Hi.
I use GT-7100 not branded but rooted. I tried new update to 4.3 today (OTA + triangle away). However I after restart required to begin update I am getting only the screen "samsung galaxy note II GT-7100" and that's it. I tried to reboot it or even remove the batter but it gives the same effect. Any help please...
Regards.
I can go into the download mode but I can't go into recovery. I would be grateful for any help. Anyone?
Regards.

Hey guys.
My friend installed the official Jelly Bean update(XWLST) on his Indian Samsung Galaxy S II. He rooted it. He then installed Chainfire 3D, despite my warnings. Now, the phone shows the Galaxy S II logo and a yellow triangle with a ! when the power button is pressed, and then it switches off again. He gave it to me to fix it. I've tried flashing using Odin, no use. He used the Siyah S2 6.0b4.tar file to root it. I tried flashing it using that. Kies does not recognize the device, says it's not compatible with Kies 2.0, I tried factory reset from recovery mode, again, no use. I don't know what else to do. Please help me guys. Thanks in advance,
Androman 117.
Get a stock rom from Samfirmware with Odin, flash it. If it doesn't work, try another one. And another. And another.
That's the only way you're fixing this. NAND could be borked if it won't take a flash.
Also, you're being rather vague; 'I've tried flashing using Odin' - flashed what exactly with Odin ?
Hi,
I tried to manually update my Samsung Galaxy Note i717 (rooted) from 4.0.4 to 4.1.2. In Kies, I was able to enter the model number and serial number and the download began installing on the phone. The Kies closed itself, and the phone is still showing "Downloading...Do not turn off target!!"
In this state the phone is no longer recognized by Kies. Rebooting, restoring, removing/replacing the battery doesn't help.
Can someone please help me with this? I'm not really a phone techie.
I've looked into using Odin but one or more of the links to the download files are always gone.
Thanks,
Nena

Hi there,
Maybe try this, it should help: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
Although the steps are for the Note N7000, you should still be able to find everything in the same websites (samfirmware, etc) but just look for i717.
Hope it helps!
Hello everyone
I am very new to this website as I just signed up and registered today. I am currently having a problem with my android phone, and I cant figure out how to resolve it.
The problem that I am having is that last week I was updating my phone when something in the device and caused my phone to become bricked. And after spending many hours on Youtube I finally found a video that helped me recover my phone by flashing the phones memory with clockworks recovery using odin and I was able to get my phone back up and working. But now whenever I turn my phone on I see the yellow triangle appear on bootup and I want to get rid of the triangle.
I downloaded the apk file for triangleaway but in order for me to be able to run it on my phone my phone needs to be rooted, and I have tried many ways to root my phone but it still says that my phone does not have root access.
My phone is a Samgung Galaxy Ace X II
Model Name GT-S7560M
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dear all,
I bought a used Galaxy Player 4.2 (international version) and tried to install CWM Recovery by using Odin. I've waited a long time, but Odin was completely stuck at the step 'SetupConnection'. I disconnected and restarted the device. This was a huge mistake, I think.
Everytime when I turn on the player a message appears and keeps on the screen - 'Firmware upgrade encountered an issue' - even when I try to boot in Download Mode.
I tried to flash 'YP-G1FullRestoreIntl2.3.6.tar' which I found here, but no chance. Odins tells me that it was not possible to finish the operation. Hrmpf!
Any ideas what I can do to bring my Galaxy Player back to life or is this the end?
Your help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Simon
