Someone Help Me Please!! I'm Begging.
I was able to Root my phone and install CWM Recovery.
I flashed a certain ROM and I accidentally choose the step for Unlocked Bootloaders, then I got a boot loop.
My volume down button is broken so I can't boot into recovery thru hard buttons.
Is there any other way to Boot into Recovery Mode? I already tried using ADB Commands, it doesn't work for me. Though I tried ADB with other phone and worked.
My phone is an Xperia Mini Pro SK17i.
Stuck in SONY Logo
My phone can't even get thru the Xperia Logo.
Just the SONY. Please Help Me!
I feel hopeless already. :crying:
My frnd also had exactly the same problem. He is using Xperia ray .he told he could enter in recovery mode by repeatedly pressing home button.
Try and let me know.

When I bricked my phone ADB was the first thing that comes to my mind since my volume down is broken. But ADB can't detect my device and whenever I plug it thru USB it just reboot the phone on the SONY logo. Nothing happens and not a single ADB Command works.
I hope someone can give me an alternative. Or is there something that I miss?

Well I m not sure about what I am advising
My friend can boot into recovery using home button for sure, maybe it depends on kernel (or the recovery version) too. So why not flash a different kernel (which includes recovery :: almost all custom kernels have that, not the stock one) using fastboot mode and then give it a try.
I also found the following command
fastboot reboot -bootloader
although it didn't worked on my xperia Ray (assuming bootloader here refers booting into recovery)
Try using Lupus V6 i am using it right now and i checked it. it can enter CWM with home button as well with volume up button. don't forget to thank dev(singh_dd93 & wedgess) if hi helped you.
edit: sorry man i partly miss lidded you. only home button takes you to CWM. volume up takes you to TWRP.
Boot to recovery using hardware keyboards down arrow key

Dude just flash stock.ftf
Then root it
Flash custom ics kernel (included cwm in all kernel)
Then using xposed modules add advanced reboot menu
And then choose reboot to recovery
And i don't think we need volume buttons in whole process

1.Turn off your phone
2.Reboot it back
3.The first Sony Ericsson should show up,don't waste your energy to press the volume rocker (down) button
4.When the boot animation played, press the volume rocker button several time until you enter the Clockwork Mod Recovery OR wait until the blue led appear (which only around 2 seconds I think) and press the volume rocker button several time until you entered the CWM Recovery

Doesn't matter how many times you click it, once is enough, but you can more also.
I always, when restarting, I do other stuff while clicking the volume down button rapidly, too lazy to wait.
nothing works except xparts... Help!
Okay I rooted my LWW with stock ICS 4.1.B.0.587 and installed CWM through xparts.
I can boot into CWM through xparts, create backup and also have flashed it back.
But the problem is, I can boot into CWM only through xparts. I tried manually as explained above (pressing volume down key and when it didn't work, tried the volume up key too) but nothing works. Every time I try, it boots into system and I've to go through xparts to boot in CWM.
My concern is I'm afraid to install any custom ROM's now. If my phone gets stuck in boot loop, I won't be able to boot into system and hence no xparts and no CWM.
How to have a full fledged recovery CWM, like I had in HTC Pico/Explorer(A310e) which could be booted through it's fastboot menu.
Please help, I'll definitely press thanks.
Have you tried installing a custom kernel? Flash your specified kernel through flashtool and boot to CWM via the button. As soon as you see the Sony sign continuously press the volume down key.
Hope this helps

Hi,
I've just rooted my Sony Ericsson xperia neo, unlocked the bootloader using Sony's website, and just installed CWM using the 'install-cwm1' script in the usual 'CWM-Install.rar' file used for installing Clockworkmod recovery.
Everything has worked fine so far, and I have root access and unlocked bootloader. The script pushes all the files correctly to my Neo and seems to install CWM just fine. However, I can't seem to boot my phone into CWM at all.
I've tried holding volume down and power, volume up and down and power, and the back key and power, but none of them get me into the CWM menu at boot, they just boot the phone as normal.
Anyone got any suggestions, or am I missing something really obvious here? I did a search on the forums and couldn't seem to find anything about this problem.
Thanks for your help,
Rory.

Dont press the buttons at the same time.
Press the power button untill it starts to turn on. then keep pressing and letting go and pressing (Very quickly) the BACK button whilst the boot screen appears.
Or you can install xperia reboot options from the market (There is a free version in the x10 thread from DooMLoRD, who developed the app). That has the option to reboot into recovery, so if you have cmw installed correctly it will boot into it without having to press any buttons.
This is DooMLoRDs link to xperiarebootoptions app.

Hey Guys .
I'm Not a Noob In Android But This Low - End Devices Just Are So Confusing.
I've Got a Xperia Mini Pro ( With Keyboard ) . and I Rooted It and Installed X - Parts http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1437840
and Flashed This ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1739569&page=2 .
After Flashing , Now I Can't Enter Recovery ( I Press The Buttons at The Sony Ericsson Logo , No Luck )
The Screen Goes Blank After The Logo and I Can't Do Anything.
Do You Suggest Anything?
( Boot Loader Locked , I Selected The Lock Option In AROMA )
Thanks In advance.
Can you get into recovery mode?
1)Take out the battery of your phone, wait for a few minutes, put it back again.
2) Then hold down the volume key, and plug in the usb cable (connected to your computer)
Does the LED light flash green? If it does, you can flash the official firmware back into your phone and get it working again.
if you have bootloader locked, that would mean that recovery would also be removed, you should have installed the postInstallCWM which can be found here in the forums. i suggest that you reflash stockROM and root then install CWM again. you should have read the forums about custom roms and locked bootloaders
Try this for recovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1774119
and this for flashing ROM on locked bootloader: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1832255
Use the power button not the volume down

hey do u have cwm installed? have u flashed custom kernel? or advanced stock kernel, if yes then you just need to do is press volume up @ sony screen, when @ sony screen (assuming you have installed advanced ics), it will vibrate and have a led light then press the volume up.
if you havent installed i guess you need to do some reading on how to unlock and install custom kernel.

What is CWM and how to install CWM, How to stock kernal.
I have the same problem and I think it's because I can't install the drivers for some reason... I think Windows 8 already auto-installed some stupid drivers that don't work. Does anyone know how to reinstall the fastboot drivers?

Dear All,
I installed cwm recovery tool by following the steps as told in this thread using recovery installer for my xperia s (build no. 6..1.a.2.45).
I tried going into recovery mode by pressing VOL UP + button during bootlogo (sony) but nothing happens.. the phone restarts in its usual manner.
ive unlocked the bootloader via fastboot .. roooted the phone with Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v17: method.
I just cannot fathom how to get into recovery mode so that i can install custom rom !!
any advice will be greatly appreciated .. thanks in advance

Hey! I just rooted my Xperia Go (advance) and it went perfectly. Afterwards, went on to install CWM Recovery and once I rebooted the phone (I managed to get into the CWMR menu) my phone shut down.
My PC won't recognize the device even while holding the volume down key while connecting it, it wont boot up, won't charge with the wall charger or anything.
I really need help, I've tried everything.
Thanks!
