Xtheme module works on my l9 p769. When u open the xtheme app it pops up with a message saying something like "module not installed"... something like that. Anyways... just press the back button when you get the message and you will be able to use the app. I haven't found a way to make the message stop showing up.
LunarUi works on my phone and the Cobalt themes work really well on my phone too. I will post a screenshot in a minute to show you.

I did not see this feature available by itself, but I did some digging and found and tested a version that works on the Note 2 (See this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2048668
For reference it works on my deodex rom (see pic), not sure about odex (or if any Xposed mod works on odex for that matter).
Happy modding!
Works on stock rooted odex.

confirmed.. awesome.. was my favorite part about my note.. glad to see it works on the S4
Please excuse my ignorance... I just rooted my phone and haven't changed anything (no ROM, just stock the way it came out of the box)... I take it that's odex? Should work?
Thanks!!
edit: I tried it anyway and it worked... a little slow but working Now I can use my phone and calendar at the same time... makes it a BAZILLION times easier to dial-in to conferences!!

Yes, you are Odex. According to above it will work for you. Just install the .apk. I wouldn't use the 240 version.
tried it on Hyperdrive and works perfect
Multi Window Manager works as well if you dont want to use Xposed https://play.google.com/store/apps/...EsImNvbS5iamJpbmMubXVsdGl3aW5kb3dtYW5hZ2VyIl0.
This really should be in General.
There is no development. Its a link to an App and someone elses work.

Works perfect on S4 to get around the bug where it drags a different icon just load all the apps you want to have multi window then reboot and they will be in alphabetical ordered and its easier to drag them in place and keep the icons you want.

1) Have you installed the Xposed framework?
2) Have you enabled the module within the xposed?
Have put together this flashable zip to enable close all apps.
I haven't tested as my device is still away...
This is what it should look like...
It should work as but if not then let me know...

LINK
METHOD:
0) MAKE A BACKUP !! !!
1) download file
2) reboot into recovery
3) install zip from SD card
4) reboot
Hi. Installed the zip but it doesn't work. My "X" sign is on the top left corner and when I tap on it, it just closes the recent app screen and when I tap the recent app icon, the apps are still there

Great work!!
But it make my quick settings icon smaller.
Close app function is no problem.
The icon is on the top of the left.
I use this in .257 locked bootloader.
so mixed results?? does it close all apps? or just the most recent? or not work?
Right... the icons will be smaller, as I had modified that in my last build... The nav-keys will be the same.. but I think its better like that... (yeah no?)

I'm guessing with a tweak module like @bkk99213 suggested

rom port
Maybe someone could port the G3 S rom to our device?
They both have almost the same hardware.

As I know, the only way to get a G3 like UI on stock rom (ATM) is to use G2 Tweaksbox, but it looks kinda bad, I'm talking about that empty space:
i imgur com/ysMMVLv.png?1
Is there any way to fix that?
If the answer is no, I think I have another solution:
youtube com/watch?v=RJmuIYWyzoA&index=5&list=UU2sWzkO6Wfnwbmt6afs29HQ
My old device (LG G Pro Lite) has 4.4.2, the same resolution as G2 mini, and thanks to this guy it has a ported SystemUI.apk from G3. My question is: Can we use it on our device? Or maybe we can port it.
Here is a download link for G Pro Lite's ported SystemUI.apk
mediafire com/folder/hjd35drryhr22/StatusBar_G3_4.4.2_%5BGPL%5D#hjd35drryhr22
I'm sorry for those weird links, but as you see, I don't have enough posts to be allowed to post outside links.
You can fix the empty space by checking "hide labels" somewhere in options then rebooting
And cretu1 you might pm cloudyfa if he can do sth Then ofc donate for his work

In addition to the g2 tweakbox tweak which gives a little g3 look. There's two apps or so and some flammable UI tweaks on 4pda's firmware thread for the phone

A lot of people don't have custom ROMs (like me). Whether it's because there's bugs, or there is no custom ROM...
With previous versions of Android, we were able to use cm the themes on a stock/near stock android device with Xposed.
The problem is that as of now, Xposed isn't compatible with Lollipop.
Now, being that Cm engine has been ported to a lot of other ROMs, and in the past cm themes were able to be used with Xposed when they didn't come natively in a ROM; so it probably won't be hard to port it now.
I guess it should be able to be done by either:
1. Putting all the relevant files in the system partition...
2. If that won't work, maybe a flashable zip will.
Either way it will need root.
Now; the main problem is that I'm not a developer, and I have no idea what I'm doing. So if someone can work on this, it will be very much appreciated.
Edit: I just found this: http://nexus5.wonderhowto.com/how-t...s-5-with-darker-material-design-look-0158907/
I'm not sure if it works on other devices, like gpe (which is what I'm using), but I anyway don't like it. But at least there is one alternative, albeit not a practical one.
Bump

If by Xposed u mean the X-Theme engine module, it,s nowhere near the capabilities of cm theme engine and no it doesn't use ported cm themes.

I have seen a no root workaround for getting themes menu back on our LS990
but it requires you to keep an unwanted icon on your home screen.
Here is the permanent fix.
follow the attached images one by one to get this done.
Thanks are appreciated if it works for you.
