Hello:
Is there anyway to VGA-out (making presentations on a projector, connecting to a monitor) from an XDA? Thanks in advance,
Fernando
I wonder if Microsoft's Remote Display utility will do the job for you. You can control your XDA from your PC.
Here is a quote from the site:
Remote Display Control for Pocket PC
With the Remote Display Control application, you can display actions on a Pocket PC, including user input, remotely on the display of a desktop or laptop personal computer. This is a great tool for demonstrating the power of the Pocket PC to a large audience. It also allows developers to test their applications for the Pocket PC on a larger screen.
Remote Display Control uses TCP/IP, and it can work with ActiveSync® connections via Ethernet or dial-up.

VGA out for XDA
hi.
i wanted to do this - Just searching with Google, I found 2 hardware suppliers (sorry, can't remember the names now!), but the problem is, they support Pocket PC 2002 / 2003 PDA's, but don't support the XDA. So if you have a HP or Sony PDA you can do it, but not for the XDA
If anyone finds a solution however, i'd like to know about it!
Teamviewer for windows mobile / alternative?
would LOVE something like that on my windows mobile,to be able to easily control my home pc from it
that is:
i want to control my home pc from my windows mobile. (ive tried the Remote Desktop blabla program, but its not very user-friendly)
yes, i would like teamviewer too on a htc hd2. but i think a prog from for h2 to control a pc isn´t realisable, because of the slow internet speed and the resolution.
but you can search for streams, you can view thinks running on your pc but you cannot control it per internet.
I have a samsung omnia pro, and when i got the "Remote Desktop 6.5something" working,i could view evrything that was on my home pc - on my mobile screen, too bad its so difficult to get to work + that you have to yes yes to different remote acces points on your computer :/
logmein.com
easy,fast, the best.
it is possible ?
before that i have to try the app "Andro Remote Desktop",
but i thought it was poor and less of the function.
Is there have a more practical app to function it?
Webkey
VNC
both require root
you can try our new app, VMLite VNC Server, it allows you to fully control and view your phone from a PC, so you can use external keyboard and mouse very responsively to become more productive. It works on all android devices, from Eclair to Jelly Bean, rooting is NOT required.

I have found tons of apps that let you remote control your phone from your WinBlows computer and some that do the reverse; however, I haven't found any apps that will remote control a smartphone from another smartphone. I would assume rooting would be required on the phone being remote controlled (running daemon) but the client side wouldn't need to be rooted. I use all three of our smartphones to watch video content on our large household TVs and remote controlling these from another smartphone would be handy (don't want to boot a PC to perform the remote control funtion)
Any pointers to an app (if one exists) would be greatly appreciated.
Regards, Ron
yep it's hard to find but this app should do the job :
i am a noob user of xda so i can't post links but you can find an app called "VNC server" on the playstore
it's a vnc server ... i didn't find better one
Hello everybody!
I've used the MyMobiler for remote access to the phone, but I can no longer in the Atrix.
There is another app that does the same work, the PC control the android, like TeamViewer for example.
Do not say like AirDroid, say one that has screen capture.
Thanks!
