Why do you want to flash with odin? You know if you do one thing wrong you can brick it right?

just curious, have anyone tried to convert stock rom odin files into a cwm flashable zip? i heard that odin can sometime brick your phone. so was curious if there exists such ddkq8 flashable zip so that stock rom can be installed easy
*Facepalm*
All stock based ROMs on xda are made by extracting odin's md5 files -.-

Kies can brick your phone, I dont think ODIN bricks phones. I have flashed a hell lot of times using ODIN before I learnt how to make CWM flashable stock ROMs

Odin is not that hard to use it just taakes some practise .....flash like about 4 times and u r a pro already ( when flashing for the first time via odin i wasnt scared at all of bricking it as i already had experience of bricking it once with Rom Manager --- that experience has made me a tough man )

yeah bro i know that and one can't forget stocklite rom when it comes to simplicity + speed on stock :-D:-D
what i'm asking about is a pure stock rom flashable zip.. no script nothing at all.
i mean flashing through cwm seems easier than odin flashing

Can I flash SiyahKernel S2-v5.0.1 http://www.gokhanmoral.com/?p=1536 directly using odin while having my stock ROM

After Flashing the Siyah, will that mean I will have "Stock Rom + Siyah Kernel" ?
and after flashing Siyah, can I flash custom ROMs from there then? Thanks.

Yes it means you'll have a rooted stock rom with SiyahKernel.
After that you can download custom roms and flash them from cwm or mobile odin.

AW: [Q] Odin .pit
Just flash it without .pit.
pit is for re-partition.

Honestly, there has not been a serious use of pit files in past
But they are necessary if you mess up with partitions such as EFS, boot or recovery
Usually due to lack of know about mount points of partitions

Downloaded rom zip from sammobile. How to flash in Odin?

I'm planning to take my s5 back to unrooted stock lollipop. I downloaded the rom from sam mobile. But how can I flash this in Odin? Do I unzip it? If so, which parts should I flash in Odin?

Unzip it, there's only one file inside, that's the one you flash with Odin

Thanks! That worked great. I have flashed my s5 to stock, done the update to marshmallow, and rooted. Your help is greatly appreciated.
