How to recreate from mycolorscreen theme - Themer General Discussion

I would love to get a couple of the different LCARS themes from mycolorscreen.com. However, they aren't packaged up with zip files for use with Themer (at least as far as I can tell). Is there some way to do this, or is it something that I need to do manually? Here is an example of one of the LCARS themes that I'd like to recreate for use with Themer
http://mycolorscreen.com/2012/02/24/lcars-ui/ (not necessarily this one, but at least one of them...I know there is one in Themer already, but I would like to have an additional homescreen since it only comes with 2)

Hi, the MyColorScreen themes you see on the site aren't directly related to Themer, as only recently have designers start porting themes across to Themer. If you aren't able to find the resources from other themes on the site, you'd have to create one from scratch.
If you can't find different wallpapers, you can find the 2 that come with the Themer LCARS theme in this location: /sdcard/MyColorScreen/Themer/prefs.
From here you can open the Everything Widget on the first page, and then see what fonts and colors are used, and simply replicate them on the new pages. That's the best we can do for now.

[Q] Themes and icons

Having just moved from an iPhone im still learning here so bear with me. It seems as installing custom themes and/or customizing app icons is not as easy as installing winterboard and throwing a theme up. I'm a big buuf/mattahan fan and I've had that theme on my iphone since my 2G. After doing some research it seems that there are a couple of ways to change an app icon. First I could open up the .apk and insert the new icon, then resign the package and put it back on the phone. Second there seems to be an app called metamorph which is similar to winterbord but only works on certain phones.
Am I missing some easier way? I'm willing to spend some time on a package that I could share with others if I knew how.
Thanks

Metamorph does work on the vibrant if you were wondering
Some theme makers also make update.zip's that you can flash from recovery, but most prefer metamorph because its more universal.
also if you use a replacement launcher like ADW launcher which is on the market, then you can download themes from the market and simply choose them from the launchers menu.
In fact I beleive ADW launcher has a buuf theme.
theres also a keyboard app on the market called better keyboard that has a buuf theme (better keyboard is a paid app though)

[Q] Automatic Theme Switcher?

Does anyone one know if there is an app out there that can automatically switch your launcher theme every X hours? I currently am running Bionix-V 1.3.1 Fishman mod (Final 2) and use Go Launcher EX. I have several themes for the launcher, but I also use Zedge to update the wallpaper every hour for some variety. However, when the wallpaper changes, it may not match the theme, so I end up applying a new Go theme (which also applies the wallpaper for that particular theme), then I have to go back into zedge and re-apply the wallpaper from zedge. I know -- it doesn't really make any sense, but I get tired of staring at the same theme/wallpaper. If there is an app (it might have to be launcher-specific) that allows the themes to rotate automatically, I would probably stop using zedge altogether.
Anyone?
Apparently I am the lone Android user among the millions worldwide that cares about automatically switching themes. How sad.
Not at all. It's just that, as far as I can tell and have seen, such a thing doesn't exist. You would need either a plugin for an existing launcher, or such a thing built into the launcher itself. Your best bet is to contact the developers of each launcher with the suggestion. It's a good idea and I'm sure at least one of the developers would give it a shot.
Thanks
Thanks, Johnny. In a way, I was kind of hoping I was just bad at searching.

Go launcher Theme Factory help!

So I am almost done making a theme for Go Launcher and I have a few questions. I am using the Theme Factory online creator Go Launcher has on there website. I can save it to their server and/or save it locally to my drive in a zip. First question! If I wanted to sell my theme on google play...is there a way to make an apk file out of the zipped files? And if there is...is it legal for me to sell it on my own? Or do I have to go through Go Launcher...Cause it says on their website if your theme is good enough, they could sell it...but I would like to sell my created themes myself. Also do the other Go items like keyboard and SMS have theme creators as well?
Second question! Can I sell the icons in my theme in an icon pack on their own selling on Google Play on MY OWN account?? And have it compatible with a few launchers? Do I need to get permission from those launchers? Can I do the same thing with wallpapers?
Third Question! For the other launchers, there is no "theme creator" utility I can use. With I have to get some sort of xml editor or Eclispe? I am familiar with web programming so I;m sure I can pick up on this stuff for what I need pretty fast..I just need to know the right direction
Creating a new thread for this..
I'm going to create a new thread for GO Themes Factory that will hopefully bring all of us together with what we have learned from the process and to help others out along the way. It will be posted under the "Android Themes" section.

Themes Not Applying Correctly on 4.1.2

I bought a theme off the market for GoSMS and GoContacts (the theme also has ones for GoLocker and GoLauncher as well which work fine). I have downloaded and installed the themes and gone through the steps to apply it but it does not show the theme. I had read that there is an issue with themes running Jelly Bean and typically if you can get the dev to email you the apk it will work. I have tried contacting the dev multiple times with no response. Does anyone know of any other way to get these items to work correctly? I know there are other options than the ones I selected but I really liked the look of this theme and am kind of picky. The items are linked below if it helps:

Personally I would avoid Go products all together. You will most likely not hear back from the devs. They are known for not replying to people even if it involves HUGE security concerns with their apps.

[Q] Why aren't all Themes on the App?

title says it all.... there is a lot of themes i love.. but they aren't available on the app? just curious why
The designers have to optimize the themes for Themer as everything has to be done using the Themer widgets so it takes some time. And some themes can't be made with Themer.
most themes probably could be ported if the original files are made available and played around with,I have done it with a couple of themes.I find however that having to use pure themer widgets a tad limiting, but as above they only include themes made of pure themer for download via the program.

What @vhngu930 said is correct. Also note that some of the MyColorScreen themes are created in other launchers that have features not yet implemented in Themer. Once Zooper widget becomes integrated with Themer you should start seeing your favorites appear
