is concerned take a look at the 10i kdz threads... You have to replace the H850.dll and for 10i you must choose "upgrade" and not "refurbish" in LG Up
Hello,
I have a Straight Talk ZTE Majesty Pro LTE [Z799VL]. It runs Android 6.0.1. This phone occasionally installs apps and has an annoying app called AppFinder. I have tried to root this phone with KingoRoot and KingRoot. So, I need help figuring out if this thing is even rootable. I would get a more accessible phone, but I'm short on money. I know this is short on information, but I'd be willing to help in any way I can.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Boop.
I'm fairly certain this phone was released recently. Maybe it's just too soon.
I have this same phone and am having the same problem finding info on how to root it. Keeping a hopeful eye on this thread
Any news for ZTE Majesty PRO unlock?
My friend just brought it from USA to Europe and he want to use it in normal way

The OP is running Android 6 but I have the Straight Talk boxed ZTE Majesty Pro and it runs 7.1.1 out of the box.
There is a thread called Universal Method with a file and instructions but my Android device is the only PC I own so I haven't given it a try. The post has a Windows and a Linux method.

Have you unlocked the bootloader?
I recently upgraded to an Android 7.1.1 ZTE Majesty™ Pro Plus LTE (Z899VL) from TracFone,, and was rather dismayed to find out that it has an unremovable Facebook app (among other rubbish that I don't want/don't use).
I've never rooted a device before, and I know that this thread's a little old, but would anyone be willing to post a very-newbie-friendly step-by-step tutorial/walkthrough for rooting this phone (assuming it's possible)?
I have Developer Options enabled, and I can easily unlock the bootloader if that's required. I just want to get rid of these useless (for me) System Apps.
Oh, also: I don't have Linux, so… if it's possible, perhaps the rooting method could work using a Windows 7 PC?
need fastboot to unlock the bootloader. to the best of my knowledge, which aint much. but i can not find access to any kind of dl mode let alone fastboot.

Well, I finally managed to get my 899VL (it's not a 799VL as I'd thought — sorry) to show up as an ADB device; it accepts commands from the ADB program… except that when I execute "adb reboot bootloader", it just reboots my phone.
The ZTE logo shows, then the TracFone logo, and then Android boots as normal. It's as though I simply used the "Restart" option on my phone itself.
Due to this, I can't use "fastboot" commands, because it doesn't seem to enter Fastboot at all.
I do have both the OEM unlocking and USB debugging options turned ON. My only guess as to what's going wrong is that it's TracFone's fault. (Alas, I have no proof…)
Is there anything else that I can do to try and unlock the bootloader? Or is this phone a lost cause?

Well, I don't know about any other method to unlock boot loader.
BTW, in case of some phones, turning on the "OEM Unlock" button in Developer Options unlocks the bootloader automatically, so maybe, just check whether your bootloader is locked or not.
Both Didn't work

Hey i have LG g2 mini (d620r) and fastoot cant see my phone but adb can. when i try to reboot through adb (i used adb reboot bootloader, adb reboot bootloader ,and even tried adb sideload) but it wont work. it just simply restarts. tried patched bootloader but still nothing goes.
The g2m does not support fastboot.
Just follow the instructions in the thread you want to flash.
