Do you mean .net framework
yea, ill try again
Ok, now i have it all downloaded, but when i open androidcentral.exe, it doesnt show my serial number
You might want to read this through too. It will help you root your device but rooting doesn't automatically allow you to install non market apps. You still have to mess around with the settings.db file on your phone which can cause undesired results if you do it the wrong way. Safest bet is just to install the android sdk and install non market apps via adb. Xperiax10iuser has a nice little guide called "ADB for Noobs" you can reference.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=790505
Also, the Sideloadwonder machine can work but a lot of at&t x10a users including myself had trouble with having the device recognized. If it worked great, but if not, I got mine to finally recognize by installing the flash drivers from SEUS update service. Install it on your computer, follow the step by step guide to updating software, computer will then install the drivers and you can update your phone if you would like. There should be 133mb upgrade that you can do. I don't know what's in the new update though. Have fun and good luck!

hello --
i recently bought a pre-paid telus lg optimus one to be used with petrocan mobility.
the phone was initially at version 2.2.1 of android; i used the desktop lg tool to upgrade it to android 2.3.3.
i unlocked the phone and subsequently rooted it with superoneclick.
next, i downloaded autoproxy from the android market and configured it to work with petrocan's "unlimited mobile browsing" service -- only port 80 (http) traffic goes through. and it seems to work: youtube, maps, android market, etc.
but when i tried to turn autoproxy off, i got the following error message:
Failed to stop proxy (
[: not found
killall: not found
busybox: not found
rm failed for /data/data/com.mgranja.
autoproxy/files/redsocks.conf, no such
files or directory)
using the adb shell, i've poked around my phone to find busybox & killall, to no avail.
right now i'm stuck with autoproxy in a funky state: it thinks it's connected, even though i now have turned wireless data off.
and i can't tell it to stop.
i've searched all forums high and low for an explanation of what the problem, and could not find anyone with the same problem, which i found surprising.
so, the question: how to i get autoproxy to turn itself off correctly?
thanks in advance!
p.s.: btw, autoproxy does work when activated: i was able to update skype from what came with my phone (or what came with the official telus android 2.3.3 release) and use it, despite petrocan's filtering of non-browser activity. so for that, i am a happy camper. but having to turn off my phone every time i want to turn autoproxy off, whilst a work-around, sort of ruins the picture.
Guess you need to install busybox, you can find an installer in market.
Sent from my LG-P500 using XDA App
success with autoproxy on my optimus one
*** i know most of this has already been mentioned on this website and elsewhere, but this is my attempt to summarize everything in one post.
so i finally got autoproxy to work 100% as expected. all in all, i feel that the pre-requisites were not correctly identified. so here they are below, to avoid anyone else with an lg optimus one p500h wasting time trying to make things work:
* unlock your phone (can't hurt, even if you don't have to)
download the following three windows packages:
* superoneclick (at least v2.3.3.0)
* android sdk (at least r16)
* java jdk (at least v7u3)
for the next two android apps, you will have to get yourself an android marketplace account and set up a payment arrangement with google to be able to purchase autoproxy (it's worth the small amount the dev asks for).
* busybox (from 'stericson' -- at least v7.5.5)
* autoproxy (android app -- at least v0.60)
your optimus one (or any other android device, for that matter) must be rooted to make use of autoproxy.
understand it's also missing busybox by default, this is why you need to download it.
install the windows apps: java jdk, then android sdk.
extract superoneclick from its .zip file.
connect your phone to your windows pc via usb, put it in usb debug mode.
start superoneclick and root your phone.
once you're done, go to the android market and get stericson's busybox.
even though it looks installed (nice little icon in the android gui), you have to start it to be able to install the core software that autoproxy uses. select version 1.19.2.
once busybox says it's fully installed, get autoproxy.
configure as needed.

