that, my friend was a stupid idea
i dont know if there is a recovery for the x10 mini (since i have a g1). if there is you could easily flash the rom again. look up if there is a recovery . if not:
you say you have adb root acces? you could try to adb push the deleted apk`s and see if it will boot. if you dont have the files on your computer search for a dump and copy the apk`s from there
i have no experience with tis device so all on your own risk
Dwonload Update Service from Sony Ericcson Website and Update your Phone. It will install default UI. I have the same problem, but not after rooting but before rooting. I hope I can help you.

Have you tried letting the battery drain? Does the phone boot itself when plugged to usb?

yes it does. that's why i still cant use the update service.
the reason why it stock on sony ericsson logo is that i deleted the framework-res.apk using xploit i want to put it back but it seems like i cannot use the adb method anymore since my phone stock on the logo screen.
help plsss....

Have you tried connecting to phone through adb? I had the same problem when I was trying to make aap2sd work on my phone. I was able to connect through adb when the phone was stuck at sony logo..

You deleted the build.prop??? wtf for
Your phone is bricked and there is a good chance it will be bricked forever.
The only thing I can think of is to try to force the update through seus, but if you've deleted the build prop from "system" this may not work.

Su wouldnt work, cuz it hasn't started yet. Use rootshell instead. I hope you has not removed rootshell after rooting. If you have removed rootshell, try to regain it using exploid method.

maybe you can connect the phone to pc, start SEUS. Then hold topkey and backkey, at reset release topkey.
perhaps you need the correct timing.
wish you luck
Thanks guys. I really appreciate your suggestions but anyway since my unit is still within warranty I’ll just let the SE service center fix it for me though I have to wait 3 working days to get it back and if there a chance I’ll try to ask them how they fix it so I can share it here. ^^

You have lost you warrenty by rooted you device and deleted framework-res and I think sonyericsson service centers can see you have done it by your own fault

Yupp, warranty is long gone.. Rooting voids your warranty. Although you can get it repaired through se service center for a price.

well if that's the case then..
I'll just be more careful next time
No harm in trying. Just send it back and see what happens.
Large companies like SE don't like bad publicity so they may repair it regardless.

True.. i just got my phone back after 3 working days and they just gave it back to me not mentioning the phone problem and my phone warranty is still active.
3 days!?
how did you send it to them, service/repair center?
with my older se devices I had always wait for about 4-6 weeks after given it to a repair center.

It's not the most correct thing to do (actually, not at all, it was your friend's fault entirely, also voiding the warranty), but your friend can tell them that the device began to heat while charging, he unpluged it and it died, sometimes it happens...
As for the JTAG you asked on the other post, it's a physical connector inside the cellphone used to write the flash memory, it involves opening the device, pinning some terminals and programming via PC, it's pretty common on embedded devices to load the program for the first time.
There is still a chance to get the phone back to its senses!
you will need 2 people to do this
read all 5 steps then only proceed!
1. Remove the battery.
2.Start odin in your pc.
3.connect the mobile to the pc using cable.
4.keep pressing the keys required to get in download mode. i.e. power+home+volume down key.
5.ask someone else to put the battery in your phone keeping the keys pressed!.
if every thing goes right Odin will detect the phone Flash it with a good rom you know which works! and never take out the cell from odin when its being flashed until odin says Success!

Won't work if the PIT wasn't completed therefore leaving the device void of a bootloader, but it's worth the try, you have nothing to lose...

Afaik u never supposed 2 use pit options in odin for gs2 otherwise u end up with a brick anyway regardless if u remove the cable or not. perhaps read more and be more careful if u ever decide 2 flash again. i would not be happy with that friend lol.

Hey guys. So, I bricked my phone. I installed RomManager, then ClockworkMode through it, thus I knew that this phone is not supported. It wasn't there in that list, so I chose Commtiva z71 or something like that. My phone doesn't get in download mode anymore. Could this be fixed at home? I really don't want to take it to a service centre.
Please help me. Thanks!
There's a few people who have done this and I don't think any of them have been able to find a way to get it working again. I think you will have to send it to repairs, sorry

did you tried to download ClockWorkmodRecovery(cwm) than flash with odin multi downloader and then wipe data?
first step i found in solving this issue
i also flashed the same recovery through rom manager. i think i have found the first step in solving this issue. all now is that i need help of all of you guys.
All I did was removed my battery while still being connected to usb . After this i kept holding the option button (the button on the upper leftmost side) and with this being hold i inserted the battery. Now my pc recognised the device as samsung usb composite device and also the odin recognises it. but whatever i try my phone stucks at setup connection in odin. pls help.

no need to pull battery out and insert it back just insert the battery ,hold down the option key & insert usb cable thats it....but none of these gonna work you will need JTag to flash
You can even try JIG. Because, you've messed with recovery and boot partition but not the arm11boot (bml8). So, JIG (search Google, it is as cheap as $2 and you can even make one at home) can help you.
If it didn't, just search for JTAG services nearby your area. They'll charge you $20-$40 and your g5'll be alive.

That's not true, sadly. ROM Manager embeds a version of flash_image that will try to flash a boot image to bml8 if the device is not properly recognised. That's what happened for the OP, so a JIG will not resurrect the phone.
Oh...Sorry, I didn't knew that! So, final option left for OP is a JTAG flash.

Seems like out of your 3 bricks, this is one.
Hi,
I've get my girlfriend brother's phone to check - so it is bricked. I do not know how he did this. But phone is not turning on, no led light or sth. But it is known on PC as QHSUSB_DLOADER - I do not have drivers for this mode.
I've tested all methods to get it to flash mode for FlashTool, but it is not working.
Any sugestions?

First, can you explain better how the phone bricked??
have you tried flashing http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=953586&d=1332104415
extract tft and put it into flashtool/frimwares , then flash it..
if it does not work, then your in troubles.. you may need a medusa box to solve it.

AFAIK, your phone is permanently bricked. It's loader is corrupted which has caused it to go to factory service mode. You have to take it to Sony service center or have an expert JTAG the phone to recover it. BTW, How did he do this?
Have you tried installing the drivers from flashtool folder and connect it in flashmode?
I think it's hardbricked, too, and you have to take it to sony

Hi. I have a dead Galaxy J1 (SM-J100ML/DS). This phone doesn't starts. I tried going to recovery and download mode but nothing. PC doesn't detects nothing when i connect the phone but when i enter recovery mode pc detects an unknown device.
I have samsung drivers, adb and fastboot installed.
Please, if someone knows how to solve this or something tell me. I need help. This phone isn't rooted and i never modified it.

Use it normally. I just use whatsapp and that things. (Idk if it's bricked or what but maybe it's a hardware problem).
I think that a month ago i tried to connect it to PC and it was detecting as QSHUB_DLOAD (bootloader) but now it doesn't detects nothing except in recovery (unknown device)
In the worst part, You'll need to paid to get your phone back. Just go to certified samsung store and ask them about this.
