[Q] Phicomm FWS 710 Pro stuck before boot animation - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi xda community,
since yesterday the smartphone is unable to boot.
When it starts, it just keeps displaying the Phicomm logo, not even getting to the boot animation.
The recovery menu is inaccessable, so does anyone know how I can reflash the stock ROM?
If you might find it useful, here are some technical informations taken from the website:
Manufacturer: Shanghai Feixun Communication Co. Ltd.
Brand: Phicomm
Model: FWS 710 Pro
OS: Android 4.0.4
CPU: Qualcomm MSM7227A 1GHz
Memory RAM: 512MB + ROM: 512MB
MicroSD car slot up to 32GB
There are a few more on the english Phicomm website located here under the "Specifications" tab.
I tried to resolve this problem with the help of search engines, but did not find anything related to this specific model.
Then I found the [AIO]Universal Android Flasher, connected the phone via USB cable, started the program and clicked some buttons, which resulted in the message:
Code:
ERROR: Device not found
A quick search suggested to download the adb USB driver, which also couldn't find the device.
Please help me with this. I can't find any valuable information on recovering this smartphone without a recovery menu.

Bump.
Is there really no way of getting the phone back to life?
What about opening it up and establishing a serial connection?

[Q] Sansui Etab 801 Cortex A8 Problem

Update: I just got the original firmware sent via customer service.. but do not know if it would work or not.. Just updating..I'm scared cuz the firmware I flashed it with was for a Cortex A9 device.
I have a Sansui Etab 801 Cortex A8 Android Tablet. It got stuck in boot loop and after trying several firmwares which didnt work, kept asking for uImage_recovery, uImage, u-boot-aml-ucl.bin, factory_update_param.aml etc file. After some search I came across a ROM, for Ramos tablet, I used it cuz it has the uImage_recovery, uImage, u-boot-aml-ucl.bin, factory_update_param.aml files etc. When I inserted it into the TF card and did an upgrade, the device would not start up at all. Just some lights on the controls.
When I insert into PC, it recognizes it as M3-chip, I found out about the AML flashing tool..I am stuck at "write data to ram failed" and I guess it is because of usb_spl.bin. Is there a way to create a separate usb_spl.bin for my device or it IS IT THE SAME FOR ALL TABLETS?
If it is the same for all device, thats a problem as I'm just stuck at write data to ram failed.
HELP!
I found out that the firmware I flashed it with was for a Cortex A9 device...
Thanks!

[Q] ORION TAB-700QC firmware needed (atm7029 cpu)

Sal all,
I cannot find firmware for this tablet. It's a 7inch, dual camera, atm7029 quad core cpu, that doesn't start, but i can write firmware with Actions Pad Product Tool.
The only available firmwares for this type of cpu (atm7029) i was able to find, were from Ainol tablets, but these are not good.(only lights start 1sec)
Can someone help ?
10x in advance !
Hi! There is a similar device firmware from (Russian): (yadi.sk/d/Wku6HWTxKkaKa)
But WiFi and camera other.
System image
Here is the image of the system partition. Dumped with ADB from a working tablet. (512MB)
(mediafire.com/download/roc8870rirvt3hw/actc_system.img)
And this is the image of the recovery partition: (48MB)
(mediafire.com/download/fd30kaio8xb490j/acta_recovery.img)
If you want to see what's inside the images, mount the image in Linux, or use Linux Reader if you're using Windows.
How to use the actc_system.img and acta_recovery.img
Hi, I'm an android newbie needing help. I found this thread while searching for how to deal with a bootlooping Orion TAB-700qc tablet belonging to a friend.
Apparently my friend tried to update the tablet with the wrong update (I'm not really sure what he did), but it went into a bootloop -- it will not get past the "android" screen. I found how to go into the Recovery menu but nothing there would fix the problem. I have downloaded the actc_system.img and acta_recovery.img discussed in this thread, but I need step-by-step instructions for how to use them to get the tablet working again.
Can someone please direct me to instructions that I as a newbie will understand? I have worked a lot with pc's but I have almost no experience with androids.
Thanks,
cmNhu

[Q] Please help!

Hello, everyone!
I have a PRIVILEG S1 phone with the following specs:
CPU: Mediatek MTK 6515 single-core ARM
RAM: ~256MB
ROM: ~256MB
OS: Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread (Rooted with vROOT - only vROOT could do it.)
I have been testing what a rooted phone is able to do and accidentally deleted some system files. Now my phone is not turning on - shows ANDROID and stays there forever (maybe stuck in a boot loop?). However I've been able to bring up the bootloader menu (MUSIC_DOWN + POWER).
How can I find a good image (not necessarly 2.3.6) to restore my system to and how exactly to restore it?
Thank you!

Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Mini Q620 (Philippines local brand smartphone) Issue: Deadboot

I have the device as per the title of this thread says. I've flashed recovery before using fastboot, but this time around, since the device is completely dead, as in it won't boot up, nor show any notification lights (I also tried removing the battery and connecting the charger to see if the logo will appear, but it did not), I don't have any means to connect it to my pc using fastboot. Is there a way that I can "program" a stock rom via pc without the help of fastboot and other recovery? Please enlighten me on this one, I needed some ideas. I've searched that mediatek have spflashtool with the scatter file which is, basically, for most of mediatek devices. I'm hesitant to try that one as this phone is running on a sc8830 spreadtrum chip.
So there, any kind of help are highly appreciated. Thank you XDA more power .

Help with "Ployer momo11 III" Allwinner A31s - Bricked

About a year back I bought this tablet second-hand, No box, no cords, no manual, nothing.
All I have to go on is what is written on the backcase and inside the actual tablet.
The thing is that this specific model seem to be spoken of very lightly on the internet and there's been alot of missinformation regarding the actual model name, the CPU and the kernel...
Long story short, I misstook my tablet for the "momo11 Bird" and downloaded CM10 from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1821398
I flashed it, and as you can figure out, seeing I misstakenly downloaded a ROM for Rockchip when in reality I'm on a Allwinner A31s, I accidently bricked my device.
The key combination for recovery or fastboot does no longer work, and as I turn the tablet on it just shows the "ployer" logo and stays there.
It doesn't even reboot itself, it just shows the logo until the battery is dead.
After digging on the internet for what feels like forever, I now am almost entirely certain that I have successfully found the ACTUAL model in my possession.
Most important specs:
Product Type Tablet PC
Brand Ployer
Model MOMO11-III
Color Silver back cover
Shell Material Aluminum alloy
Operating System Stock Android 4.2 (Currently CM10 for momo11 Bird)
CPU Allwinner A31S Cortex-A7 quad-core 1.2GHz
GPU PowerVR SGX544 MP2
RAM 1GB DDR3
ROM (Nand Flash) 8GB
Now, in a desperate attempt to restore my tablet, I'm trying to locate either a stock firmware or a custom one, I don't really care aslong as it works.
The problem is that like previously mentioned, there's not alot of information regarding the "ployer momo11 iii"(momo11-3), and I have also not yet managed to find a ROM for it.
Another issue that I'm also faced with is that I can't seem to get my hands on any USB drivers for the tablet.
Is there anyone here who's got any experience with this tablet, or could help find the proper firmware, respectively the proper USB driver?
Someone please help as this is making me really sad....