Recently rooted my LG LS620 with towelroot v.3. After rooting I accidentally deleted the wrong file so now every time I attempt to open my settings I get a pop up that says Unfortunately, settings has stopped. Tried to factory reset the phone but didn't do anything but make it where I cannot install unknown apps or enable USB debugging. Does anyone know how to fix this or is my phone completely ruined?
Lg ls620 zv3
okay well your probably going to have to contact the lg website or customer support for this problem and start all over with towelroot..... i haven't tried this root method but it looks promising BUT! what i was able to do today was get my hands on a guys ls620zv3 and screw around with it.... boost mobile carrier... notice it's much more up to date that my lg730 hardware and software wise ... tried installing the clockwork tether app on his phone it just pulls up the package and stuff but doesn't recognize the contents... maybe because it has a 64bit platform and it can open the .apk's contents but cannot run it through it's sdk maybe i'm completely wrong and it has security provisions built in so you are not able to install apps directly unless it's through an google or amazon app store .... can anyone tell me if i can gain access to this operating system's 4.4.2 in order to install the clockwork mod onto the apps stage..... because i believe unless i didn't allow unknown source, mock locations/allow usb debug and that's causing the package installer to reject the clockwork.apk app i have no idea, i will try tommorow and tell this page my findings
---------- Post added at 07:34 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:14 AM ----------
okay let me clarify what i wrote a script above, When i downloaded the clockwork.apk on my lg730zv8 my package installer immediatly recognizes it as an installable phone application... and i can run it etc.... but what this ls620zv3 does it when i download it from cnet or wherever... it downloads once complete i click on the file in my downloads folder.... and what happens............... it opens the folder and i am able to sort through the inner contents of this folder and since the package installer on any normal phone installs the application and grants it access to it's layers of abstraction this ls620 apparently only allows you to view the contents of the .apk and i couldn't find a runnable auto run shell or w/e inside the clockwork application. I believe like i said above this phone doesn't grant permission to the package installer due to a security provision created by boost mobile..... i wondered if not allowing mock locations, enableing usb debugging and allowing unkown sources what the cause of this or...... i wonder if you can root this phone and allow a downloadable package installer to download denied application BECAUSE i know that built in the lg730zv8 the clockwork.apk is UNDOWNLOABLE from google play.. it simply says this application is not compatible on your carrier.... but it downloads and is installed by the android package installer... or because theres a google play package installer and an android package installer this ls620 is set to google play package installer and needs to be set to android package installer to avoid any security provisions hmmm not gonna try anything crazy except to get this guys phone to accept clockwork.apk
Just saw this on the official Nubia page, appears to be android 5.0 with split partitions for Nubia Z7 mini dual sim:
http://www.nubia.cn/service.php?sid=5
(use translate)
Has anyone tried this? or seen it before?
I am rooted and gapped so I am a few versions behind as I lost OTA abilities, has anyone got this OTA? Would prefer to do it via this method than using their tool.
EDIT:
Looks like tomorrow is the day:

new stable Lollipop for mini's been officially released
link( in Chinese): http://pan.baidu.com/s/1hqGSezy (password:5mpy , MD5: 2651F3539381AA0B12A21B54729E2EBD )
Above rom can only be upgraded via official upgrade software: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1bnc0J1d (password: 2mua)
Be warned if u choose this one u must use the upgrade software I gave in the link, because there's some changes to the software, using old ones will cause boot loop.
Be warned using this method will lose all ur personal data and apps. U can only upgrade using this method if ur current rom is official 1.82 (4.4 Kitkat) or 2.03, 3.01 (5.0 Lollipop), if using other roms, CM or YIOS for example, the upgrade software will refuse to continue >_<. However, using MIUI6 is OK, because it is based on official 1.82.
recovery zip ROM: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1pJxaYM3 (passowrd:el1j, MD5: 4C409536B1124A86E65F1B66E94E0C2C)
This zip file can be flashed using both official and CM based recovery, provided ur current ROM is official 3.01, otherwise boot loop is also expected
As the files are too large, the only way to download them is by install a clound file management program issued by Baidu. Blame Nubia for not using cloud disk with English support
download link of Baidu cloud file manager:http://bcscdn.baidu.com/netdisk/BaiduYunGuanjia_5.2.7.exe
Just an FYI for other users lookign to upgrade.
My update went well. I installed 1.82 via custom reocvery method. This lost all data but thats what i wanted, to start fresh.
the I used the nubia updater tool to flash the 3.12 rom.
Once the rom is loaded, you will find a lot of junk chinese apps so you will want to clear those out and of course no root or google apps.
here is how to achieve this:
Root - download kingroot pak file from google, run it and you will have root. Its a bit bloaty, you can uninstall all the apps it creates except kinguser (this is the equivalent of superSu) - would be interested to now if anyone else has found a root method that works.
Install custom recovery:
https://mega.co.nz/#!fsMXSC6A!2Vpqy2SGIC_WbFAqNgzE6WgArW2vaWha-zwp_o7yvqE
Enable USB debugging
extract nx507j_twrp_2_8_5_0_NEW archive
connect phone via usb
run recovery.bat
(thanks to another xda user for this)
Boot into the recovery, and install:
pa_gapps-modular-mini-5.0.1-20150418-signed.zip
(google for that file, others may work but this is minimal and does what you need)
Once rebooted, open playstore, enter your gmail, then your contacts and calendar will be synced!
install an app like links2sd or root uninstall and start clearing out all of the garbage apps.
That should be enough to get you started. I will attempt to install xposed tomorrow.
Xposed:
see my other thread for xposed
So I seem to be stuck. I had used the nubia updater to get to 2.03 and rooted and dropped in TWRP. After that I did a TWRP backup. Next I did the usual steps and flashed CM12. Now I want to update again; but, my backup file of 2.03 is corrupted and won't boot. When I try to use the nubia update tool it doesn't see the phone even though it says the driver is installed correctly. I have also tried the steps that @rx1 posted on 7 May, but that hasn't worked yet. In my device manager settings it has Android Phone with a dropdown that says Android Composite ADB Interface and the driver is installed correctly. However, a little further in the list it says Other Devices and lists Android with the yellow exclamation. Despite what I try it won't find the driver for that one. It's confusing because one says it is correctly installed (as does the Qualcomm Drivers installer) and the other does not. Ohh, and when I look at my computer (sorry not a PC guy, borrowing from a friend) under Devices with Removable Storage, the phone shows as a DVD player. Any ideas or help out here?
Sorry, posted in wrong thread.
I think you wiped system when you installed CM 12 or later . Your phone has already merged partitions and you don't need Nubia Tools anymore.
- Go to TWRP
- Downlod form PC a 3.01 or 3.12 ROM , preferable rooted .
- install it after wipe only " factory reset " .
If your PC can't see the phone ( only as DVD ) ....try to re-install CM 12 from phone .
The only driver that works:
uninstall all existing items form your device manager, disconnect phone
download package: https://mega.co.nz/#!GN9GSQZL!F4ZMFAPPJKR8VBM0wqPWTaBB2Fuv6C1Go0bFl3fD6SM
run it and select option 1 install drivers
reconnect phone
(dont use this tool for anything other than dirvers on z7 mini.
Also agree with poster above you shouldn't be using nubia tool to flash a cm ROM. Use the instructions cm provide.

