Searching for dual qi wireless charging pad - Nokia Lumia 920

First I thought to buy the Google one, but it just to small, and I need 2, for nexus 5 & 7, then I thought, why not to kill 2 rabbits, with 1 bullet, and buy a dual charger, the ZENS looks good, and big, so tablet not look out of place, any other recommendations?

I did too and just got it yesterday. I wonder if the official back is any slimmer. The pad gives it slight bulge, though not awful.

I think the pad with the slight bulge is probably thinner than the official wireless charging back
Official is bulkier all over.. i dont think hard cases will fit the phone after . Still a 3nd party QI is the best solution.

I think the discount is because Verizon gets to put their name/logo on your accessory.
Also if you register your phone on the Samsung site you get a code for 50% off accessories under $50. If you order at least $50 total, I think shipping is free.

I don't know anything about Verizon discounts, I was talking about a Samsung discount on the Samsung site.

The discount I get through verizon is 25% off accessories for being with them so long, but I also get the same discount for being with the agency I work for

too bad samsung raised the price from before for the QI charger and you can't use the 50% off

There's a good picture up somewhere around here, and the OEM charging back is much thicker than the very minor build caused by the Docooler insert I have.
As BlueChris hard pointed out you can also remove the outer film from the inserts to make them a bit thinner. Since I'm using a bumper my phone still lays flat even with the bulge, so I don't think I'll bother to do that. If you want to use a full case it would be worth the effort.
Off Topic: I ordered the Docooler brand insert on Amazon and the shipping estimate came out to a range of 24 to 43 days, but it arrived in 10. Now I'm really happy I went with the cheap one ($11.98 with shipping).

Wireless Charging Pad and back cover both in stock here:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...s=Samsung+Galaxy+Note+3+Wireless+Charging+Pad
I have purchased from TigerDirect - many years ago - and they were reliable then. I presume the same is true now... They are I the US and have been in business a long time...
Hello,
i got the Charging Pad and Back Cover Bundle today (Gray/Black).
Package Contents:
1m Micro-USB Cable (White)
Charging Pad Color light Gray/White
Black Back-Cover.
Quality of Cable and Pad is ok, but not exceptional. But why white/gray for a black Note 3 .
Quality of the Back-Cover is much less worth than the original one.
It offers not the "grip" and "Leather"-Feel then the original one.
the "Samsung" is really cheep printed in grey rather than the silver one on the original.
The Charging-Cover adds 2-3 mm to the Phone. NFC is working and it charges at a rate of nearly 700 mA.
Regards
Robert

Just wondering:
1. That is charging much slower then the OEM cable that came with the device, correct?
2. The texture of the new wireless charging back cover - what exactly is the texture like?
3. Where did you get the back cover? Maybe it's not original OEM?

1. Original Wall-Charger charges up to 1800 mA on USB 480mA und USB 3.0 900mA
2. The texture is the same but its harder than the original so it is not as "grippy"
3. I got it from Amazon (Germany) so it is original OEM.

There official charging back is a bit thicker. There is a picture of both of them next to each other in one the the wireless charging threads.
I have ordered a wireless receiver pad also, but after getting my Note 3 yesterday I noticed the NFC chip is on the battery. I assume the receiver pad will interfere with the use of NFC.
Can you comment on NFC interference?

5000mah powerbank Flip ExtBattery Back Case feedback?

I was used to having like 4 batteries for my Note 2 so I want some back up.
Is this maybe any good?
5000
Or am I better off saving to buy that Sony CP12 thingy or maybe one of those external battery charger from Ankor etc.
I'm testing it and all I can say right now: 1 led of the power status is broken, you won't know if your bat is at 100 or 67% charge..
It's rather slow charging, compared with the CP12 and gets a bit hot.
The stand works okay but I wish to have a second one at the bottom of the cover because one stand isn't stable enough
Sent with my Xiaomi MI2 with Tapatalk Pro
In other words, not that good
Thanks
Well it's a typical cheap aftermarket product, I think it's charging as much as the CP12. Someone looking for a cheap alternative will still like it! I actually prefer the flip cover over sonys solution (although I'm missing the magnets)

The sony comes with the stylus and a place to keep it with the case too, right? That is one thing I would like coming from a Note 2 as I dont fancy using other objects that may scratch the protector
But yeah, the price difference is HUGE.

