sound swiches from bluetooth to ear piece - Sony Xperia M4 Aqua

hello
after upgrading to marshmallow my phone has been showing strange behavior sometimes the music sound switches from bluetooth speaker or loud speaker to the ear piece
no matter how I change the audio setting from bluetooth to speaker and back it never works unless I reboot
is there a fix for it or do I have to live with that?

If your phone is rooted and you have Xposed installed? Xposed do big mess with bluetooth audio, so if installed, remove it and bluetooth audio will work properly again.

[BUG] Audio switching bug in .73 or hardware bug

i found a bug in .73;
sometimes if i listen to music with standard no mic stereo headphones (Sennheiser MX160), once i disconnect headphones and try to make a call the audio signal is not switched to the phone's speaker. so the call is mute, the other end can hear me but i can't hear the other end, if i connect the headphones and disconnect again the audio signal get routed correctly.
this doesn't happen if i connect, instead of Sehheiser headphones, the standard sony headphones or my "DIY" car stereo adapter...
I think it's an hardware bug, something looking for the impedence connected
I did notice an issue that's only occurred once, where audio wouldn't swap between headphones and speaker. I was watching a movie trailer at home on the loud speaker, then put my headset (aJays One+ with mic) in to listen to some music whilst on the move and it just didn't acknowledge the headphones. It took several restarts before the phone would correctly detect the headset and switch between the two. This was also on the .73 firmware.

Notifications & Headphones

Anyone able to solve the problem that seemly all Android phones have?
- If headphones are plugged in and we get an incoming call, the ringtone will play on both speaker and headphones.
- If headphones are plugged in and we get a notification, the sound will only play through speaker.
What I want is that nothing comes out of the speakers and only through the headphones.
So far, I am able to use Tasker to put the phone in Silent mode when headphones are plugged in and then toggle it off when headphones are not in. Problem with this is that the phone won't vibrate or ring at all when there's an incoming call and the same with texts/e-mails.
Mine only does through headphones. Newts latest release and SlimROM latest.
ReZound
That's weird cause I get notifications/ringer switched when the headphone jack is in use and then the speaker is used when the jack is not being used... o.o
I think you can try DSP Manager. If I remember correctly it has an option to control those settings...
I'm using latest SlimROM...I've had this problem with every single Android I've owned.
I'm guessing no one else notices this or has this problem.
I found a Tasker script that might work:

[Q] Surround sound problem?

I have a CT802 Idea USA tablet running Android 4.0.3. It is rooted.
Whenever I try to play a video (using any media player program including but not limited to the built-in one), the audio is weird--the volume is relatively low *and* the voices are almost nonexistent--what I get is almost all music. This is only a problem when I have something connected to the headphone jack--it does not happen with the built-in speaker.
If I plug the jack partly in, it is possible to get it into a position where it plays the sound properly.
My theory is that it's somehow falsely detecting surround sound output (but is not detecting it when I have the jack partly in), and when it does so, I'm only getting the left and right channels. I would like to know:
1) Is there any way I can prove this?
2) Is there some setting buried in some file that I can use to disable surround sound completely?
It turned out that the problem was caused by having earbuds with a built-in microphone. Both of the ones I tried had a microphone. When I bought another pair without a microphone, sound was okay.
It's still a problem, however. How do I keep it from doing this? There are no system settings whatsoever related to microphones, and I have no idea how to disable the microphone or otherwise tell it to treat the earbuds as a normal set of earbuds.

Lollipop with Parrot Carkit

Hi all
I have the following problem, I,m using a Note 3 lollipop 5.0 ( rooted ) and bought a parrot mki9000 carkit.
Everything works well, music streaming, sync phonebook but when I call someone the phone's sound comes from the phones speaker while I see the bluetooth connection is turnen on.
When pressing the bluetooth connection off and on the sound will Come from the car speakers. ( bluetooth function in call so not the globale connection )
So for some reason it starts with the Phone speaker everytime.
Is there a setting for this or a fix so the call sound will Come from the car speakers only and not from the Phone speaker?

Sound not workings

I got a pair of Bluetooth headphones for Christmas , I connected to them and they worked fine and still do. However my phone can't make any sound now.
The sound only works with those headphones, it does not work with other headphone or speakers using Bluetooth or the headphone jack and not without anything connected.
When I say all sound I mean all sounds, incoming, outgoing calls, alarms etc.
Would love some help on the issue. Thanks!
