Hi, I'm a noob and need some help. I have purchased a Fusion5 Xtra from Amazon. It's a 10.1 screen, but it thinks it's a 7 inch. It looks as though the android software is for a phone not a tablet. Can anyone help with a ROM and instructions on putting a correct Android operating system on it.

Just bumping this. Is there anyone who can help. I'm finding this so difficult to use now. could really do with some one to help please.
Is your the 4.2 kit kat version? as this theone i own.what is the problem? if you are looking for ROMs there's none I know about,but it can be rooted. But if your screen size might be wrong,go into display settings and you can change it.

If your touch is not so precise, i do not think that is software problem!

i picked up a Technicolor iControl TCA203COM
for 5 bucks at a thrift store. i am wondering if anyone one has Rooted or messed with it to make it look like a regular android device.
I want to use this device in a fallout 3-4 Pipboy project. any help would be appreciated.
Originally i was just going to take it apart and use the 7in lcd screen with a arduino or raspberry pi set up.

hey man u ever figure anything out with this i got one of the newer ones and am trying to root mine
so i bought this projector and its pretty sweet. Projector with HDMI and USB and has android so i can use all the sports apps, like espn, tnt, abc, etc....welll....you have to load the .apk to install those apps as it wont work any other way. It seems Chinese and like an overseas android box, but my question is, can i update this to a better android version and workable version. I have not see any videos of an update and there is no reset button either so it would have to be USB. any guidance is greatly appreciated.
I found it on amazon, i cannot post the link in here, but a simple irulu projector search on there will take you there, or youtube videos. thank you very much for all your help.

I have the same projector irulu pro 20. 2600 lumines the white one. I've contacted them Alot through phone and email. They've sent me a link to what their saying is an update since I can't update out 4.4.2. The problem is I don't speak or read Chinese. Of you or anyone is interested I'll post it. Let me know

HI I have been trying to look for a way to use my projector on kori but can't since my version is outdated do you still have that link to upgrade.? . Would help me a ton and would appreciated even more.

I would like to get recommendations about which ROM I should use.
As of this moment, Insignias community forums are down. There is no contact information.
There is also no support. IMHO this tablet had so much potential but the stock rom is atrocious. Always crashing and slowing to a crawl. I HAVE to install a custom rom if I ever hope to use it for anything more than a paperweight.
HELP!?

I just wanted it to be lightweight ROM like has what A500 Acer has lots of ROMs that should happen to this tablet but we must root this tablet first!!! Anyone help us??? Please help us???

Hi Guys I have been a long time lurker of the XDA forums and have had quite a bit of success installing and using the roms I have found here.
Right now I am in need of some help and I am hoping someone could point me in the right direction.
I have a Tablet that I purchased from Ali Express it goes by the name "CARBAYSTAR T7" I have no idea what this really is. When I trace the IMEI it comes back as a Galaxy S Duos (GT-S7562)
It has been a great little device but I have recently become involved in testing some of our new security products at work and NEED to flash this strange little tablet to at least 6.0.1 marshmallow (7.0 or higher would be better)
Has anyone here had any dealings with this tablet in the past or do any of you know anyone that might have ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
