Hi Guys I have been a long time lurker of the XDA forums and have had quite a bit of success installing and using the roms I have found here.
Right now I am in need of some help and I am hoping someone could point me in the right direction.
I have a Tablet that I purchased from Ali Express it goes by the name "CARBAYSTAR T7" I have no idea what this really is. When I trace the IMEI it comes back as a Galaxy S Duos (GT-S7562)
It has been a great little device but I have recently become involved in testing some of our new security products at work and NEED to flash this strange little tablet to at least 6.0.1 marshmallow (7.0 or higher would be better)
Has anyone here had any dealings with this tablet in the past or do any of you know anyone that might have ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So, i have a Samsung Galaxy Fit S5670 Don't Kill Me QAQ7 and from what i saw, It is really similar to the galaxy mini S5770, we even got a Cyanogen port for mini working on galaxy fit, only things that aren't working are the Camera amongst other minor stuff.
My Question is, How do one port roms? and if possible, how to fix the bugs in the rom we already have, note that the two phones are really similar and the port was tested by quite a few people.
Any push in the right direction would help, thank you so much in advance~<3

I'm no dev, but I got a GT-S5690 yesterday from someone who no longer needed it. I just ordered a replacement battery, and I was looking to find some custom ROM for it, but it seems there hasn't been much interest in developping ROMs for this device. Too bad, because even if the specs are not top notch, the fact that it is IP67 makes it a great companion for all kinds of activities (I'm fond of kayaking).
There seems to be lots of people wanting CM for that phone. I'm just afraid it might be impossible, otherwise I guess someone would already have published a zip file to flash.

Hello my lovelies; Please HELP ME!!!
I don't know much about this tablet; It was gifted to me while I await my new computer (I sadly broke my old one). I'd love if their was a way to root this device? I've never dealt with so much lagging and constant frustration.
I'd even settle for updating the firmware; It currently runs 4.1.1. I just can't seem to find anything on this tablet and its beyond frustrating.

I'm pretty much a newb on the forums. i own the ZTE N9520/Boost Max, and all work towards any roms or updating the phone has grinded to a halt. I thank the guys,including SuperR who have gotten the phone rooted and Philz installed ,but it seems nothing else has been done. The device is pretty awesome and I have all the files including the Kernel. I was just wondering if anyone with some spare time can help to either come up with a ROM or maybe port some of the Roms from the ZTE Boost Max+ to it. i found this post and was wondering if it's at all possible for the port to happen?

I too recently had one of these come through here that needed a screen replacement. I replaced the screen and i have been looking into any development for it. This phone was a nice phone for its time. Great size, the special charging type and so forth. If i put together or run across anything and keep it i will post for you or any others reading this thread.

I would like to get recommendations about which ROM I should use.
As of this moment, Insignias community forums are down. There is no contact information.
There is also no support. IMHO this tablet had so much potential but the stock rom is atrocious. Always crashing and slowing to a crawl. I HAVE to install a custom rom if I ever hope to use it for anything more than a paperweight.

I can apparently install updates from the SD card. Ay help walking me through that would be greatly appreciated,

Hi guys!!! I'm really not happy with this tablet but... We already knew it's not itself fault because it's really great product... I just wanted it to be lightweight ROM like has what A500 Acer has lots of ROMs that should happen to this tablet but we must root this tablet first!!! Anyone help us??? Please help us???
