I think daydream feature is available for 4.2+. My set runs on 4.2.1 .It somehow hidden due to moded display setting.

[Q] Xperia Z1 support

I'd really like to give Themer a go but it doesn't seem to support Xperia Z1 out of the box. I believe the problem is to do with the Softkeys, Themer assumes that the resolution is not compatible. The screen however is capable of 1920x1080 and I've got a custom ROM which allows me to switch off the Softkeys.
The problem is that Themer doesn't see this reflected on the resolution and still says that the resolution is not supported... Is there any way to bypass the validation and just allow me to try 1920x1080 themes?

Hi,
Unfortunately for now Themer only supports default settings. You could always try modifying your resolution to that of another phone, but we can't guarantee that this will work.

[News] Huawei mediapad x1 might not be supported by 320 dpi roms any more

Replying on a post (by me) to the official Honor Facebook page, the admin says that they don't have plans for 320dpi roms right now
But the latest build lets you change the resolution per app. So why is this a problem?

Many apps aren't supported by 400 dpi (madfinger games for example)
and many keyboards that I use aren't compatible with the reduced mode (Like Swiftkey)
What a big miss

Youtube has problems, also
YouTube works fine for me on B011.
So does e.g. Hackers keyboard.

Full control of camera

Does anyone have full manual control of your stock camera app? I saw an article that lollipop allows full manual control of camera. If possible, any way to enable?

Unfortunately no, you can check it with Manual Camera Compatibility app. This may change in future updates. :fingers-crossed:

Camera app - no slo mo video?

Recently got an honor 8 FRD-L09 running droid 7 and emui 5 can't find a slo mo option in the camera anywhere.
I've turned off the wide aperture, tried all the resolution options, tried stabilizer on/off but still can't see any slo mo anywhere... what am I missing?
Try swiping from the left to see all of the available modes.
Swipe from left to right you will see it
Yes, the same in my honor 8.
Swiping left..i can't find this mode.

You are using the latest firmware I think. Did it happen after the update?

Yes, with b389 (that add watermark and monochrome mode)
B386 here (updated August 3rd) - no slow-motion, gain monochrome mode
Maybe this is because of the update. Maybe it's removed from EMUI. (idk) @Rommco05 know anything about it?
I took 1st image from reddit, camera modes in marshmallow I guess. The second one is screenshot from my phone. I remember correctly that before the latest firmware update I saw slow-mo but no monochrome, now it's the other way around.
Slo-Mo is available up to 409 dpi. If you have set "Smallest width" in Developer settings to a larger number it will not show in the camera options

Most likely because that module hasn't been updated in 4 years. Odds are it's not compatible with anything anymore.
Alternative
