Hello
I've got Faea F1, on the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 8225Q (more tech at: http://www.faeamobile.com/faea-f1-techspec)
I,ve try to flash new ROM via USB (instruction and software at: http://forum.faeamobile.com/thread-1048-1-1.html)
But something was wrong, and my phone is bricked. I think it need new flash, but for that moment phone is completely brick, nothing happened when I connected device, it's only black screen.
Maybe is the solution how to flash phone with this chipset, and maybe I can use it for that phone?
I'm sorry for my question, but I'm only user, and I don't have proffesional knowledge. Sorry for my terrible english too.
------edit-------
I found instruction:
1. Remove Battery
2. Hold Both Volume keya ( + and - )
3. Connect to the PC whith USB CABLE
4. Hold for 4 secunds Power Buttion
5. F1 entered to Flash mode. At screen only black picture. No any info
6. After This Go to the QDL.exe and FLASH Firmware
but after flash nothing happened.

When it says "reset device", then remove the battery, insert it and let it boot normally.

not sure if it'll do any good but have u tried hard reset?
power it down, press and hold both volume up and down buttons and press and hold power button.
recovery menu should apeear then and u should be able to do a factory reset.
not sure if ur phone will boot into recovery in current state

Hello,
Today I unlocked the bootloader of my E10i and tried to flash the kernel with anroid 2.2
Well, I accidentaly selected X10's kernel instead of E10's. It flashed without any fail but now the phone wont boot at all.
I've tried fastboot and flashtool mode on "flashtool" so i can flash back the original kernel but the mobile can't be recognised at all from the pc.
It can't neither enter flash mode (back button while plugging USB), nor fastboot mode (vol up while plugging USB).
Screen will not even wake. When i connect it to charge. the loght won't even come up.
I've searched all the internet and didn't find a solution to my problem.
If there is a way so I can get my phone back i would be gratefull to help me.
Sorry for my English.

I accidently flashed x10mini's kernel to my x8 before but it could turn on with a blank screen. Then reflashing x8's kernel solved the problem.
Anyways try to take out battery then replace after 7 minutes (there's a black cable in back of your phone, you can disconnect it using a screwdriver)
If still no sign of life (no vibration when pressing power button or turning to flash mode) so it's a HARD BRICK
only can repaired by Sony service center or jTag box
(Sony service is recommended)
Sorry

My phone is not restarting. I am using a Samsung Vibrant T959.
I really love the phone since it a gift from my sister and I hope i can fix it. It had no issues, with a stock 2.1 firmware, but last month I installed ICS on my phone after which I started receiving me errors.I guess the ICS version i installed was not very stable. Usually restarting the phone would fix the problems and I would be good to go. However last evening when I got the error I restarted the phone 2 times but I would still receive the errors. The 3rd time I restarted it, the phone got stuck on the animation screen and did not boot.
I tried the recovery mode and it worked fine.
I took a backup of my data using the USB debugging mode of the phone.
Since I was irritated with this version of ICS i tried to root my phone using Odin.
Odin failed. The phone was stuck on the downloading screen for some time so i disconnected the phone from my computer and now the phone will not start.
It does not boot, it does not go the recovery mode nor the download mode. when I press the power button or the three buttons (volume and power) together the screen shows a mobile phone a computer and a disconnect between the three (phone ! PC screen) .
I do not know how to fix it. Any help on this would be appreciated..

"SOFT" BRICKED WHILE USING ODIN?

If you are getting a "Phone.. ! ..Computer" image (seen above) when booting phone, yes, you are bricked but it is reversible! Just follow these steps...
Make sure you have ODIN OPEN with admin privileges!
1.) Take off your back cover, remove your sim & mirco sd card.
2.) Remove your battery.
Make sure you have the USB plugged into your PC but NOT your phone!
3.) Hold the volume buttons.
4.) Put the battery in.
5.) Put the USB in.
You don't necessarily need the download mode image to be present. As long as you are getting the COM ID to light up yellow in ODIN, just flash back to stock like normal.

