[Q] No data after Jelly Bean OTA 982.124.14.XT910.Retail.en.EU upgrade.

Hello,
I followed HSD-Pilots great guide to flashing the EU JB OTA, this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192532
The process ran smooth with no hiccups whatsoever, even root restored perfectly.
Now to my problem. Everything works flawlessly except the data connection. I have near-to-perfect signal quality in both the 2G/Edge and 3G/HSPA nets and can call, send texts and use WiFi with no problems whatsoever. I just cannot get a data connection. When data ain't enabled I get a Edge or HSPA icon (depending on which net im currently using of course) with a small red, circular "forbidden" sign over it. When data is enabled both the Edge/HSPA icon and the red circle disappears, leaving only the signal bars. I've checked settings -> phone -> status -> mobile network status and it says "disconnected" regardless of data enabled or disabled. Data worked perfectly on both 672.180.41.XT910.Retail.en.EU and the noefigs version.
What I've tried so far:
Triplechecked the APN - it's correct.
Wipe cache and dalvik
Factory restore + wipe cache, dalvik
Reflashed the radio via BMM
No results whatsoever from the above mentioned things. Still no data connection.
If anyone has any experience of this kinda problem, or perhaps knows someone who do, feel free to answer!
Thank you!

[Q] Help-Lost verizon/cell service

Long story, but was trying to find a setting and clicked on the band mode, which brought up an option to "set GSM/UMTS band". it has 4 options, not sure which one I clicked but now i have no phone/data service. I first tried restoring a backup in twrp, then I did a full wipe & install. still no luck.
On the lockscreen, where it would normally say verizon wireless, it shows "searching for service". I went through the mobile data settings, didnt see anything out of the norm, made sure data is turned on, all that. Is there an easy fix for this?
Thanks.
Running AOKP smooth 4.3
Edit odin'ed back to unrooted and all is good. Will reroot tonight.

[Q] GPS not working

Hi.
I have a Motorola RAZR MAXX
OS: Android JB Retail France 4.1.2
Issue: GPS don't lock
I was searching for this issue a long time.
My GPS don't lock at all, sometimes detect 1 or 2 but with 20% of signal.
My wife's Razr lock GPS in a few seconds.
I restored her system (even with PDS, preinstall, cache...) factory defaults, clean cache, flash the complete android (4.1.2), a lot of solutions on internet...
I tried with stock and custom roms.
I modified the gps.conf
A few months ago it was working perfect, i didn't touch the system since a lot of time.
I tested a lot of configurations.
I tried also with the stock britain and stock france.
Delete/Recover the A-GPS info many times...
I don't know what else i can do!
I'm lost...
Can anyone help me??
Any idea??
Thank you!!

"No service" system bug

A friend gave me a sm-j510fn, having the "no service" error. Phone reads sim card w/ contacts etc. and sim has signal on other phones so it's phone related.
Tried various things like IMEI number check, airplane mode works but when turning it off, icon is stuck "midway", not completely grayed out. Also tried partition cache wipe from recovery mode. Manual mobile signal search gives error and nothing else.
I don't want to risk rooting it so as last thing I'm probably going to do a factory reset, should I try something else before that?
Update: I went ahead and rest the phone but the problem persists. Could the phone antenna be busted? Wifi works fine when connected