Feel like getting 1 too...
How the power case perform??
Can full charge ZU 1.5times??
A 5000mAh power pack will charge the Ultra to 75%.
unless its a solar unit then it will continue to charge it.
Its like a seesaw. Once the charge in the ultra and battery pack are equal, then they will no longer transfer charge.
I just ordered mine few hours ago.
I guess why not, it cost about double what the seller in my country want for a knockoff magnetic cable.

Wireless Chrager

Does anyone know if the old Google Wireless charger seen here http://www.amazon.com/Google-Wirele...4183&sr=8-3&keywords=nexus+6+wireless+charger will work with the Nexus 6?
Yes, it does. It doesn't "stick" as good as the N4 and N5 (I believe primarily because of the curved back), but it is usable.
You're much better off with a larger charging bed though, like the original Samsung charger. Or, better yet (especially if you're wanting a "stand-up" type of charger), the Nokia DT-910 works perfectly. Regardless, just remember that the sweet spot (which is the area you center on your charger) is unusually low on the N6. You want the center of your charger to be centered horizontally on the N6, but vertically, be just below the bottom of the volume rocker.
I have the Orb and it works fine. The other person was correct when he said it doesn't stick in place as well. You have to be slightly careful how you place it or it might slide down so that the phone is resting on the table but once it is on it stays in place.
I have read the Tylt charger works well.(http://www.amazon.com/TYLT-Wireless-Charger-all-Phones/dp/B00DG8NUC8) I am considering getting one even though they are really expensive so I can simply plop my phone down without having to think about it at all and know it will work fine and not fall off.
I do have the flat nokia dt-900 and it works well and isn't fussy about placement. With the amoled screen I want it tilted to use as a clock at night.
The Nokia DT-910 looks OK. Its about $35

I can vouch for that charger. Worked great on my N5, works perfect on my N6. It's such a great charger that when I bought my N6, and gave my wife my N5, I had to order another DT-910, because no way in hell she was getting mine.
OK I'm about to order the Nokia 910. And again it does work great with the Nexus 6 correct? Also what color is the LED on the stand when charging? Amazon has it for $49
Thanks!

Yes, it works perfectly with the N6. The LED on the bottom is white. It's very noticeable, but isn't "light up the room" bright like a lot of chargers.
OK ordered it from Amazon. Get it Tuesday same day as I get my Nexus 6
Duh I totally forgot to ask. Will this charger work the the Nexus 6 if its in a case?

As with any qi charger, it will as long as the case isn't metal or crazy thick.
Aw OK perfect. The one I'm getting is super thin...
I just ordered this case. Looks thin enough...

I'm curious about how big does the N6 look while docked. I currently like mine laying down on a pad, but kind of curious of how tall it is when on a dock like that.

Dual QI Pad?

I've got a great pair of devices, my Nexus 6 with a Moto 360, and I'd like a better way to charge at the office. I'd prefer to buy a dual qi charging pad instead if two singles, but I have no experience with any qi chargers at all.
I'd spend extra dollars for better quality, but if knockoffs are just as good, I'd do a knockoff. Definite preference on color to be white, black, silver, or orange.
I did look through the forum for different with chargers, but didn't see anything of the dual variety.
Thanks for any input!

Wireless charging pad

guys - which pad do you recommend? I already have a case that's compatible with a pad

I use this guy. Works well with the Nexus 6 and my case. Has a littel grip with the rubber pads and has a light to let you know it is charging. You can also put your phone in on its side and adjust it a bit to make it work that way as well.
http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Char...25550&sr=1-1&keywords=spigen+wireless+charger
I have used many pads and stands and none of them have any trouble charging through my two-layer Ringke Max case. Here are the chargers I've used:

I've had this one since the nexus 4. Used it for the 5 and 6 as well as nexus 7..http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=131705857592&alt=web

get a knockoff tylt or make your own. follow my link. I have a tylt I dont see why a knockoff would be any different
Ochee charging pad works great.
I'm using this one since my Nexus 5 and it works wonders with the Nexus 6 as well...
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00F358AVI/
In addition to the Spigen F300W mentioned earlier, I've used the Choetech Iron and am currently using the well-known Tylt Vu.
They all push about 650-700mA (according to Ampere) while charging through my Spigen Ultra Hybrid case. For reference, Ampere reads about 2300mA using the turbo charger.
I use the same powerbot that I've had since my nexus 4 and 5. Still works fine.
