Hi everyone,
I experienced stuttering audio when I play back mp3 through the stock player or Poweramp. The stuttering appeared after I updated to 4.3 (MK6 and ML2).
It happens shortly after I turn off the screen and lasts for a couple of seconds when I play mp3s through the internal speaker, headphone or bluetooth.
I tried stock- and Boeffla-Kernel with almost every setting I could think of but it won't disappear.
Any Idea?

Hi I am new to the forums and I looked all over, but I couldn't find an explanation to a problem that I'm having.
I also don't know if it is just my device therefore I am posting in the Galaxy Player forums just to be safe.
When I attempt to use Poweramp, Jetaudio, Player Pro, or sometimes even the default music player, I occasionally will have
my song interrupted by a loud static noise followed by 3-4 beeps. I have noticed that the problem keeps occuring only in Jetaudio
when I plug in my headphones while the song is playing. Yet with Poweramp, as soon as I play any song, it just goes straight to the static and then freezes up. This problem started happening recently after I overclocked, but it still occurs even after I reset the clocks back to factory defaults.
Player info:
Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0 default everything except it's rooted and has Go Launcher
I appreciate any help that you guys can give me. Thank you for your time.

How many apps do you have on your player? This happened to me too, and I realized that I had to many apps (running in the background) using to much memory on the GP 4.0. Try getting rid of some of the apps you're not using, and if all else fails factory reset the whole device.
Hello there,
Whenever I am playing music and I lock the screen, at the unlocking of the screen the music stops.
This happens while using Spotify or the stock music app (the music pauses) and in the FM radio (it just turns itself off).
The problems started last night after I updated my Galaxy S3 to the latest firmware (4.1.2, don't know what other information is needed).
As I listen a lot of music on my phone and I often lock/unlock it while listening, this really annoys me, is there anyone with similar problems who has found a way to fix this?
Thanks
Hi guys
I've noticed strange issue. Music player us turning on itself randomly. I'm using now latest Frayab update of stock rom but this happened in the past with several other ROMs. ie when I'm driving car and talking by hf set i can see pause icon in stat bar. Only way to get rid ov it is to run music player and turn it off in its menu.
It is annoying.
Any suggestion how to turn it off for ever ?
Hello Guys,
First of all, a happy newyear to all of you
Since a few months i encouter an anoying problem whenever i play some music via Bluetooth. As soon as my screen gets off, the sound starts to stutter on irregular base. The app i'm using to play my music is Google Play Music.
On the moment that the sound is stuttering and i activate my screen, the stuttering stops immediately and the music keeps playing smoothly.
I already did a search on google and this forum, but couldn't get an appropriate answer to solve this problem.
The ROM that's installed on my device is UltimaRom 15.1 i.c.w. Boeffla Kernel (default profile).
Does anyone can help me to fix this irritating sound problem?
Thanks

I had a similiar problem: try another cpu governor with more perfomance like lulzactiveq. but maybe battery drain will increase
Hi all,
I'm facing a really weird problem with my Z2. I use a pair of Creative EP-630s with my Z2 and PowerAmp as my music player app. Yesterday, while playing music, suddenly my earphones went silent. I thought the jack was loose, and tried pushing it hard into the phone output jack - doing which I noticed a split second of music output before it went silent again. I tried doing this a few more times with the same result and gave up. Later I tried the noise cancelling NC31 earphones which came with the phone and it started playing music normally. No problems whatsoever. I tried the EP-630 again, and I got the same split second audio and silence. I tried 2-3 other earphones on it, and all of them played split second audio and then went silent. However, the NC-31 is playing fine.
There is no problem with the EP630 as it is playing fine on my other phones. I tried restarting, leaving the phone off for a period and then turning it on, but to no avail. If it's a HW problem then the NC31 wouldn't have played. But it keeps playing fine! I know about the OMTP and CTIP jack standard thingie, but the thing is, the EP-630 payed absolutely fine for 2-3 months and it suddenly went silent. I can't take it to the Service, as I bought it without warranty. Any ideas? I'm pretty stumped.
I really don't like the sound output of the NC31, otherwise I'd have continued using it.
EDIT: I forgot to add, I'm using a D6503, unrooted with stock firmware on KitKat 4.4.4. The problem is the same with the Walkman player, Video player and VLC.
EDIT 2: I bit the bullet and performed a factory reset. It's working now, at least for the time being. How strange.
