Hi Everyone,
My brother's galaxy s2 is giving me a fake available storage
I have a CUSTOM ROM (Paranoid android i flashed today) and before that Resurrection Remix - the bug is not from today..
this bug doesn't allow him to install/update apps, taking even a device screenshot..

Do you see the impossible?
by the info I have 200MB available, but the bar of the storage on the top shows that I have like 80% storage available..
I have tried doing some stuff like installing "DiskUsage" app and it gave me some of the following info:

By looking at the last image - is it possible that lost+found take this storage?
I have also tried HAWKER's GS2ROMClean (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2100558)

Thanks in advanced,
Din.

Hi guys,
I wish I can find the solution for my problem as you see from the screen shot my S3 have 2.69gb available yet every time I want to install something or download king from Google play its says influence memory storage knowing that I have the international version with wanimlite jb rom
Hi all,
[ I did a search but didn't find much, so please don't shoot me down. ]
I had moved some apps to external SD (mainly games and very big apps). After a long while, I upgraded my NeatROM firmware based on Android 4.1.2 to a newer version of NeatROM also based on Android 4.1.2 - without wipe (which is supported, I've always done that between NeatROM roms).
All went smooth and works fine, except that the apps on the external sd now appear orphaned. They show greyed out and can't be launched. I know I can reinstall them but I'd like to avoid that.
Is there any fix to make the OS recognize them? I presume some config files now point to the wrong location for those apps. I'd be grateful for some pointers.
Thanks in advance.

also,if you have made backups[via titanium or so] of those apps, just restore them.
Evening Devs,
Iam running CM12 on Samsung N7000.
(A)The problem is that the apps are consuming space (i know lollipop enables ART runtime by default and it consumes more space) than ever and iam running out of space. I can hardly install 10 apps on my phone right now. Can anyone let me know how to repartition the internal SD so that i can move all the apks and apps private files to it thereby freeing internal memory using Link2SD plus.
request to help me with step by step instructions please...
(B) The homescreen freezes most of the times when i return and pops up to select TREBUCHET again. any idea what's wrong?
Model: N7000 Samsung
OS:CM12
Version:5.0.2
Mod version: 12-20150317-UNOFFICIAL-n7000
Root:Yes
Thanks
Hi all, I have problem with my Galaxy S II, the problem is that I used to have 12 GB of memory, and now it show me that I have 2,50 GB of memory, and before the problem I'm was using the original firmware, that was on the phone when I bought it (2012 year), and it was terrible, so I instaled Cyanogenmod 10, after that I updated to Cyanogenmod 12, and finaly I updated to Cyanogenmod 13, on the 12th and 13th I had the problem, so I wanted to get back to the 11th, but I can't, because of the memory issue, that says "Insufficient storage space available in System partition."
So what should I do because my phone now don't have any OS, it only have ClockworkMod Recovery, and I searched in Google for help, but nothing helped me, I tried everything I found about Odin, about flashing different type of files, and nothing, if someone could help me ? If you know something write it.
I used flash tool to upgrade Oukitel C5 Pro (16GB ROM) from Android stock 6.0 to 7.0. Now when I go to settings - Storage Settings, it tells me 7.83 GB total used of 16.0 GB. When I go in for details I have 2.55 GB apps and the other items listed (images, videos, audio, other, cached data) are minimum.
Would just appreciate a confirmation that this is correct?, so I can continue setting up phone. I think I had a lot more free before the upgrade. Is about 5 GB correct for Android 7 to use. Maybe the extra partition for the seamless updates?
Or is there something hanging around from the upgrade?
I used "firmware update" and default options (all items ticked) in flash tool. I have tried a clear cache partition but made no difference.
(I asked in the device specific thread but there is not much traffic there.)
EDIT: Seems to be correct. Found an app that shows 3.78GB reserved for Android and 10.9 for apps and files giving a total of 14.68GB, which of course is 16GB unformatted.
