Hi, about few days i got audio problem, the speakers (front, and rear) and headphones randomly starts make a noise, no sound only noice. I use CM 11 with Boeffla kernel, i apply boeffla sound tweaks, when i reboot the phone, everythink working well. Maybe it`s problem with music player, i use PowerAMP full version, when i listen to music everything is OK. but when i un-plung a headphone and starts use Facebook Messager, audio is able to bugged and start make a noise...

I'm currently on Neutrino's v2.5p2 ROM and my phone doesn't allow any application other than the built in music player to stream any audio to my car stereo through bluetooth. I used to hear Tune In radio on a daily basis without any problems with the stock GB roms but ever since I unlocked my phone and started playing with different roms (Ba2tF, Nightly's, Neutrino, Dorian's Red Pill) I've been unable to listen to any streaming audio app through my bluetooth connection. No power AMP, no youtube, not even video audio from the built in media player. I can sometimes hear about 2 seconds from Tune In if I start the app while hearing audio from the music player: the music player audio would stop while the audio from tune-in starts to sound through the car speakers but after about a second and a half the audio gets cut out (but the app screen shows that the audio is still playing). Anyone else has had this issue?

Canr say i have had this issue cuz i dont use blue tooth for anything but have you checked in the dsp manager and blue tooth settings to see if there is something preventing it? not sure if thats any help buy best of luck.
got the problem solved. I installed Turl's CM9 V9 ROM.

i have Carbon Rom v1.7 installed. The issue that i face is when i plug in my headphone and start the music apps the sound goes in a few minutes. Even with any game or video player
But it works fine with the speaker but not the headphones.
what about after a factory reset?
K this one has me stumped
I9100 Australian edition unlocked fresh install of cm11 via cm installer
Music playback is silent
Phone calls nothing in the earpiece
Press loudspeaker and tadaa all sound comes through music and phone call Both through
loudspeaker
This tells me the loudspeaker is OK the earpiece may be dead I am assuming that YouTube/media players aren't activating the output then , in the case of the music player piggyback off the loudspeaker being activated in call.
Headphones do work
Any suggestions?
Clean install of stock to test for starters, and if that's OK, do another clean install of CM.
Everything is working fine in my galaxy S3 I9300.But when I listen to music with my headphones, after I while, an annoying high freacuency noise starts to be heard over the music, making it impossible to be listened.I'm using poweramp music player, and I've tried so many others such as N7 player, Player pro etc. but the problem persists.The noise appears randomly and I don't have any idea of what is causing the problem, maybe wolfson audio chip drivers, don't know.I'm running Carbon Rom 4.4.4 20140824-0203 nightly with googy max 2 kernel V2.3.1

Hi everyone at some point yesterday my phone decided to stop playing sound from its built in speaker on certain apps (youtube, phonograph music player, facebook) it also doesnt make a sound when i connect/ disconnect my charger but it still puts out sound when i have an incoming call so the speaker still works. Im guessing its a software problem. Has anyone had this same issue ? Any idea how to solve it ?
