K this one has me stumped
I9100 Australian edition unlocked fresh install of cm11 via cm installer
Music playback is silent
Phone calls nothing in the earpiece
Press loudspeaker and tadaa all sound comes through music and phone call Both through
loudspeaker
This tells me the loudspeaker is OK the earpiece may be dead I am assuming that YouTube/media players aren't activating the output then , in the case of the music player piggyback off the loudspeaker being activated in call.
Headphones do work
Any suggestions?
Clean install of stock to test for starters, and if that's OK, do another clean install of CM.

Hello Guys. Someone could help me? My touchpad (classicnerd) plays music in the speaker but in headphones no . I booted in webOS and it played fine. Anyone with is problem?

What are you trying to listen to and which build are you using? I just tested my headphones with Classicnerd-Butta-0.1.0-v2.1-Odex and it seems to be working here. I have system volume as well as Google Music volume coming through loud and clear.
Im trying to listen some regular MP3, and I have Classicnerd-Butta-0.1.0 installed. I installed google music as well. The sound plays fine in the speakers but in headphones it doesnt play at all.
If you reboot with the headphones plugged in, you should get sound in them. (When I did that, it was way too loud, so be a little careful.)
I also found that if I unplugged the headphones, the sound went correctly to the device speakers, but plugging the phones back in returned to the "no sound in phones" state.
This is a known problem. Hopefully it will be better in the public release.
Just realised that when i get a call or try to play any audio or video my phone doesnt ring, can hear voice over the call, can listen to any audio when i plug my earphone---in short there is sound coming out of the built in speakers.....stock ICS rooted RAZR....did a hard reset....still not ok...
Hi, about few days i got audio problem, the speakers (front, and rear) and headphones randomly starts make a noise, no sound only noice. I use CM 11 with Boeffla kernel, i apply boeffla sound tweaks, when i reboot the phone, everythink working well. Maybe it`s problem with music player, i use PowerAMP full version, when i listen to music everything is OK. but when i un-plung a headphone and starts use Facebook Messager, audio is able to bugged and start make a noise...

I can't get sound from my speaker but when my phone rings I can hear it no problem. Was working and stopped. I clean installed cm13 with full wipes and it's still the same

after upgrading to marshmallow my phone has been showing strange behavior sometimes the music sound switches from bluetooth speaker or loud speaker to the ear piece
no matter how I change the audio setting from bluetooth to speaker and back it never works unless I reboot
is there a fix for it or do I have to live with that?
If your phone is rooted and you have Xposed installed? Xposed do big mess with bluetooth audio, so if installed, remove it and bluetooth audio will work properly again.
