Covered by the warranty!?! Really!?! If it was broke when you first took your phone out of the box, then yes, the warranty would cover it. After you've had the phone, not so much.
That's basically like asking if the manufacturers warranty for your car will still cover your car after you've ran it in to a tree! Lol

Don't glue it, what if it breaks off in the phone? Just buy a replacement, they are not so expensive when you figure how much the phone is worth itself.

It does look legitimate. Have you been able to figure out how to remove the bottom cover on the back? Ideally, I'd love to know that I can replace that at any time as well.

The bottom piece will snap off. It just has a sticky tape wich makes you think you're about to break something but you won't. Took my phone apart after jumping in the pool with it last week.

The shiny back cover has some stuff on the underside that nfc needs to work properly I bet that bumps the price up a little too.

good luck, you might be able to get it exchanged since you haven't had it 2 weeks. Most likely they'll throw out the "it doesn't effect the performance of the device" excuse.
Nevermind the image didn't load for me before. Well that sucks man. Best of luck replacing it. Going to take extra special care now when handling the s pens.
Day 2 of owning my device, I somehow already chipped a very very small part of my screen. No idea how either

My Spen has been chipped since after a week. The phone was built crappy IMO. Im careful with my stuff and my screen is scratched and there are a couple chips around the phone.

Im in the same boat I here ya! Samsung makes great products but cut cost on cheaper meterials I too have a small scratch on my screen and I was babying the crap out of it when I was cleaning with a micro fiber cloth my last 4 phones over the past 2 years had no screen protectors and rarely did I get a scratch and I was much rougher knowing in advance from other threads that the note 2 was using cheaper quality material to cut costs ... My question is why they're making billions not millions but billions ... It pisses me off ...I want a replacement pen I know the scratch on the screen is so small that a screen protector will hide it

I just sanded mine down and made it all white polished the plastic to make it almost match the rear cover. Good as new and no more 'chrome' chipping!

The plastic for the SPen is rather soft. So yes it is an issue, but it doesn't affect performance at all, and the phone itself doesn't have the problem.

Wow guys. Really? You guys are whining over some microscopic paint chip? Be glad that's the extent of your problems with this phone. Every phone is going to have its problems. Paint will naturally come off if suffers regular abrasion, either from sliding in and out of the phone or from us handling it. I'm just glad this phone doesn't have real problems like a poor radio or battery over heat.

So I got my new wireless charging back from Samsung. I really like it, it adds a nice little bit of weight. Though it does have a slight hump to it which feels nice but it makes case not fit right. Otter box defender will not close.

It fits the neo hybrid with a bulge. But it fits and it charges and NFC works with the case on.
Also, I left it on a generic eBay charger pad last night and it was at 100% with no extra heat this morning. I'm sold.

Anyone know the charging rate? How warm does it get?
The wall charger is fastest at 2 amps. Plugging it into your computer's usb port is 0.5 amps. Qi is 0.625 amps, so a little faster than usb, but much slower than direct to wall.

It took a bit of "force" but its closed. The commuter by otterbox doesnt fit at all. As far as a screen protecter goes, the defender has one built in

I'm using a simple case bought from Amazon-a Spigen's Protective Bounce case

I bought my sview cover from them for 13 bucks and it was legit. It doesn't come in the fancy box but they sell the real stuff.... I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Has anyone else bothered to check the reviews on Amazon? They are overwhelmingly terrible. Even $7 is too much if it breaks in a week or even a month!

Lol I just read the reviews. 7$ is too much if it breaks? Lol I agree it's money but life's all about risks you live and learn I agree the reviews are not the best so for the next year I'm going to be getting a replacement lol

Actually i have one for myself and it's not too bad. Oh a tip though, if you put your atm cards on the slits, be sure to put it facing away from the screen. Had it for a few months now and everything is solid as it was when i got it. And the detachable inner case was a good idea if you wanna be less tacky.
