Hi, I have Micromax Doodle 2 Phone which I rooted and then while installing Chainfire3d, there was a message saying 'if the device does not boot, you may need to flash ROM'
and like it said, my device got stuck on reboot.
I have no clue what to do.. The phone does not have a SD Card slot. and I don't know how to copy ROM files into the drive.
Please help.

do you have doodle 2 stock Rom or nandroid backup ?
is your pc detecting your phone ?
is there something like a pc suite for micromax devices to update phones ?
if none of the above works then you should probably give your phone to a micromax service centre.
if your phone is under warranty, they will do it for free !
flash stock rom via sp flash tools. install necessary drivers for your phone on your pc.

My PC was not detecting the Phone and I could not go to 'fastboot mode' as well..
But I went to the service center and they replaced my phone since It was just few days old.
I have one more query,
Is it possible to install Paranoid Android ROM on this phone (doodle 2)
I really want to try it but I'm afraid I'll brick the phone again.
Thanks a lot for response.

Okay, I installed CM9 ShockGenMOD on my Xperia U and it worked flawlessly. Later I saw this thread in APPS section "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2340073" and installed it using CWM on my phone, my bad it said JB only
Now my phone isn't proceeding ahead ShockGen logo after the installation. Xperia U did not have removable SD card so I can't even add NEW rom from PC to start from scratch.
What do I do? How do I fix it? Please help!!!

Have you used PC Comapanion before?
If you have you can repair the phone without connecting the phone.
Click start under support zone, click start under phone tablet software update, click repair in the window that says can't find phone / tablet,, PCC wil start downloading files and will ask you to connect in flash mode.
The phone must be turned off before connectinmg in flash mode.

You will need to downalod and install flashtool install the drivers that come with it and find and download the right formware for your phone.
Download stock ftf and use flashtool to flash ftf look on here for how to use flash tool . Will solve all your problems

Thank you very much guys! Flash tool worked THANKS
sorry for my late reply.
I will suggest that you should always have a backup in case of incidents like these.. this is a development site.
Accidents happen while developing.
Flashtool is always the best way to recover your phone and always have nandroid backup when you install a new mod.
Because when you flash to stock you lose your data but restoring nandroid backup using custom kernel solves the problem!
Hope i helped.
Thanks everyone my prob is solved! I did flashed it

You need to install the ADB sony drivers... 's1fastboot' requires these. Do a search on google and they will pop up.
actually here are the drivers:
HSPA+ http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/drivers/xperia-z-ultra-driver/
LTE http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/drivers/xperia-z-ultra-c6833-c6806-c6843-driver/
If PC companion still doesnt work then you will need to use 'flashtool' and can then flash an FTF firmware file.
flashtool: http://dfiles.eu/files/lbbuacfhe
.532 firmware: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_rMaA9i_MUSRi1zWlpCOXV4RUE/edit?usp=sharing
I was thinking of making a video on how to do all of these steps, however I have to fly out in a couple of hours so wont have time until next week...
thank you .... !! i will try all these ... i have a slow internet..

Next time, don't try to tweak a stock kernel. If you're not sure how stuff works, don't mess with it. If you're not sure about something then ask us before you do stuff like this. There's a reason why we're all here.

I emailed you this, but may have gone to spam..
they are just driver ini files and system config settings.
1) right click on my computer
1a) properties
2) device profile
3) look for devices without drivers
4) update driver
5) advanced/
6) have disk
7) use the unzipped folder as the location
8) yes continue with unsigned driver version
done
i may have missed a step as I only have access to my Ultra at the moment, but thats what you need to do

When I hold down the volume down and plug. The green led blinks and goes off.. but fast boot is working fine. . I've ftf file. Which cannot be flashed in fast boot. Fast boot asks for .img or .sin files. Doesn't accept ftf.* . . My phone is into boot loop. . Can't use Sony pc companion as it restarts b4 the pc companion can install the drivers. . I need to use fast boot exclusively. ..

First, it didnt work. I installed and uninstalled many times flashtool and different versiont of flashtool and finally I dont know how but it worked.
I have already made a thread in Xperia U dedicated section and posted in "Ask Any Question" here but no help at all. Absolutely disappointing.
Kindly help me installing a GB ROM.
What are my options?.
Thank You.

All started when I tried to put a GB ROM. I got 'Status 7' error in recovery. Everything went wrong from there.
IF ONLY it had a removable SD card and I wouldn't have lost any hair.
Please write in steps what I need to do to put GB ROM on it. Which recovery?, because all recoveries I see are for ICS or ICS+ versions.
I am using 'Flashtools' for everything. Recovery, ATM, has no ADB side load. So start from A and end at Z.

This.
You can try and connect your xperia phone to PC Companion..download it its free..or you can also SEUS..when connected it will give you a prompt to fix the phone and it will download the firmware and flash it after..
Are you sure that will help?. The phone in question is in other city and I will be there for a day or two. I dont want to be stuck.
The only thing that is on the phone is CWM 5.5.x.x version.
That should help..i used to own xperia devices in the past..with the last one being the xperia SL LT26ii..got it bricked flashing ROMs to it..plugged it in to PC Companion and got detected..it then asks you to fix the phone's software..root is lost during the process..atleast it gets your phone up and running again..

Hello Guys !
I have Qmobile Z10 which is same as Micromax 5 e481 ,Wiko Fever & Blu Life One X
I have flashed Wiko Fever Stock Rom on my Qmob Z10 which was done through official wiko software and it worked flawlessly , then i decided after few days to go back to previous offical Qmob Z10 Rom , i found some several same links , but it was supposed to be flashed via sp flash tool cause its MTK 6753 device ... So i downloaded that and load scatter file and everything and i flashed it and it flashed 100% successfully but after it was completed i unplug the usb cable and try to on my device but nothing appears at all (Hard Bricked i guess) but still i get my device led light on when i plug usb cable with it and it is recognized by computer and sp flash tool and i can reflash it again , but im unable to find any solution that why official stock rom made it bricked
If any moderators or any one share their opinion or way of help that would be really appreciated
Charge the phone for a couple minutes then reflash the stock using spflash tools. After turn it on while charging and/or try while unplugged.
This happened to my blu when I restored to a previous backup using twrp 3.0
Sent from my BLU LIFE ONE X using XDA-Developers mobile app

Try doing a manual format in the format tab of spflash, then Downloading the firmware to your phone. See if that works. If that doesn't work, try another similar phones firmware.
My Blu life one x did the same thing and I flashed it with the wiko fever firmware, then manually formatted and downloaded the Blu firmware to it and it finally worked.
Hope it works out for you.
PS- Never flash the bootloader
Im trying instal lineage os to that garbage device. I rooted the device, connect to pc. Then i wrote 'reboot bootloader' on terminal emulator. But after that my phone closed immediately and can‘t open. Power button wont work... Isnt that strange? Please help...

Just try to flash stock rom using Lenovo Moto smart assistant. That software will guide you throughout the process. I unbricked my device.