Thanks for your help. Although, I will say that I used TWRP to flash CM12, not the nubia updater. I do know that much. Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but it seems one of you is saying that I should use the update tool to get to 3.01 or 3.12 and the other seems to say flash it with TWRP; am I misunderstanding something here?

The package says Z7Max? Is it actually for the mini?
Yes, as I said above only use this tool to install drivers. They are the same. Don't use it for anything else on a mini.

Thanks. That was my only problem. I had been using the wrong drivers. It worked quick and simple, just like it did before.
First of all hello everyone since this is my 1st post
I upgraded to official 3.01 Lollipop and I want to ask if it is possible to install playstore without root since I want to run an app that won't work if the phone is rooted and I can't find it anywhere else other than playstore, otherwise I would be just fine without all the google apps.
Alternatively would it work if I installed a pre rooted ROM and then unroot it, is that possible?
Hope this thread is suitable for these questions and thanx in advance to anyone that can help.
What app is it called? Maybe I can find it on play store then send you the apk install file.
It's called OTE TV GO but from what I've read even if you can find the apk it will not work unless you have downloaded it from your device.
Well I don't know how much luck you will have because it shows as incompatible with my device. (maybe because Im root?)
Anyways the way to do it is, either from chrome or firefrox install this extension on your PC
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/.../cgihflhdpokeobcfimliamffejfnmfii?hl=en&gl=VN
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/apk-downloader/
go into the options and enter your device ID and email etc. then yeah just do as it says, go to the playstore then the extension will allow you to directly download the apk file then copy it and then install to your device.
Second option is, there is a app called "rootcloak" that will hide the fact you are rooted from any apps you choose to, so in theory the playstore and ota thing wont know you have root.
I tried the firefox extension but when I try to download any app I get "Cannot download this app.
Login session has expired or your email and device ID are incorrect/not activated on Google Play app"
Will try second option as soon as possible. Thanx anyway

Install KingRoot_com.cafeteam.installer.apk [v 4.1 (lightning bolt icon)]
Install XZRECOVERY_FR.MYDEDIBOX.ZRECOVERY.APK
Reboot to recovery and install Z3-lockeddualrecovery2.8.26-RELEASE.combined.zip from SDCARD
If root isn't working, disable, block, and prevent access and root authorizations to any other Kingâ™” apps, and add 1.0.2 and 4.1 versions to the whitelist and always grant permissions without prompt. I actually installed purify and whitelist within that too, but mostly I used purify to remove the 3 other versions of KingUser and KingRoot that did not work. Hopefully these links will have you able to have only the copies that are necessary and work.
This worked on 5.0.2 Lollipop, there's no reason it shouldn't work on 4.4.4 tho.
This is the source link I used with flashtool by androxyde to get 5.0.2 on the Z3V. I used a Mac for this part, and lost root which is why I redid it and made this guide.
https://mega.nz/#!24swjQgQ!7o4tB05IE...i7YVHZazz8h8iQ
Quick note about 5.0.2 upgrade:
Screenwake issues are gone.
Small apps are back.
Device identifier is Z3.
Also, I've included the link to the XPOSED installer for the Z3V.
I highly recommend the XTether/MotoTether XposedApp for the Z3V to unlock WiFi Broadcasting.