Hey guys,
So recently I got a SM-G928X Live Demo Unit. I just read that flashing G928F firmware is completely fine and so I did aaaaand well, I am stuck in recover. Forgot to flash a custom recovery, also the phone has Factory Reset Protection so I am here with:
Android Recovery
MMB29K.G928FXXU2BPB6
samsung/zenbltexx/zenlte
6.0.1/MMB29K/G928FXXU2BPB6
user/release-keys
volume up/down and power
____________________
then goes normal recovery options
and at the bottom of the screen, there's
Supported API: 3
dm-verity verification failed...
Need to check DRK first...
Anyway I can't get to download mode, cant wipe data, cant flash from ADB/SD Card. When connected to PC no software recognises the device so yeah, that's a great situation to be in, right?
So if any of you have any idea how to make this thingy work again, I'm up for anything.
Aand I'm in the wrong forum right.. Sorry for that
Thanks

Well one thing might still work. You could try and make yourself a download mode dongle. Just google Samsung download mode dongle and try to make one. IIRC all you need is a microUSB plug for the phone and a resistor with a certain resitance (can't recalm the value). Then plug in the microUSB plug and just hold the resistor between two ends of the plug. This should force your phone into download mode and you should be able to flash it again. Good luck!
Edit: found a picture showing you what you need to connect

You can also find Samsung download mode jig dongles pretty cheap on the web. But going to a hardware store and getting a USB connector and a resistor just was the faster way to do it for me.

Try Emergency Backup:
Turn off your phone and connect it to your computer using USB cable. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power Button for 15 seconds, until the device restarts and enters the eRecovery mode. Select "Emergency backup" . Works on EMUI 9.1 only!

If you do not have access to eRecovery, you will probably not save your data.
To restore your phone you could :
- try to boot right to Recovery mode to wipe data/hard reset (it will erase all data in internal storage)
- download and use a dload package (aka "Service ROM", can be found here : https://androidhost.ru ) with an sd card or an USB-OTG flashdrive in dload mode. Before you do anything, read carefully Software Upgrade Guidline in "ReleaseDoc". Process will erase all the data from your device !
P.S.: Looks like system update failure...( "reboot reason ap_s_abnormal 64" )
Any chance of make a backup? :crying:

Tried to flash an android 11 rom (was already on another android 11 custom rom), phone won't turn on now, only black screen. Holding power button + volume keys will only make the device restart(it disappears and reappears in device manager), so i cant get into fastboot. ADB devices and Fastboot devices won't detect it. In device manager it appears as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008.

Tried flashing stock rom in mi flash tool, it either says cannot receive hello packet, or cannot read from port com3.
Now i don't have a phone, so if anyone can try to fix this please help.
Same here. but mine won't even restart, the display is pure black & no vibrations are happening no matter what combination of buttons I'm doing,
Also- I don't even get to the flashing part on the Mi Flash tool. I keep on getting a `Input string was not in the correct format`. Altought I'm using the same dir name & also tried the same version of the Flash Tool as a tutorial I had seen on youtube.
Update: managed to fix it using this guide: https://docs.google.com/document/u/0/d/1CbIhdB14-kVzTulNpKBJjB1-R4y1hD3AlGZ5nGlkgik/mobilebasic
Only difference i had to do, that after each download i had to long press power button on the phone until the download button disappeared in QFIL, and after it reappeared i had to press it instantly otherwise it would give an error.

Thank you so much.
Turns out that the `Sahara failed` error I had mentioned up above, was because I didn't long press the phone as you mentioned after every Download.
TO THE READERS:
I had to disconnect the battery for these downloads. When the battery was connected I kept on getting these weird `Sahara` errors.
In addition to that, As @gergmt mentioned, I had to disconnect and connect the USB after each download. Or else, the `Sahara` errors would've attacked as well.
I had also long pressed the power button & volume up upon each time I had connected the phone to my computer, but I do not know if that step is also necessary.
Best regards and best of luck to you all!
P.S: Now I just need to figure out why I'm getting into a bootloop of the Android One screen (Had just flahsed SHRP & Bliss' ROM)
